Bearing in mind that COVID has shut down the majority of productions, there are still opportunities for people getting into the acting industry. In my own personal experience, I would say that it's great especially for people starting out and looking to get experience prior to getting onto spotlight.

Mandy Network is an exciting website for actors to build a profile and search for work. The tailored emails we receive each day make finding work all the easier in an ever so difficult industry!

Mandy is one of the best casting platforms around. The interface is elegant and easy to navigate and there are a ton of resources for finding agents and other industry professionals. Highly recommended.

Mandy is extremely user friendly and is easy to get a hold of. Sections of the website are clearly labelled out and there is a vast variety of jobs for all ages, sizes and ethnicities. I have throughly enjoyed my time on Mandy and managed to land my first ever job through the site. Very grateful!

Mandy Actors USA provides a great service actors, with a wide range of Casting Calls of all diversities.

I've been using this platform for over 10 years and I've had the chance to work on a number of really great projects along the way. Strongly recommend using.

I'm a Canadian VO artist and my review will be based on my experience using the Canadian VO Premium version.

1. You are only allowed to see auditions for jobs in the Country in which you live. This makes NO sense for VO work, as most of the advertised auditions are for performers with home studios. In other words, they could hire anyone, anywhere to do the job. My current and past freelance VO clients are all in the US or the UK.
2. Most of the jobs posted pay less than minimum wage or want you to work for "exposure". There are never any union gigs up for grabs.
3. Most of the jobs posted in the VO section are for Radio Announcers/Hosts. These are usually the kind of jobs that are posted under "journalism" as they usually require at least 3 years experience in the Radio Production or Journalism fields
4. Most of the auditions are widely posted elsewhere for FREE.
5. Their Support claims that they post about 200 VO auditions monthly. The number is closer to 20-30
6. I got creepy messages from randos who liked my photo.
7. They have a feature so you can see how many people with Mandy accounts are viewing your profile and how many times you come up in searches. In theory, this is a great feature. In reality, 9 times out of 10 the only people viewing your profile are other VO artists looking for work.
8. You cannot view the profiles of potential employers, EVEN IF the send you messages or make you an offer.

Sorry to say, but Mandy.com reeks of scam. I don't think it's intentional, the platform is just badly researched and ignorant of how the VO industry works or the kinds of features that VO artists need. Save your money.

Very excited to get going with Mandy. I only recently signed up, but can already tell that there will be doors opened to me, relationships foraged, and I will benefit from it every day. Time to get to work! -Chris

I have been with Mandy for many years now. I have been able to get cast in a number of productions through their jobs board. The membership fee has always paid for itself. I have also had great success with their customer service, with quick and positive replies to my emails.

This website is easy to use and is great for those beginning their careers in performing. You get a vast amount of jobs sent to your email everyday that may suit you. All in all a great platform to begin with.

I'm so happy that a service like this exists! Hopefully I can find some video gigs to transition myself away from my desk job. Looking forward to giving it a try.

I just joined this site and though it seems helpful in finding new jobs, I was confused that I could not complete my profile until I added a production that I worked on. Also seems a bit expensive monthly when I am only partially qualified for one of the job options. Overall I will try this site but unless I find more job availabilities it will not be worth it

Easy to use, provides good information. Easy to apply for jobs (when you pay for membership). Looking forward to seeing new job opportunities.

I have been using Mandy Network for a few months, and I have been pretty impressed with it so far. I like how they notify you when your credits have been verified and when someone looks at your profile. One of the downsides to using this site is that to use any of the beneficial parts of the site; you have to be a premium user (which I also understand as they have to make money somehow).

I used the Mandy site early in my career and it led to some connections that have lasted almost 20 years! It gives you a variety of options, from beginner projects to fully formed professional ones. It's also a great place to make contacts in the industry and in places around the world!
