This site promises a lot and delivers little. Nothing worthwhile as far as casting goes unless you pay a premium and in that case, I would rather go with Backstage, Actors Access, Playbill, or Showbill. Site is not nearly as intuitive as it could be and some steps are not clear, although that could be said of other casting sites. Suffice it to say, I have wasted valuable time on this site building my profile and trying to upload files only to find that I can't apply to any real jobs. Disappointing but not surprising. Really, Mady should be paying me for all the time I wasted on it.
My daughter has had two lovely jobs from this site.
The variety of roles are great and there are so many opportunities on there.

I joined Mandy pretty recently but so far it's been convenient to have film and TV opportunities and jobs in one place. I've definitely seen postings there I haven't found elsewhere on the main job sites and even on some of the smaller ones. It's hard to find openings in my city and they have quite a few more than other platforms. It's nice to have a separate place for volunteer posts so you can seek them out or avoid them depending on what you're looking for. So far so good!

To have to pay a considerable amount of money to join a site whith so little chance of success is almost criminal! The whole premise is misguided. Each job placed on the site requires hopeful vo artistes to submit an audition audio tape with their application and most of these never even get listened to. There are simply too many people applying for too few jobs. Whereas Fiverr.com doesn't charge for joining but like any agent charges 20% for each Gig gained. It shows how fiver expects its sellers to succeed which is why it can make money purely from agency fees, While Mandy voice makes it's money from sign on fees and could never survive on taking a cut from work gained because there just isn't enough of it. 2,3 maybe 5 jobs offered a day as against fivers hundreds of freelance jobs a day.

I have been using Mandy on and off for a few years whenever I am looking for casting notices or production work. The site used to be entirely free online; you could search and apply for jobs for free. However, they have switched to a subscription-based model. It is still a handy tool and has the possibility of helping people find work. However, I wish the free version of the site allowed more opportunities to search and apply all jobs. Perhaps they could try a tiered system where "premium" or "featured" gigs required a fee, and general calls for PAs and/or extras were free.

Using the free system only, there is a good amount of information available. But it requires a membership in order to act from within the site. We'll see if there is value added to that, but it's a little but of a misnomer to go in expecting the support for artists without the financial impact.

I love how they give opportunities to coming up voice artists in their voice over competition. I like how they have set a different platform for artists who are new in the industry. I love it!

I have found several jobs through Mandy which have more than made the cost of the service worth it. I will say it requires a lot of work on your part, maintaining your profile and writing good quality applications, but if you are seeking commercial work, low-paid film work or entertainment jobs such as holiday parks this is good place to find opportunities. If you are looking for high paid and high exposure jobs such as West End then this is not the correct website, but for a steady working actor I have found Mandy to be useful.
