I passed my college algebra course thanks to MathHelp. Using this website was a lot easier than reading the textbook. And very interactive. Every lesson started with several very short video instructions, followed by practice questions and then test questions. Step-by-step.
I passed my Math exemption test. Being out of school for 30 years, what tripped me the most was the "new math tricks." So, learning about PEMDAS and the the rules with positives and negatives helped me immensely. Thank you for this website.
Our daughter used Mathhelp to review for her ALEKS math placement test at college. She said that the lessons were very thorough but not long and that she appreciated the "tips and tricks." A 75 was needed to place her in a calculus I class, and she scored 85.
Very comprehensive easy to follow content, with partial review test and final test. Videos are very well explained, straight to the point (without unnecessary words and chat), although some of the presenters could work a little bit on their monotone voice, which sometimes makes it boring to listen to (that's the reason I kept a star)
Bur overall, very good price for the material.
This was my third attempt of the HESI test and I finally passed! All of this course was super helpful and way more in depth than any other material I found. It was pricey for the program but I was willing to pay anything if it would help me pass. Nursing school here I come!
I learned 10std math. The Geometry curriculum was easy and algebra is a little tough. Math help explains sums with different methods and in the easiest way.
I scored an 86 on the TEAS VI test and the most helpful was refreshing myself on all of the algebra. Simplifying equations, finding variables and all of that stuff which I was then able to apply to the word problems. The program was easy to use and was the best study guide that I found and I like that it's interactive unlike a lot of the others I found.
I'm a 40 year old back in college and I had to take the Aleks test to place into the correct math class. I tried sample tutorial programs online and Mathhelp.com was the best. The instructional videos are short and to the point. For the first time in my life, I finally understood the concepts and scored high on the Aleks test. I was able to place into the math class that I needed without wasting time and money in pre-math classes. If you are struggling in math or need a refresher, do not hesitate to try this program!
I got a 51 on my ALEKS after using this test prep, which prepared me for well for pre calculas at university. Very effective, and I saved 1000$ learning online here vs taking college algebra/geometry. The whiteboard explanations as well as the system in which its set up is superior to the other programs I tried.
I loved the way you guys explain in details and give practice tests and tests of every section. Thanks for the GMAT content it was really helpful, next time I need help with my math I will come back to you guys. Thanks again for your help!
Super helpful! I don't think I could've passed the Indiana CORE Elementary test if I hadn't of taken it. Will recommend to others
I'm re-entering college, hoping to go to graduate school in a medical field after having graduated with my undergrad 6 years ago. It has been 8 years since I took a formal math class.
To say I was nervous about taking the Accuplacer test is an understatement. I was having nightmares about having to take remedial math for a second time.
At first I was like "do I really want to spend the $50 to cram for a few weeks?" But then I thought about how much more it would cost to take 6 additional college credits worth of math classes, plus the extra semesters I would need just to get placed in the course I needed. It would cost me an extra $984 if I had to start at remedial math, so the $50 investment was a no-brainer.
I crammed with MathHelp for about 2 weeks and got a 270 on my Accuplacer exam, putting me in Pre-Calculus, the most advanced math I have ever taken before. I entered the class feeling a little nervous, but I'm picking up the material just fine. Thank you MathHelp, I couldn't have done it without you!
The Accuplacer AAF exam went well. Scored better than expected. The videos are great and very easy to understand.
The program is amazing. Especially when it comes to accountability. My son has math gaps, but has started college. We will resume on his breaks when time allows. He does advanced math with silly mistakes! Great program. He had to get a certain amount of 100's in a row before I allowed him to move on to a new section. Excellent system.
I am not one to leave reviews ever. But I felt the need to leave a review for Mathhelp.com so other people can know how good this website is! I was skeptical at first having to pay for a PERT study course but I am so glad I did. I hadn't done any math since high school which was 7 years ago for me and I didn't remember anything at all. But I followed this course for 2 weeks and in that time I learned more than I had at years of school. I scored a perfect 150 on my PERT and because of it I got to take the Accuplacer and scored well on that too which placed me in Pre Calc and Trig! It saved me from taking over a year worth of lower level maths and thousands of dollars. For $50 it was definitely worth it and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to take any math placement test or just wants a refresher in math. I only wish all my math courses used mathhelp.com it is by far much superior to Pearsons mymathlab which pails in comparison. The structure of this course was by far the most efficient way I have ever been taught math. The clear explanations in the short videos and practice questions afterwards makes learning the material so easy! I just want to say thank you!
MathHelp.com was extremely helpful for me. I've always struggled with math. The TSI course helped me to pass the TSI! All the videos are very easy to understand. I love the practice problems. You really get to understand what you are doing and are able to retain the information for the future! I definitely recommend this site for anyone who needs help in math.
Please DO NOT spend your money here. Complete waste of time and my money. I spent $49.99 initially on their service for a month and they did not help me increase my score whatsoever and covered unnecessary topics like PEMDAS but didn't cover calculus. In addition, after understanding that this was a complete waste of my time and a scam, I stopped using this service. However, they charged ANOTHER 49.99 without any prior notice to my bank account. Now I have wasted my time, $100, and they refuse to provide me a refund.
It's been about ten years since I've taken a math class and I am going back to school this fall. I needed a 21 on the Aleks to place into my paramedic program and I received at 50 after using Mathhelp prep. I just tried to get through as many lessons as I could in a couple weeks. I know a 50 isn't super high, but it was enough to place into my course so I'm happy. The whole instruction, practice, test setup worked really well. I think the videos were really good, they really set up the lessons well and I learned well from them.
It was very helpful! I passed my College Algebra course. I loved the videos and the practice problems on every lesson.
I'm in the process of going back to school, and I needed to take a math placement test to (hopefully) test out of a math prerequisite class for the class I wanted to take. I have not taken a math class in 14 years, so you can imagine how worrisome this was. I signed up for the ALEKS course, finished it in about a week, and was able to not only place out of the class I needed to, but one level above it! To be fair, I used to be good at math in school, so this course was more of a refresher for me. I paid $50 for the ALEKS course and was able to avoid a $500 college math class - definitely well worth it!

Answer: It is not easy at all. The only thing they provide is an email address and a promise of a 24-hour response I am going on my 7 days awaiting a response for a refund
