I ordered a headlight on April 3rd. It took until May 31st to receive it. Almost 60 days!
All they could ever say was that it was sent by postal mail and it takes time? Be weary and hope that you get what you ordered. I will never ever order anything from them again!

Buyer beware

I purchased a dress in a standard size. It arrived too small and quality was lacking. I contacted them for return and was told I can't. Why? Bc the dress was made to order from my measurements. Fascinating bc I never gave them my measurements! It was NOT a custom dress!

I ordered a hat in plenty of time for a class luncheon. I was waiting and waiting for it to be delivered to my door, so I tracked it and it said it was delivered in my mailbox. It had been crushed and jammed into my rather large mailbox. Even though it said it was crushable, it was ruined and unwearable aesthetically. I tried to fix it to no avail. I was so disappointed. So I wrote a review of one star. I did not call customer service because I didn't want the hassle. Just sucked it up. Imagine my surprise when a new delivery that I had to sign for was delivered by hand to my door today. So I'm changing my review to. Well done customer service. I appreciate your support very much!

I'm solely speaking of the shipping process to the US in this review: 1) make sure you have plenty of time to receive your items because based on my purchasing experiences with this company it takes at least 8 days to leave China and then you have another 7-10 days once your package arrives in the States before it's sent to you and 2) don't bother paying the expedited shipping charges because you won't get your items any faster as the process has to go through customs, etc. Overall, the products I've received from this company have been as described, but just to help manage your expectations it takes several weeks to a month to receive your order regardless of the shipping you choose at check out -My first 2 orders I paid the expedited shipping fees for 2-3 day shipping and it's been 16 days, I haven't received my items and the company is telling me to wait another 10 days!

I purchased a watch from lightinthebox but when it arrived it didn't look like the photo and therr were no instructions. I sent it back next day by standard mail (no tracking) which was the advice given to me by the customer service representive. 7 weeks have gone now and the watch apparently has not arrived in the returns department in Poland. However after speaking to customer service they were extremely helpful and resolved the solution with no fuss. I would thoroughly recommend.

I ordered some leggings from this website last week for a festival i'm going to TOMORROW! I paid £11 for express extradited delivery 3-4 business days, it hasn't come, I have started a ticket and the 'supervisor' sylvia first of all told me to try tracking it - i don't speak chinese so cannot track it on a chinese website, and then when i said it was too late and i wanted a refund as i was missold the item she just stopped replying! Worst company i have ever dealt with and intend to go to trading standards with this first thing tomorrow. I have been more than patient and their customer service is appalling

Hi please take my advise and dont buy nothing from this company! I ordered 5 items and paid £20 express delivery. After trying to trackmy order down it took 3 weeks to arrive. It turned up in a small shoe box size box. And when i opened it up everything was all squashed in and wrinkled but it gets worse. I ordered size8 shoes and received size 6 my shirt i ordered large and received small lol. I couldnt even get my arm in the sleeve. My 2 jackets where even smaller thann the shirt i couldnt even get them on. The clothes look amazing online but are of very poor quality in reality and the stitching is way bad and the shirt is see through. Well that has been my experince so you have all been warned. Happy shopping.

Hello, first I would like to say I typed in lace front wigs & the wigs came up, I purchased four wigs two of them are not lace front so that's false advertising because I noticed after I paid, it said capless wig & I didn't ask for capless I asked for lace so why is capless wigs in the same category as lace! Second I paid for 2-3 days expedited shipping & I ordered on may 20,2017 still have not received my wigs, that's false advertising because light in the box charge all this extra money for shipping, I should receive my order when it says before I purchased wigs not what they say after you paid & it even still say processing but didn't have a problem taking my money fast, so why can't I receive my wigs fast, I am highly upset because I'm in a wedding in a few days & I don't have my wigs, I would have never ordered from this site if I would not have my wigs in 2-3 business days, I'm in total disappointed about this & if I don't receive wigs refund me ASAP, I'm going 2 contact better business bureau, as well as open a case with my card with the fraud department. Light in the box claim they cancelled my order & I'll be refunded & it takes longer for my refund to go back to my account because where it came from, that's a lie again because it's all done electronically that is why I made sure I made copies of everything so that I am able to file a claim against this company because it is not ok to go around scamming people out of there money!

STEAR CLEAR

I ordered two freesat desk top receivers for delivery in France. Only one was in the parcel and the delivery company were demanding 22 euros import tax before the would leave the half delivered item. Told the delivery company to return to sender. Light in the Box not contacted me since and I can't contact these people. Can't get rid of their spam emails sent 2 o3 times a day either. Their help line links don't work. BEWARE AND STEER CLEAR!

We ordered 2 spinners for our boy at the 23rd April. It was debited my card on the 24th of April and confirmed shipped the 27th of April. We paid extra for express shipment with delivery within 5-8 working days.
IT HAS STILL NOT ARRIVED! I complained after almost 2 weeks and their first response was that I ordere it by post. Wrong! And then they offered approx USD 2 in credit on my next order. I told them this wasn't of interest and they gave us 50% saving on the extra shipment cost for express delivery. The tracker on my shipment responded for the first time 21 May and confirmed it was shipped 22 May. Almost a month after i paid for it and they confirmed it was shipped. IT HAS STILL NOT ARRIVED.

I ordered a mother of the bride dress that was described as "chiffon and lace" in the color "regency" but when I recieved the dress the layer of fabric under the lace was bright purple and very shiny, not chiffon at all.
Other than that the dress was beautiful, well made and a perfect fit (I ordered custom size). It would have been beautiful for an evening dress but my daughter's wedding is an outdoor afternoon ceremony.
I sent them pictures and the customer service rep was very apologetic. I was offered 2 options. 1) I could keep the dress and they would reimburse me $20 for my trouble, or 2) return the dress for a full refund.
I returned the dress and was given a full refund (every penny) very quickly.

I was amazed on how low the prices were but the shipping time is terrible I ordered a fidget spinner and it said it would take 5 days to leave the warehouse and it took 2 weeks. But the price was amazing.

The worst company in the world to deal with
Have to pay for customs was not informed of this any time through the ordering process. Unbelievable the trading standards should be made to deal with this company. Should not be allowed to trade at all. Customers should take to social media to voice their disappointment.

I ordered a dress for my graduation, and it still hasn't come. I placed my oeder may 7th, I paid for express 2-3 business day shipping to make sure it was here on time. I tracked my order online said it shipped on May 9th. It is now the 15th and no dress. When I contacted customer service this was their response.

Ordered a clock on 9 april. It was £40 and it said i would reeive it in about 5 days. 3 weeks later no clock. Then i receive a letter saying i had to pay a £25 import tax and customs fee. I wrote to the company and they told me i had to pay it in order to receive it and if i rejected the parcel they would only pay a £20 refund! At this stage i really don't expect to see my £40 again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE BASED IN CHINA AND YOU WILL GET STUNG WITH THIS CHARGE THAT THEY DO NOT MENTION WHEN YOU BUY THE PRODUCT.

This is my second review for an ongoing ticket with LIGHTINTHEBOX!

My ongoing ticket at Lightinthebox is turning into quite a nightmare. Here are the facts:

Bought dresses Boxing day 2016.
Dresses were out of stock and were only delivered in March 2017
Dress size not correct and didn't fit
Promised discount of 50% was not applied due to delayed shipment
Had to return mail to China and spent additional $40 for shipping.
When contacted to followup on shipment status, CSR said cannot process return/ refund as it is beyond the return period, even though it was agreed upon with LIGHTINTHEBOX that delay was at their end and they will process return/ refund
Had to haggle for refund... promised refund back to credit card within next billing
Cycle. It is July 11,2017... my credit card statement shows no refunds.
Was promised the balance shipment (which was in stock and correct size) will be shipped by Jun 22. Not received anything!
-I am so fed up! There is no light at the end of this tunnel. It shouldn't be Lightinthebox... it should be $#*!INTHEBOX!
