Your interlocutors either a) try to squeeze virtual gifts (like for $100 or more) as a pre-condition for continuing message exchange after 5 minutes, or b) don't know where there are on "their own" photos, or playing it smoothly, sucking you in slowly, but again, present on other sites with numerous identities, a bit different bio, different locations. Our affiliate partners make sure that there are no bogus profiles, that the content maker you look at in the profile pictures is the person you are corresponding with (such profiles marked with a check mark next to their name).
Also, we make sure as much as we are able to that the content maker is interested in communication with other members of the platform. We require seeing photo IDs of all our content makers. In case a content maker gives rise to our suspicion, we may take additional steps to verify the profile, such as asking him/her to record an identification video for us. This, of course, makes it much harder for unscrupulous people to create fake accounts.
