I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and Lights of Scandanavia. I bought the Lindo light fixture for a new construction project and was surprised to learn that it was shipped directly from China. More importantly, the fixture is not UL certified and is wired to European electrical standards, not U.S. standards.

Lights of Scandinavia stated that this fixture was UL certified; however, the product I received does not have any UL certification label or marking attached. To be absolutely clear: the light I received is not UL certified. Without the required UL marking or sticker, it is neither safe nor legally installable in the United States.

A licensed electrician cannot install a fixture that lacks UL certification, which makes this product unusable for my project. This is a serious misrepresentation and a major disappointment.

Lights of Scandinavia. Licensed building professional could not install it and it violates US building code. The wiring is not up to code, The light fixture canopies are two small for US light box. I provided all the pictures and building code violations to the Company and asked for refund. They refused to refund. It is a total scam. I reported them to credit card, FTC and FBI for fraud. Stay safe.

If you're hesitant to buy lamps online, let me reassure you that LightsofScandinavia is a trustworthy website. I bought a ceiling light, and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The quality is excellent, and I've already received compliments on it.
