Awful site. Avoid linkedin at all costs. Absolutely Disgraceful. You are able to post jobs on there for free. They removed my profile with no evidence provided and I am unable to get it back. I contacted them on Twitter and they have sent me a link to fill in but I doubt the account will be re activated. There appears to be a number of job posted on the platform which are non existent. I received false negative feedback from said companies and when I questioned them about their lies they refuse to reply back to my emails. I posted my experience on linkedin and I believe for that reason they removed my account because these companies got exposed and are unable to provide actual evidence in turn they reported me to LinkedIn. I also have a employment tribunal case against Birmingham City University for unfair dismissal and Racial discrimination.

So I find the people who write trash articles on LINKEDIN and call them out, LINKEDIN finds it cool to delete my account! So I will be a thorn in LinkedIn side from here on out! I'll start a NEW profile and do it all over again... This company protects the trash we see in America. These people can write what they want with no response, I CALL BS. How is politics, my name plus my last initial, and my real companies not a real account? If I want to state the truth about what my store manager did to me, then I get to do so. There are really mean people in this world and the victims get to state the truth and how angry we get about it. I get really tired of being a punching bag for other people. It's why I chose 'activism' for my LinkedIN platform and to show people in oppressed countries to keep fighting against horrific odds. People want to shut them up!
Then, initially I was getting no information from LinkedIN on what was happening and was going in circles trying to access anything and started threatening legal action! I legit think LinkedIN was gaslighting me with Captchas moving around on me so I couldn't rejoin LinkedIN. Because I selected the correct way up and it said I did not. I'm not stupid or blind.
LinkedIn started asking me to type in digits from an authenticator in order to log in. I know my username and password, but still it asks for this. I have Google and Microsoft Authenticators. When I try to add LinkedIn to the authenticators, it says to scan the QR code. When I look up where to find the QR Code, it says to open the app and click on Me at the top. Kinda hard to do that when my problem is I can't log into the app. To get chat or any kind of help, I need to log into the app. The only help for logging in is to reset the password, but I know my password. I have been unable to find any answer in any forum so I can no longer access my account.
I signed up with LinkedIn a while ago and decided to try the premium service and see if would benefit me. After using it for a couple days I decided that the cost wasn't worth the return. Therefore I cancelled it, 6 months later there is a charge of 64.99 to LinkedIn Ireland that I never authorized, and when i contacted them they gave me the runaround. Under the criminal code of Canada to take money without consent is theft and in this case theft under 1000 dollars which is small I agree but it's the principle now.

You can't file a complaint unless you can log in.\You can't log in if they lock you out of your account. If you travel with your laptop and try to work remotely, they lock you out of your account and there is no recourse. It is crazy making. I created an account and was then asked to verify my identity, which I did. Only to be permanently restricted from my account. When I asked why, they refused to tell me. I created a new account and the same thing happened. They refused to unlock my account. For both accounts I literally created the accounts and then logged on once or twice. All information on the accounts is the truth and can be verified. They are now refusing the answer any emails.
To begin with, I had a paid subscription. They sent me an email saying I needed to "update my payment information" or I would lose my "premium" account... Well seeing I did not want to renew, I did not update this info... Somehow they got my new card info and charged me anyway... Now for their content "Script Nazis" If you post or make a comment on a post, that goes against "their agenda narrative" they will "censor" you or even close your account. This will be done even if you "pay" for a premium account... Nope, they do not refund. They have no clear policy, just a bunch of "word stuff", they will interprete the way, they wish. They censor the truth, when it does not fit their narrative... Hey, but you can open a profile be an "Out House CEO" Be Colonel Urinal leading a squad of Commode Commandos. The only time they will require identity verification is when you post or make a comment that goes against the narrative set forth by their "Script Nazis" Funny but they asked for my ID even though I have submitted it before... I'm done with using their so called "service"
I tried to merge two accounts and was told to contact customer support. So I click on the "ME" icon and then "Help", which is supposed to direct me to click "get help from us". However, there is no such icon - it's a dead end. So I look up their customer service phone number (no easy feat), and then when I call, they will NOT ALLOW ME to SPEAK WITH A LIVE AGENT. They keep directing me back to the internet where the problem started to begin with. Seriously guys, this is a first-class job search engine? You have to do better than this!
LinkedIn has become another spot where they violate your 1st amendment rights and they listen to cry babies and then they sit there and restrict your account because there's too many freaking babies out there that like to make comments but can't handle it when someone comments back to them.
A muslim guy named Firaz over LinkedIn openly abused our Prime Minister Narendra Modi by commenting on a post of 15th August speech by Prime Minister. When I reported this on LinkedIn, I got a response that this abusive derogatory comment doesn't go against their community standards on LinkedIn. To the shock I decided to gave a befitting reply to that guy and asked him to leave my country if he didn't like being here and can go to any neighbouring terrorist countries. This is not just one example, there were several post abusing Hindus and Narendra Modi. When I opposed those post, LinkedIn suddenly restricted my account.
But to my surprise they even refused to delete my account and related data they are holding and said until and unless you apologize we will not delete your account. Its like they didn't liked me calling an extremist mentality a terrorist. LinkedIn is now asking for ransom and threating me of not deleting my personal data until I apologise. Their love for terrorist and extremist has evolved to the next level. I will not be surprised if tomorrow linkedin started blocking someone's account because they called Taliban terrorist. Please someone help in getting my data and personal information deleted from LinkedIn.
I have tried using LinkedIn over 50 times and never gotten a call from any of them. Compare to Indeed with an average of 10 of 50 or other sites with similar results? Why is that? Part of it is that they most often force a total rewrite of your resume on third party sites. Partly because LinkedIn's entry area is as bad as most third party companies' that they force you to use. LinkedIn has very limited listings and if you make a change to your options, your history most often gets blown away. So, you lose anything you saved. Or applied to. It is even worse than that, but it would be best, just to shut it down. It is a complete waste of time.
