Worst company ever
February 11, 2022

I've been dealing with mdg for a little bit over two months. Don't and I repeat don't look at an item and add it to your cart to see how much it will cost you because if you leave the item in the cart they will charge you for the item and make you wait to get your refund. I had multiple agents tell me that they do not take money with out us signing something but then I spoke to another agent who actually admitted that if you leave an item in your cart that they are not like other online shopping sites and that they assume that you want the product. Funny thing is I never received an email saying that the order was placed! When I asked for my money back they told me that they will give me my money back but I won't get it till February 11th because they need to verify the checking account, what is there to verify especially when it's the same account that you take out my payment for the other item that I lease with them. If I could cancel my account I would but unfortunately I can't because I still owe on my item! WORST COMPANY EVER! They don't care if they left you with no money. They're quick to take it but want to be tough in giving it back!

Customer service sucks

Company seems fine. You get what you ordered at q huge mark up but that's the deal for small over time payments. BUT the customer service is horrible if you ever have to call in. For the love of your mental health use the online services or don't bother with the company at all because talking to a person in their customer service department is like bashing your head off a brick wall, only difference is when bashing your head you get results.

Horrible! After many phone calls, many errors on my forms on their behalf and taking all my downpayments, the called the day they were to schedule my shipment to say I'm not approved and would be getting refunded in a week. Such a bizarre business! Why would you have an account signs all the documents, the website state you have a credit line of 1700, take all down payments only to call and say you weren't approved?! I've never heard of business having people sign all documents and taking your money for downpayments without approval. I wasted two months thinking I was receiving the order! I even turned away an offer to purchase the products out right from someone else. Don't waste your time!

Been a customer for 4 years. Now I'm mad.

Was skeptical of this at first but turns out it's all legit. Bought a 58" Samsung TV and ps4 bundle. Payment was $29 every 2 weeks. Went great. Paid it off... no problems. Now... I bought an 82" Samsung TV and Samsung sound bar bundle. Bought February of 2021. It's not even been a year and the TV is not working. I called MDG, they said call Samsung because it's within the 1 year manufacturer warranty. So I call Samsung. Turns out it's a Canadian model and American Samsung can't service it. Call Canadian Samsung. Can't service it because the TV is not in Canada. Now I'm dealing with MDG again. 20 emails back and forth over 2 days. They want all this proof of who I am and my address. I've sent them my lease, AEP bill and my renters insurance all showing what they asked for. They keep acting like it's not good enough. I'm pissed because it shouldn't be this hard to get something replaced/ repaired. I still have the 58" TV I bought 4 years ago. You would think I would have issues with it before the newer one.

This is a bad company. 90% of the people can't speak English, let alone understand it. The customer service people... Andy & Hannah to be specific, love to run their mouth & not LISTEN to the customer, which is what they are supposed to do. The supervisor I spoke to is really fricking stupid. Beware all possible customers. This company will try to rip you off, which is what they tried to do to me.

I just Paid off this account $1240. 00 per MDG web and now they want more for 5 days interest payments.
MDG is telling me it takes 5 days to do a direct bank Draft! Total Crap, This is a scam to fleece you more in interest payment. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMERS!

Damaged TV and No help at all
December 23, 2021

We had a house fire back in June and lost a lot. Insurance barely covered the minimum. So while contractors were fixing up our loft area, we started ordering things so when they were done we could get our lives back to normal. I ordered a TV back in September because they were about done, but couldn't do anything with the room until the county inspector passed it. Well with a few issues here and there, we didn't pass inspection until the first week in December. So when we passed, we unboxed our TV and turned it on and guess what? TV was damaged. It had a line in the screen and a black mark. I call MDG this week, explaining the circumstances and they flat out tell me, "The TV is damaged, and there is nothing we can do, sorry". So they want me to continue to pay for a TV that was sent to us damaged. I sent another email and they are not responding to me. Mind you, we are a returning customer and this is the second TV we've purchased from them! I understand these TV's come straight from the manufacturer, but we weren't the only ones to touch this TV. There were quite a few people with this TV before I received it. So they are forcing my hand now and I will have to file suit in order to either get a replacement TV or be refunded. It's a shame because my family and I spend a lot of time in this room and now we have to deal with this! Beware!

They sent me a used ps5, I called them and they said all they're merchandise is new and factory sealed. They sent me another box that was destroyed and ps5 is not factory sealed. I'm going to report them in the morning. Worst experience ever!

Months of waiting

We bought a washer and dryer from these people. At the end of Sept 2021. We started paying for the washer/dryer on Sept 30 was our first payment. We do not have a washer and dryer here in the house so every time we need to do laundry it costs upwards of 708$ they gave us a couple $50 credits but really... that is a joke compared to what we are spending on the laundromat. MDG told us the machines are coming from the brick. We happen to have one of the best run Bricks in all of Canada. The man there is very nice, has helped us with another matter in the past, whole process was painless. Now the laundry team... the man from the brick went thru the entire inventory that the brick has, he found 40 sets of machines that are equivalent to the set we bought, sitting in a warehouse less than an hour from where we are. I emailed a Steve Stikovic and an Ivana V. (whose name shows up in MDG's bad reviews,). But Steve and Ivana are not responding to me at all. We are paying for this set of washer and dryer since Sept 30 twice a month with delivery date that keeps getting pushed. First it was 2 weeks, then 3, then 5, then 9, now they are telling us we won't have them until the 3rd week of January 2022. We paid for express shipping which I think they refunded I'm not sure because this is taking so long. We pay at least 70$ a week at the laundromat sometimes more depending on IF we have the money to spare. They are saying these machines won't be here until 3rd week of January. How many times have you washed your clothes since September 27th? I have added the order number in the space provided and took a screenshot so you can't say I didn't include it to prolong this nightmare any longer. All we have for proof is loads of emails back and forth.

I started the process to do this and the person who helped me was hard to understand, rude and every other day he needed some different information I went back and forth for weeks with them and I ended up saying I don't even wanna start business. I'm glad I chose not to. If I can rate this a negative stars I would.

I ordered a Tv and like normal it takes a while to receive. Which I'm good with. What I'm not good with is that they sent me a tv that was programmed for Canada and when I called them they treated me like I was stupid. Told me to get a ticket number from manufacture when I did again I got the run around they sent me YouTube videos to try and reprogram the tv after I told them the manufacturer said it was programmed that way and it would have to be fixed by them. Then after that I had to send pictures of the screen and side of the tv like I was lying and I took it apart. Now mind you this happened around the 10th they finally agreed to have the Tv picked up but not till the 29th and I won't receive a new tv until the other tv gets picked up and gets a ticket number. But yet they have taken their payment for a tv I have not been able to use. I'm very disappointed with this company this is not my first order but unfortunately once I pay my account off it will be my last. I have never been late nor missed a payment and to be treated the way I was is unacceptable. Now to see how long it will take to get a new tv. I will definitely come back and update when that happens if it happens let's see if they show up tomorrow 11/29/21 to pick it up.
Update TV was picked up on 11/29/21 they said they sent a new tv on 12/02/21 and here it is the 12/12/21 and no tv yet. I guess it was supposed to be delivered on 12/15/21 and again I'm still paying for the TV been paying my payments since I purchased but don't have a TV. Yeah to say they lost a loyal customer is putting it mildly.

Beware if you are going to order a smaller item like a laptop, phone, or anything not a TV. They use UPS to ship, and after the first item was stolen by a UPS employee, the 2nd has gone missing. Not only do they only have UPS for a shipping option, they put the same of the item in the reference number. The UPS rep I spoke with pointed that out and said "everybody at UPS can see what is in that box".

The reference number for my package included "/SAMSUNG BLACK GALAXY S21 "

Not only that, but after I was assured payments were on hold, they debited my account anyways for an order I canceled.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

I have upper 400s and they still wouldn't get me credit.So very disappointed. I need a laptop to work at home to make money and now I'm just going to have to wait. Thanks mdg for helping not!

Thanks for the feedback Shannon! Credit scores are not the only deciding factor in an application there is other information that goes into the formula/decision-making process. MDG does finance to plenty of clients who don't necessarily have the best credit or zero credit. If you're not approved this time around, we encourage you to submit a new application in 3-6 months as it will be based on a new credit assessment.

Twice MDG has withdrawn payments from my account before the due date. The reason i was given was because of a holiday. To my knowledge if any preauthorized payments fall on a stat holiday, then your payment is withdrawn the next buisness day. How is it legal to take money from someones account before the money is due.

This place is a scam

This place is trying to charge me $4000. For a $1200. Tv and when I ask about what my pay off is they say over $2000. Which includes interest after pay off. Don't waste your money I will be going to better business in US and Canada!

Thieves!
October 19, 2021

Thieves! Stole my Money and refuse to return! They keep drafting my account for merchandise that I do not have. I have revoked my authorization since July 2021 and yet they continue to draft. They will not allow me to remove my payment method from their website. I have 30+ emails demanding my money back have called 100+ times and yet they refuse to return my money. It has cost me money to stop payment with my bank. I have contacted the police about unlawful access to my bank account and will be contacting a lawyer. BUYER BEWARE! If you don't want to keep your cash then they are the company for you!

Lack of professionalism
September 30, 2021

I was scheduled a delivery on 9 30-30 well I received my delivery but the problem was they just left it at my door standing upright which is a 65" Samsung Q LED fork ED4K smart TV every everyone knows that you do not stand ATV from it's in ATV vertical it's always horizontal. To top it off it was supposed to be a threshold delivery there was no one there to sign for it because I was waiting for phone call because I was at work they told me that someone signed for and their name was Mike and they sign that 4:06 p.m. will this occurred at 9:30 this morning so how could anyone very well could have signed for it nor is there not a Mike that lives in my place Someone was supposed to contact me by the name of miss Rita which is in charge of the dispatching of the drivers which I never received a call from her this is very poor customer service I do not recommend anyone by anything from them
