Mediafire's reputation is polarized, with some users praising its reliability and ease of use for file sharing, highlighting quick response times to support inquiries. However, significant concerns persist regarding customer service, particularly issues related to unexpected subscription charges, difficulty in canceling accounts, and inadequate support responses. Many customers express frustration over perceived unethical practices, such as misleading advertising and data loss. Overall, while Mediafire offers a functional service for some, numerous complaints indicate a need for improved transparency and customer support to enhance user satisfaction and trust.

Cannot upload anything larger than 400Mb.
Upload speed compared to GoogleDrive or Dropbox is horrendous.
It always cause my PC to startup slowly or crash and I did uninstall it once and solved my crashes or not let it startup with Windows to solve the problem.
Not thrilled that they decided to change the service from 250G to 100G for the same price. I had to switch credit cards and when I did I was talked into "upgrading" which totally screwed me out of the additional memory. When I emailed to see if there was anything I could do about going back to the original plan I had, they looked up the recorded conversation and said I never said anything about the difference in memory (because I didn't notice it) instead of doing the right thing and working with me. Their customer service SUCKS. I've had a lot of complaints from my clients about trouble uploading and downloading from their site and have had my files corrupted on their site.
I cancelled, but of course can't be refunded for the time I'm not going to be using. I've used 3 months of a year subscription and I want NOTHING to do with Mediafire ever again. I'm S. O. L. For getting a refund though.
Use Dropbox. None of my clients have a problem with them. It's worth the extra money, because you gat what you pay for.
Probably the cleanest and easiest to use filesharing/storing site out there. I want to say more, but there really is nothing else to say. Its just super simple, clean, and quick. A great filesharing site in an internet full of cluttered and sketchy filesharing sites.
I love this website! No viruses, no waiting time, no account needed. I always try to get this website if I want to download a file. Its nice and doesn't seems sketchy. The only down part is that the website isn't really searchable. You have to know the song you're looking and then you have to search it on a separate search engine. I would really like to give this website 4 and 1/2 stars though! :D
I've used mediafire for a while now and never had a bad experience, both as a free and paid user. Really easy to use and quick upload and download speeds.
