I ordered a jacket in an XL (I would normally wear a large) but they advise to order one size larger due to their sizing. I obviously got sent the wrong size as I can't even get my arm in the sleeve, and neither can my niece who is a size 8!
I contacted the so called Customer Service and had to wait 3 days for them to contact me. I have uploaded photos and measurements to them and the last message was that they haven't got proof of measurements!
They sent me the wrong size and now won't take responsibility for it.

I have asked for a refund but are still fighting them. I'll be happy to revoke this comment if my refund is forthcoming.

Do yourselves a favour and DON'T ORDER FROM THIS SITE - THEY ARE A RIP OFF!

I agree with a previous customer - SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN!

Awaiting a refund

So after a week of sending emails back and fourth to customer service worker Tammy I feel I'm finally getting somewhere. I've had to argue my case continuously and it has been extremely stressful BUT! And it's a big BUT I think I might be getting a refund!
I hope I can update again once the money is in my account. Will keep you posted.

My son purchased a 8 man tent. After paying £132 +£20 shipping+ £40 import charges the tent did finally arrive on time ( which yes all sounds positive) the biggest problem is only half the tent has arrived and trying to chase the other half is like getting blood out of a stone. They must sit there laughing every time someone places an order. I've sent numerous e mails and surprise surprise had no reply. I'm hoping the bank will be able to help us.
THIS COMPANY NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN!
Do not buy from them they are robbers!

I paid extra for my products to be shipped. After 1 week they still won't refund my shipping costs and I still don't even have my products purchased. Customer service just continues to ask me nicely to be patient for my products to arrive... They refuse to refund my shipping costs even though my expedited shipping was all a lie since they cant ship from china in 2-3 days... It's been 10 days since order and I still don't have my products!

You sent this reply to my daughter. I applaud you for the prompt reply unlke yr fb messages.

The thing is I HAVE BEEN CONSTANTLY in touch and communicating wit SF every day and they never once say US was a transit depot. Cant u see from the images i attached? They themselves had been trying to communicate with you but to no avail.

How can u be so sure the package can arrive bfore 9th sept? She might do some alterations u never know. What if the package came after the stipulated date?

Mind you she paid more for the shipping and this is what she gets? Why the need to have a depot transit or whatever the hell it is when it can be directed straight to SINGAPORE?!

DO NOT GIVE ME BULL$#*! STORIES!

Although ordered according to their sizing guide i found the items to be at least 3 sizes smaller. After public complaint Customer service were helpful and attended to a replacement immediately. Very grateful for replacement but item just fits. As with most Asian fashion suppliers sizing and body shapes for western women is problematic. If ordering from Asian fashion manufacturers I strongly suggest ordering 3 sizes higher. I am a size 12-14 UK/USA but had to go to XXL still a touch sqeezie.

Rebecca was quite prompt in her action and she has sent me a document as proof of the refund having been made successfully. Only waiting for confirmation from my bank of the debited refund amount. Customer service was polite throughout our interaction and has never kept my tickets of complaints hanging for response. Not half as much as a struggle I expected this entire process to be. All thanks to Rebecca!

Edit 1:
Customer Service Supervisor Rebecca got in touch with me within 24 hours of reporting a ticket about order cancellation, so I'll give them some credit for that. She claims to have started my refund process but I'm still apprehensive because of the rampant bad reviews. Here's hoping I get my due refund within a couple of weeks minus any fraudulence. Upon which I shall surely edit my ratings, as per their request. In the meantime, I still haven't gotten an official e-mail stating that my order has been cancelled. Customer Service, I need some proof about the initiation of my refund process.

I did the stupid mistake of placing an order before reading the reviews. The processing time is way too long for my purpose so I had to cancel the order anyway (well within 24 hours of placing it). Reading the reviews is only making me anxious about what all hassles I have to go through now to get my money back. This is me following public advice and trying to grab their attention so that getting a full refund as promised is less of a battle. Customer Service, please get back to me ASAP about my cancelled order No. **************.

No response from them

I placed an order on 23rd aug which is supposed to ship within 24hrs. But it is 29th today and they are still asking 3-5 working days to ship it. I do not know if I am going to get back my money. Please help me in getting my money back. They closed old ticket and opened a new ticket, saying will ship in 3-5 business days and will refund my shipping charges as token of apology.

Lightinthebox contacted me to resolve the issue and immediately sent a duplicate order. It did come in the amount of time they said. Then at the beginning of August another order showed up. So, I don't know which order was the original and which one was the duplicate sent. Now we have 2 of the same order.

I am not giving them 5 stars because it did take me so long to get the order and I don't know which order was which.! It does seem that they must have some kind of shipping problem because I see from this site that others have had the same problem. Maybe they need to change their delivery time on the website or something. I would much rather be surprised if something came early than disappointed if something arrives much later than expected!

We have email the company on two separate occasion. The first time it said the package would arrive in 11-16 Business days. It was for my son(14). He waited 18 days or so and contacted them. They told him it could take 38-40 days. He then waited about 48 days then contacted them again because he saw according to them that it had arrived at the JFK airport 2 weeks earlier. They then told him it could take up to 60 days we are at 55 days and still nothing. They also told us to contact our local Post office. We contacted them and they said they tracking number is a correct tracking number to track in the US. They told us that is should have an RR or an RE in front of it followed by 6-7 numbers and then 2 more letters. We have nothing like that only the tracking number that came with the order which has 8 numbers. They won't work to track here!
We will contact the company in another week if we still have heard anything! Unbelievable!

I ordered my shoes on 7/12/16 with a delivery date of NLT 8/9/16. When the order didn't come in, I asked the customer service what the problem was. All I got was sorry for the inconvenience and since you didn't pay for expedited shipping it can take up to 40 days to be delivered. So I waited 45 days to be exact and still no delivery. The link to my tracker of shipping says it's been in Jacksonville, FL since 7/29. Today is 8/25 and no update to the status. The customer service told me I have to get with my postal service to find it. WHAT?! Why do I have to search for my box? It's your delivery! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Experience. Don't buy anything from here.

I was a bit uneasy about ordering from this company but I said what the heck and took the chance. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I cancelled the order shortly after I placed it. I cancelled because I realized that although I paid for expeditied shipping the package would not come in time. I cancelled the order, received an email stating the order was cancelled. Then mysteriously the money was NEVER returned to my account and when I emailed customer service(because there is no phone number) I was told that my order has shipped. I emailed the company 2 more times about my refund only to never receive a response. I am left with only one option and that is to put in a dispute with my financial institution.

Ordered LED light strips. Good quality, lightinbox sent package to transshipment company in Ontario, Canada. They reshipped to me and charged me a COD charge after I paid shipping and insurance charges in my original order. I opened A ticket and in last reply they said they would respond in 5 to 7 working days, but after 7 days just closed ticket, no response.Not very trustworthy! 1 Update received refund, now satisfied. I placed my order on July 18th. On July 24th I followed up and received an email that my order would ship on 07/30/17 and would take 6-8 business days. When that passed I contacted them again and was told that it would take up to 28 days and only after that time they would follow up with the carrier company. When that amount of time passed I contacted them again and was now told it could take up to 40 days and bla bla bla like their first email. Don't believe this website regarding delivery times. For the item I bought the processing time was marked at 6-8 business days and then another 6-8 business days for shipping. They lie and try to trick the customer into thinking they will receive it before they actually will. So disappointed with this store!

I should've read the reviews first I thought they were from the USA paid postage for 2 to 3 day shipping and I have not gotten any packages from them and I called the number and they just say they're the packaging place and I can't do anything about it... why can't they take them off of the web... after reading all of these reviews stupid me...

I received my refund

Light in the box asked me to update my review since I got my refund. That's the only update I have to give. I got my money back. I understand now why you canceled my order but when you do not explain your business decisions effectively it looks like a scam job. You still have horrible customer service, poor communication methods and little accountability for your business failures. I will never risk shopping with you again.

8/19/17: I message them because their website would not process my debit card... I found out it was because my financial institution requires that I get permission before completing international transactions.
8/19/17: I get permission from my credit union and the PAYMENT WAS PROCESSED $139.11 from my account.
8/20/17: Marcela from customer service replies to my ticket saying she canceled my order. She gave me no reason why. Does not say that I will get a refund. $139.11 GONE.
8/21/17: I message Marcela and her supervisor about this error. Waiting for a resolution. After reading all these horrible reviews I just want my money back. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. YOU CANCELED MY ORDER AND STILL TOOK MY MONEY. I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP.

Took my money

I paid to have expedited shipping and they did not honor the request, then cancelled my order with out a refund or credit. Do not do business with this site, or be prepared to lose money, very risky. Stick with Amazon.

Deceiving business

Please be aware their clothing comes from China their sizing and quality are very different compared to American made clothing. Read carefully all of the reviews before you order, I learned the hard way and was not able to use my dress which was very disappointing. Lightinthebox did reply by email they would refund half my money by giving them a good review and that was due to my review on Sitejabber. I chose not to take their offer because of thier lies and thier unethical conduct of business. As for the dress I gave it to donation, maybe someone with sewing skills can fix it.
