At first i was so emotional and just so scared i just was posting everywhere on social media. I called the police but wad informed to call shelters it was 10pm freezing outside and my dog was missing only 6 months old. I posted on lostmydoggie a picture/bio/ phone number/ address etc. And within the hour i was getting texts she was seen. In the morning someone dropped her off to my husband at our house they said they saw our ad/ flyer on lostmydoggie. I WAS SOOOO HAPPY I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE TO ANYONE WHO LOSES THEIR Dog. They make you a flyer and send emails and faxes and texts to volunteers qho sign up to help in your area, they sent emails and faxes to local pet buisnesses and shelters this helped so much!
My little dog ran off Tuesday afternoon and didn't come back like he usually does. I posted on the neighborhood website and nothing. I called the local pet shelter and the gentleman told me to post on lost my doggie so I did. Two hours later I received a call from the same shelter telling me couple brought my Tiny dog in. They wanted to keep him, but the lady there say the flyer I posted and told them no they couldn't keep him. I picked him up and he was reunited with us! I called my vet to tell them too and she said they just saw the same flyer on list my doggie. This site is by far the best place to post a missing pet!
Had lost our little hunter, A friendly female beagle, Suppose she slipped out the front door unnoticed and being a beagle bred for following her nose was gone before we noticed. We searched every corner of our house and neighbor hood even a drive around the the area, No luck so we decided to give lost my doggie a try. Filled out the questions as best as possible and chose there free option labeled "Woof". Within 24 hours she was found and we were informed were to pick her up. We are so happy to have her back home and thankful to lost my doggie and the people who found her.
Thank you SO much for helping us find Aiko! She was lost on a Saturday night, and LostMyDoggie's amazingly fast and large communications to our neighborhood led to my receiving a call from a neighbor on Sunday morning. They had found Aiko the night before and in the morning saw Aiko's photo and my contact number in one of Lost My Doggie's ads. She didn't have a collar on when she got lost and we were low on hope of anyone knowing to contact us. Amazing service! If you lost your best friend, this is the organization you should rely on.
Always impressed with LostMyDoggie~ this time it was a kitty. I encourage everyone to tell a friend about LMD. In fact, I've used the service, but how do I get put on the list to be contacted via Amber alert? What a great Christmas present, a gift certificate to LMD in case of an emergency. You know you know "that guy or lady" who is waaay into their pet. They will appreciate the gift so much! Thx you, LMD.com!
Just when I lost all hope of finding my dog someone recommended LostMyDoggie.com Within minutes they sent out emails, faxes and alerts. And in less then a few hours people from my community started reaching out and we were able to locate who found her. I highly recommend using this website if you lose your pet. Will recommend to every pet owner I know.
Read this: To my community you won't believe this I must share this miracle story: I came back from new Smyrna Beach boating and having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Our custom interior/ exterior dog pen and doggie house was securely containing our dogs at home. To our bewilderment on our return one of our Yorkies was missing there was no sign of forced entry nor sign of predator. We spent hours writing up posters, posting on next-door and putting signs out... And Today in despair I found an app called lostdoggie.com. For a small fee they put out an alert to the veterinarians in the area, shelters and 500 voice text alerts to the neighbors. Now my little voice kept saying she was most probably owl meat after 2 days in the wild... I didn't give it much significance instead I was dealing with the whats so that I probably wasn't going to see her again. I was managing much better from the time before Landmark education when I lost a dog. I couldn't get out of bed nor eat for days. After much prayer and reaching out to friends and having coaching calls today. I get the Miracle Call hours after the post that they found my tiny 4 pound dog 2 miles away. Broken leg and all matted up they took her to the veterinarian and the groomers! Only A Divine intervention! You may have other words that you call your believer... I want to give him praise and victory over this situation! Thank you Jesus And I'm here to say landmark education works I was able to stay calm and neutral!
Sincerely,
Roxanne
WOW after 16 days, my dear Flink has been reunited with me! If it weren't for my flyer that I placed in front of my house, most likely the person would have just kept him, because he has not been chipped yet. She claims he came to her house when it started raining a week ago and has been there ever since! So he was out on his own in the streets for one whole week. I was going to call Department of Sanitation today to check if a dead orange cat has been claimed up off the street these last two weeks. PLEASE NEVER GIVE UP and PUT UP POSTERS! Not everyone is digitally connected! This old lady who took him in sure wasn't!
Today was the most wonderful day of my life thanks to lost my doggy website they have not only been supportive that had helped me find the safe return of my pet Jasper thank you so much for all your help also the help of family and friends I would recommend this site to anyone who is looking for their animal a million words cannot say more than love for this website this website deserves every Star that you can count on the entire Earth and the entire sky I miss 2 days of work and nothing but tears and had a nervous breakdown and this website family and friends brought my baby home thank you all so much
We all know that sinking feeling in your heart, it feels like it reaches your Soul-- when you realize your pet is missing. It is one of the worst feelings. So when our dog, Chef, wasn't at home, and the door was open, we knew he'd gotten out, but had no idea where he could be. Chef is one of those old Souls, loved by everyone because you can see how special he is, even from a distance. How I stumbled on LostMyDoggie.com, I don't even know. But after a quick sign up, I soon realized how AMAZING this network of people is set up. Like a lit up spiderweb, and FOR FREE, I might add, vets and "dog pounds" and whoever else is set up with the network, all became notified that our Chef was missing. We didn't have the money, but for a small charge, you can even set up an "Amber Alert text", that gets sent out across your city, notifying people that your pet is missing! That's right- an Amber Alert, just like we all get when a child is missing! You submit a picture n description, and out it goes, lighting up piece by piece, like a bunch of spiderwebs, linked together. And it doesn't end there, their website keeps checking in with you via email and I even got a phone call from them offering a discount code for the Amber Alert text! We had already found Chef, so there's a happy ending to our story. We're so grateful for the support n the help. I am so impressed with this website and their networking abilities. Thank you so much for helping n checking in. So impressed.
Lost my doggie is a really great service. It gave me peace of mind knowing that there is a community dedicated to finding lost fur babies. Thank you
I recently used LostmyKitty to get the word out about my lost cat. He came back on his own thankfully but it was comforting knowing that the site had made contact with area vets and rescue groups. It is a great feature and very useful.
Thank you so very much. My Labrador is diabetic, on the old side, partially blind & takes meds. I was about to bring her in the house last night after the World Series ended but couldn't find her—until this morning thanks to your site! She'd gotten out the yard & wandered almost 2 miles away. And the funny thing is the person who found her lives on a street named Labrador! All's well now. I can decompress! All best! Gil
Thank you so much for your services. I am actually not sure if the man that found my dog was one of the volunteers or had called the shelter after finding her but about 12 hours after getting out and all day searching our Sammie was found by an on duty EMT over 3 miles from our house and across a river and freeway in a parking lot. I was still out searching for her and got an email from lost my doggie.com with his name and number and he had her! Thank you again!
I wanted to thank all of you fellow pet lovers for helping me find my daughters dog Bullet. I thank God that he was found healthy and safe. And with a little act of human kindness from people who surf the pages of this website and other websites just like this I was able to locate bullets whereabouts and was reunited with him all within a day after him getting away. He is now in care of the Pasadena Humane Society where he is being pampered and getting much love. L Also recommend that you look into some of the offers available through PHS for getting your dog neutered, chipped or I need of any shots. The staff there was so helpful, kind & empathetic towards my feelings and needs. Once again I thank all and may God Bless all!
Thank you so much! As soon as I posted up that I lost my Ralphie, I got a call from the local shelter that he had been found. Flyers were sent out to the shelters asap! Thank you so much!
Thanks to this site I received an early notice my pet was found. The finder posted a picture which enabled me to identify her, immediately bringing relief from burdensome stress for the whole family.

This was the first time my baby got out! I was posting everywhere I could think. Many people who commented recommended using this site to try to find my Chewie. I completed all the information and printed out the flyers that they made for my pet. Within a couple of hours of doing this, I received a call from a local animal hospital telling me they think that they had my Chewie. We went there immediately and the first thing that they showed me was the same flyer that I printed, which was faxed to them, is was what reunited me with my baby! I cannot thank you enough for your help in reunite with my baby! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I couldn't stop crying after my Boston Terrier Scrappy ran away from home. My best friend for the past 11 years. Looking up and down the surrounding streets he was nowhere to be found and my heart was broken. Refusing to be comforted because my best friend was no more. My last attempt at finding my dog I was a lost add. Within 15 minutes I got a response from a couple of heros close by. I quickly responded and they informed me they'd found my precious friend. After a total of 4 hours from the time he'd went missing I drive about 5 blocks away to be reunited with Scrappy. It was the best feeling in the world. Now I'm making some changes so it never happens again. So I found my love again and made a couple of new friends. Thank you lostmydoggie.com and my Hero neighbors. You saved me from a boatload of sorrow.
I have a very small, shy, indoor cat who ran out on us last night. This site provided me amazing resources and a PERFECT flyer! I was impressed with the options for an ‘a la carte' package of additional resources I was comfortable using/paying for. We found her on our own but I'm very happy I found this site!
Answer: They have free services and priced packages by tier. We paid $150 for their biggest package.
Answer: The pricing tier that you choose determines how many people are contacted: the higher the price, the more people are contacted. When you sign up your missing pet, you enter in the last seen address. I believe the Amber alert starts with that general area and works it's way out.
Answer: They send you email with all the people they contact.
Answer: They posted to vets, nearby businesses and so many lost pet websites. Saved me so much time and it was quick and they created fliers. They also sent me the list to prove it, which I verified some. They also were in touch with me and sent photos when a dog matched my description. I can't say enough about them... they rock!
Answer: Company emailed & called to let me know she was possible located. Gave me the finders info, I called the person who found her and we met up!
Answer: Great because we have less neighbors nearby so the area covered is greater due to starting nearby and spreading out until they contact the number requested. Populated cities will have smaller radius for same number of amber alerts.
Answer: I paid the finder personally using their cash app once my pet was found. I'm sure other payment methods are ok. That's the one we agreed on.
Answer: I don't know the answer if it is part of PETA or not.
