Last year I had a five-month saga relating to a missing crate. The customer service team kept telling me it would ship in two weeks and then when it hadn't, I would have to recontact them where they would tell me it was shipping in two weeks. Kept making out that many crates were missing / late but in reality it was just mine.
Their CS turn-around time is approx 2-5 days per email so if they do not resolve your issue within their first email, which is rare as they usually ask for more info, then you go back to the end of the line and wait another 2-5 days for the reply, even if you manage to respond to their response immediately, Can take 2-4 weeks to resolve an issue.
Now, I have two parcels shipped within the last four weeks which do not have accurate tracking, and I keep getting told to wait an extra week before contacting again. Their FB team is the most responsive and they don't have customer account access which I find ridiculous. Their Twitter responses used to be quicker but they are way behind par now too.
Their bi-monthly subscriptions crates are very delayed. They have taken two payments from customers but we have not even received one crate. When I asked if they intended to pause payments or speed up posting to address the issue, I was told no. Fairly certain that's actually illegal and that you can't take payment if you know you can't fulfill the order within the advertised time-frame. (At least thats the case here in Australia). Articles online advise these delays are because they are in a bit of a Nerd Block pickle; owe money to vendors. They are using the bi-monthly payments to float the monthly boxes but aren't getting enough cash to them float the bi-monthly. They are essentially robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Avoid if you can or, if you to subscribe, ensure you pay ONLY through PayPal which give you 180 days to make a claim should things go array. Do NOT use CC's.
They just dont care. I got the majority of my items after reporting them to BBB... still havent received my last two items and its March. They even stopped support on their *******@lootcrate.comsays its unmanned now so used online form; no response...
Tried a 3 months subscription, couldn't get the first lootcrate to arrive in 3 months. Still didn't get it. The second one arrived on time and the third one on the way for a month.
The customer support is unresponsive and just plainly bad.
I was so excited to shop the loot vault and loot wear. 1st loot vault I've ordered several items and they've shipped the wrong things or just didn't ship items at all. Anf my loot wear has been delayed for 2 months in canceling my subscription and never ordering from there again. P.s. This was all my first orders talk about leaving a bad first impression!

This company has unethical business practices that start with immediately charging you money. Tried to cancel a subscription within minutes of creation. The help ticket system takes days - my reply is that to have a refund you need to cancel with 48 hours. I believe cancelling within 2 minutes qualifies,,, Oh and no phone number to call for billing or customer support does not exist. You can find a phone number on the BBB that takes you to an answering machine - good luck with that.
Not to mention the three different charges that came in for the same product. Yes an email that charged me a full amount, an online invoice indicating a coupon that was used, and a pre-authorization charge, that were all different that what i was actually charged.
Lootcrate seems to ignore papal requests/cases so if you had an issue with an order and lucky enough to have paid via paypal submit a paypal ticket. Then when they don't reply in 30 days you'll be asked how much money you want back which also gets ignored and you'll just get all or partial money back on your order.
Suck it lootcrate your bad customer service at least PayPal's is good
Was able to get 1/2 refund of my order that was suppose to be guaranteed delivery by Christmas showed up mid January. Don't let them keep your money if they break breach of sales and guarantees.
My husband and I both bought each other crates for Christmas. We would recieve 3 crates (2 each month and 1 every other month) the crates where the DX the loot wear and J. K. ROWLING wizarding world crate. We have had to fight for every crate so far. We where suppose to get our DX crate in Nov 2017 didnt get this it til Jan. They legit forgot to send us our lootwear crate til we contacted them to remind them. And I was suppose to get my j. K. Rowling crate in Jan. It's mid Feb still don't have it. I and my husband have reapeatly tried to get a hold of this company only to get rude poor customer service. Do yourelf a favor don't waste your money.
Loot vault. Ordered stuff for Christmas in last week of November arrived few days before Christmas and they made an error in their inventory tracking and screwed me out of my items.
Then Dec 30 I placed a huge order and paid for it. As of today February 12th my order still hasn't shipped and I get the same robotic response on email because they refuse to have a phone for customer service. I've been told today it's going to take 3-4 more weeks. I was told that in January as well. They took my money and broke their shipping policy of 2 weeks. I guarantee that they'll tell me they made another error in their inventory and refund money that they've held onto for 2+ months. A company that has ******* substitutions and only employes 250 people is ridiculous. They inundate my email 3 times a day to buy more $#*!. I have 3 active subscription boxes and they don't care to resolve my order? I can only assume I am not the only person they take money from and don't hold true to their policy.
I am cancelling my subscriptions and will continue to tweet about them everyday until my issue is resolved. This is what I consider fraudulent business practice.
Had numerous issues with the firefly crates and quality is going down hill.
Crates all delayed.
1 crate never turned up and they said id cancelled which i hadnt.
Some responses from customer services were obvious cut and pastes as the dates they said late crates would arrive had already also expired!
Then asked to specifically cancel a crate after a certain date, which they agreed to, then cancelled straight away.
Reactivated to get that crate and cancelled as soon as they took payment.
Guess what - the crate hasnt turned up and my subscription has not cancelled yet.
As for their loot vault service, the voucher i eventually got didnt work, and their support took so long to come back the item sold out.
And what i did buy from them took about three months to be sent out (for an in stock item) and that was only after i chased several times.
All ive got is "sorry for the inconvenience caused"
What a nightmare. Which would like to hear about first? Loot Vault or Loot Crate? Both are awful.
Ordered multiple items from the Vault in a Christmas Sale. I expected a little delay because of the season. Two WEEKS AFTER CHRISTMAS (three weeks after ordering), it still hadnt BEEN PROCESSED. Im not talking caught in the mail. No, they had let it sit for three weeks! So I emailed to cancel it. They confirmed the cancellation. Days later customer service emails well, theyre processing it now. Do you still want to cancel? Yes! I told you several days ago to cancel. Nothing back... and I get a shipping notification! They pushed it out the door to avoid the refund! When I got angry, customer service told me just to refuse delivery - trying to dodge the refund. So I waited a week to get it and refused. Then another week. It got to them. Almost another week before they did the refund. I had to file a claim through PayPal!
Now Loot Crate? The first got here late. Both items were hideous. The mystery item was something that Id seen at least two dozen people try to ditch on eBay.
Second shipment - because I thought Id give them one more try? So far its two weeks late. The tracking number provided is actually for my previous order! (I mean, that takes special incompetence.) customer service? Well, I filed with them a week ago and since then have received TWO emails saying how busy they are (BS) and will get to me!
There is no tracking for shipping to Canada. Package is now 3 weeks late and customer service has been slow and frankly, completely useless. Issue still isn't resolved after 8 back and forth messages with them. Shouldn't take this much effort to solve a simple issue - send another one or refund me like most other companies would do. Never buying from them again nor would I reccomend them to anyone.
After waiting 4 weeks for my order to arrive they sent me two of the same size shirts even though I ordered 2 different sizes. Will not be ordering from here again.
Orderd loot for my sons birthday. After cancelling they continued to send the crates and bill my card.

The hole service was bad. The crate was very late and the customer service was horrible. The items in the crate was garbage. I like the franchises of the items. But the items were pure garbage. A small size calendar and a $#*!ty ice cream scoop? Come on. And the digital "epic" item is only available in the U.S. I don't know if they had budgets cuts but last time I got a crate it was way better. I will not recommend this to anyone and I will never buy another lootcrate.
Ordered crate 1th November, shipped around mid of December. Tracking makes no sense and crate remains lost and undelivered. Customer service is not helpful at all, keep telling me to wait and refuse to give me a refund only replacement and wait for it for another month to be processed. This is above everything. I do not recommend at all.
I had a 6 month subscription for my daughter and she asked to have it renewed as one of her Christmas presents. The 6 month subscription she had was to renew January 23 so I hit the upgrade button because they had a sale at the time and I wanted the discount. You would think that would mean that AFTER the 6 month subscription was over that the new one would start. NO... THAT IS NOT THE CASE. I received 2 boxes in December and they changed my renewal date to Dec 5 2018. I am still trying to figure the date out. I emailed customer service and the first response was that they were sorry but I should have waited until my subscription was over. I would receive 2 boxes until my old subscription is over. WHAT? That makes no sense at all. I RENEWED an existing subscription, why would I want duplicate boxes and for the subscription to end a month earlier than it should be? I told them I was not happy with this and the second email told me when I received the box, to refuse it and they would give me credit for it. Ummmm... The first email I sent CLEARLY stated I received 2 boxes. How could I refuse something that I already received and how would I know there was a problem if I did not receive it? I have looked in their terms and nowhere does it state not to renew early. I am sure that they will find another excuse to cheat me so I'm done with Lootcrate after this subscription is over.
I would not have renewed this in the first place but my kid loves getting her surprise box every month even though they are coming later and later and the items are not nearly what they were when we started.
Two of crates did not arrive in the months that they were supposed to, and when I emailed for resolution all I received were poorly scripted emails with no answers. The quality of the crates seems to have gone down while the price is going up. Very very disappointed, and have cancelled my subscription.
Won't shop with them again. Crates were fun at first. More and more have junk we don't need. Customer service is terrible. Loot Crate Vault has leftovers priced nice but I put in a big order on Black Friday and it came 2 days after Christmas! When I'd ask if it was going to make it in time they wouldn't give specifics - we will get most out. They don't seem to know what they're doing.
Ordered from loot vault on 11/23 and was supposed to ship in 5 days p, 3 weeks later still had not shipped. Reached out to Vanessa in customer service multiple times and got multiple stories, never an apology. Its 12/27 still no order and Vanessa says the order cant be cancelled. She is rude and not helpful. Regretting the subscription I purchased for my daughter.
Answer: If you look at the good reviews, they are from 2014. This company has gone way down since then. Now they just take your money and never ship. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business soon.
Answer: What ever you do, go to your bank account close it, and reopen a new one in your name, that literally seems to be the only way for you to escape their stealing scams. Stay AWAY from them!
Answer: Just accept the loss. It will take weeks to even get a response forom customer service and you will end up with an excuse, expense of returning what you have and will either 1) get two more wrong items after several more weeks, 2) never receive the exchange items at all or 3) get a refund if they are threatened with a PayPal claim.
Answer: Do not buy them here. It takes over a month to receive anything. What you receive will be wrong. Customer service takes weeks to respond. Dissatisfied customers are always selling Crate items on eBay. Best it get them that way.
Answer: Don't order it! Other reviewers are saying that once you cancel it auto renews automatically. Cancelling subscriptions seems to be next to impossible!
