Iwent to the interview, Grace the manager in Casselberry forgot about the interview so we did the interview on team, that should have been the 1st Red flag. Anyway after the ten minute interview was over she said she would check my references and call me back. Well she never checked ANY of my references and just sent me an email they chose another candidate. No integrity, thank God I went with my instincts and interviewed elsewhere and I was hired today. I should have researched them first, really bad reviews.

They missed the whole DR floor, swept dirt into a pile and left some! Left dirt in a pile in kitchen. I didn't hire them but still it's horrible!

You're better off with a personal cleaner than merry maids. They over charge and do not pay their employees correctly

They came, discussed what to do for the hour for 10 min and counted that in the hour. On the phone a few times. One just basically stood by. Out of the entire house they cleaned my mother's room and, if u call it clean, two bathrooms. Powder still by the shower. Prints all over the faucet. Never touched the kitchen, living room, dining room, not the two other bedrooms. No dusting, vacuuming, on anything other than my mother's room. Before they said they were done, not even an hour later, I asked her if she could just wipe down the common floors. She quickly did with the water that was never changed. $160 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My mother paid this bc it's her house but I am devastated that people like this took advantage of her. I ended up cleaning the whole house and cleaning up after what they did. Never again!

I contacted Merry Maids in Winchester because I recalled how helpful their company was with being charitable with the adult developmentally disabled population where I used to live in NY. The owner of the company is also a native NY'er so we had a "connection" during the phone call.

What I wanted was clearly expressed. It was my intention to have my 16-year old home undergo a deep cleaning to get it ready for sale. Intense focus should be paid to corners, cleaning the actual doors (not just the knobs), getting scuff marks off the floor, all in addition to deeply cleaning everything.
Long story short, and I don't care about timeliness, this was the gal's first day on the job. There were two lovely gals who were super nice, yet you could not tell the house had been cleaned when they left. I took numerous photos of the horror that they left behind and demanded a refund. I received an apology with another appointment for a re-do. Huge regret in accepting that offer.
The same ladies returned. They decided to use vinegar to clean every window in the home. They also deposited used, vinegar drenched, rags in garbage cans throughout the house. My house became infested with fruit flies! When I finally realized that the streaks of vinegar on the windows were attracting the fruit flies, I had to clean them to resolve the issue.
Also, toilet paper holders and towel holders still had a layer of dust on them. Corners were still filthy. They did not attempt to clean any scuff marks. They merely pushed a mop around.
They can get away with this because folks like me cannot be bothered with the hassle of taking them to Small Claims Court for reimbursement.
If I could give a rating of a zero, I would.

I'm very upset. This company is a scam! They adjust their prices to whatever they feel and beat around the bush so they can crank up the prices hoping you won't notice! I had a furniture delivery scheduled for that day and had them clean downstairs living/dining kitchen and 3 bedrooms. They sent two cleaners initially and they took 3 hours to clean a half bath and master! My room was almost empty and they took another hour on that then I walk in to see what progress they made and neither was working so I said what's going on they say oh we only have 35 minutes for two rooms so we're waiting and mind you they charge HOURLY. They call me and ask to stay another hour so I asked the price and they say $405 so I said with my $300 deposit and they said yes so I say ok $105 more is not bad have them stay. They sent another girl to help them and only two are working at a time! It's a circus they tell me my cleaning was $405 additionally and call me back to say I'm wrong and the girls don't have to clean the whole time or be supervised! Now I have to leave a BBB review I'm just shocked they've managed to last this long!

In all my years as a professional cleaner, carer, and support worker in the UK, and the USA. I have known a person to be belligerent, obtuse, lacking in refinement, value nor virtue, crass, and less than useless. Thus not fit for purpose. Existence is futile. This is Mr Rolfe in Kinston Upon Thames.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They tell you that the rate is $70 an hour on the phone but it's really $140 hour. I had to pay over $300 for a terrible 2 hour cleaning job. I specifically asked for 3 windows and blinds to be cleaned and they were not done. The grout in the bathroom wasn't scrubbed. The floor area under the cabinets wasn't cleaned and they picked up a filthy floor mat and threw it on top of my sanitized 5 gallon water container that was moved outside of the cleaning area resulting in a contamination. I had moved it to an outside foyer which was not part of the apartment. Why they went outside the apartment is beyond me. DO NOT HIRE THIS SHADDY COMPANY.

3 items were stolen from my home by Merry Maids employees (the only people to enter my home besides myself). This is a huge violation, and one that I would have thought the company would also be concerned regarding, but this was not the case.

Complaint placed with Merry Maids local representative (Deborah Goslin). Debbie was not interested in information regarding her employees, ensuring that this does not happen to other customers, or coming to a resolution. Details regarding stolen goods were left on her voicemail, and also via email. Attempted to let her know my concerns. Debbie was not interested in hearing these. She stated that her employees would never do such a thing, and the business has never had a stolen items complaint. Later in the conversation she contradicted herself by stating that the last time this happened all employees needed to make statements to the police, one of the women who last came to my home was dismissed (did not provide a reason, but said the company is not responsible for her actions as she no longer works there), and told me that she cannot reimburse me for stolen items unless a police report is filed (which clearly would not be helpful as the company does a great job of sending many different employees into the home- I believe it was 9 different employees who came to my home over the course of 7 cleanings).

I am moving out, and I gave them the size of the house, rooms, etc. they quoted me, and set appointment. My house needed a deep clean, so it would take more time. They did not reach out and say they needed more time. They didn't do one room well. When I walked in and saw the kitchen it first looked great, but the floor wasn't done or done well, there was a cobweb in the corner. They threw away things that they shouldn't have. They just didn't do a good job for 3 cleaners for 3.5 hours. I had a friend stop by, and I guess a cleaner was taking a break on the steps eating a sandwich. I think complained about the work that was done and things thrown away. The person was super rude. I understand sticking up for your staff, but I send pictures, and explain if they could've even done one room well, I would be more understanding. I checked my card to see a pending of $150 over what I was quoted. They didn't communicate sending another person would cost more, they didn't communicate the amount they were going to charge since it was different than the quote. The maids didn't spend more time there…finally they said they would refund the $150.
I was so excited and hopeful that this was going to go great, but it was horrible and then to have someone be rude after made it worse. Lesson learned!

I had my first cleaning with Merry Maids and I loved it! Wendy's team was right on time for the appointment and got right to work. The job they did was awesome, cleaning everything. I loved that they actually do a wet wipe clean on the furniture instead of just using a duster, you can see the shine on the furniture and they clean everywhere. I will definitely be using Merry Maids again and I will be requesting Team #11 with Wendy and Rosy in the future.

I have foolishly signed up package for 10 cleanings. First visit was very poor cleaning, only visible part of floor boards was cleaned. They never cleaned a shower, and over all very poor cleaning. The second visit is today at 9:00 am. It is 10:40 am and no show. Stay away from this "business. "

Terrible customer service. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. As a realtor, I often buy a deep cleaning for my clients after we close on their house. Merry Maids charged me over $1000 to clean a 2400 square foot house -- a house that was just listed on the market, fairly clean to begin with. My client even said they worked slowly. I took it up with their management, showing them my client's message, and they were all, "sorry not sorry." They were zero help and I had to keep following up for a response. Again, DO NOT USE.

Long story short I've never seen a profession if you need to reschedule they get mad and hang up on you the 2nd time they came to clean my house it wasn't even done proper and my house is very easy. They didn't wipe down like 3 of the cabinets they didn't wipe down the countertop and they didn't throw the trash they didn't even wipe down the outside of the refrigerator didn't vacuum the laundry room. Didn't vacuum the bathroom I could go on if I'm gonna pay this much money for this service all I wanted was it to be good I'm not gonna lie the girl that came out the 1st day did an amazing job it seems like after that you don't get what you pay for at all.

I gave this company every chance to do well. Ultimately, they failed. And then, Charged my credit card for work not done. I've reported it as fraud.

Proceed at your own hazard with this company.

Im not sure WHY, but they never answered my request for cleaning, she called me said she would send a quote over and never responded, I called left voicemails, emailed, they totally GHOSTED ME

I am amazed at how personable and accommodating MerryMaids cleaners are. They always check to see what I want done. I like that Elisha has been here often enough that she knows where to look for things I may have forgotten to get out. She's a keeper and I'd like to have her come back for every cleaning.

This com Any is a joke. Of ALL the cleaning I've ever used this one that costs $100-$150.00 MORE than any other cleaning company in Jacksonville and STILL they STINK UP MY HOUSE with their amateur cleaning "talent". They damage items and do t honor their mistakes even though they say as their CREED that they will come back and clean it and make it right! Oh sure, they've never even responded to my request for monetary reimbursement for their damages that they caused! I guarantee this company is going DOWN in a heartbeat. I promise you that! PEOPLE BEWARE of this cleaning company. They'll demand you call with a credit card and expect immediate response but when the tables are turned they will they will ignore you and make more if their excuses. NOT PROFESSIONAL IN ANY WAY and their owner is ARROGANT and full of himself. Please do not use this service. I don't tell lies! THEY DO!
