The size of this set is perfect and my son loves playing with the larger pieces on his checkered rug. The set arrived on time and was exactly as expected
The chess set is amazing! Large, strong and makes a bold statement. Pieces are easy to move and heavy enough to not need to be weighted internally. Everything I ever wanted! Plan to have many great future chess games with this set! It is well worth the investment. I suggest getting spare queens for promotions and the handy travel storage bags they offer as well! I was glad I did since I actually promoted in my first game with this set.
This is a second purchase as I needed to buy replacement chess board for my large set. Was charged by FEDEX for duty fee so was a bit unexpected but received the product in the end.

Arrived early or on time. Easy assembly of the chess pieces themselves, but the chess board was very difficult to set up regardless of the instructions that were provided.

This set is perfect for my classroom chess club! Excellent quality and the 16" size is easy to use inside or out The material board is easy to use. The plastic connect board not so much.

I made a 30" × 30" chess table while in quarantine, from materials I had on hand. I never dreamed I'd be able to find chess pieces the exact size I needed! The pieces I got from MegaChess are hefty, but not heavy, and feel like they'll hold up for years. They weren't expensive at all, but they do not feel cheap in any way. I am 100% satisfied.
What a wonderful game to add to our game night. Big easy to set up. We do game night every month and everyone loves it.
