Items Misdescribed and Poor Quality

I purchased a blouse which was described as XL, which it is not, also as pure cotton and it is a man made nylon type fabric. The manufacture is poor quality there is no overlooking the fabric on the seems.

It is impossible to contact the company and they expect you to pay for the return and will not refund the delivery either. Will never purchase any item from them again.

A total delusion.

Bought a red gothic steampunk coat for 100 € and bust size was 8 cm less than the measure they wrote on their website, making the M size 2 cm lower than the S size... Ruining my plans for a costume party. Absolutely a bad experience.

Un temps très long entre la commande et la livraison ensuite les tailles ne correspondent pas aux normes françaises, un retour? J'attends encore les informations et le formulaire pour le retour (qui semble bien compromis puisque dès la réception de l'article on nous conseille de le garder si cela ne convient pas!)

CHEAP

Cheap material cheaply made.
Had to file a complaint for late delivery to PayPal. Still took so long that PayPal closed the dispute.
Once the sweater was received it was ridiculously cheap
Collar almost didn't exist. Material so light was afraid to wear anywhere in case it ripped
Color was way off of picture
This one is going to the local mission

I wish I could rate it a 0!

Against my better judgment I ordered from this place and using their size chart I ordered 2 sizes larger than what I wear. What was delivered didn't even have a size tag on it and it was no where near an xl for an adult! Contacted customer service and of course they used every excuse under the sun to avoid issuing a refund. Needless to say I am out of $50+

I was so disappointed the dress was nothing like the photo, I sent it to the charity shop! These type of companies need to be closed down, as most of their clothing are misrepresented, just scamming the buyers! Don buy from them! This was a two years ago, but still makes me annoyed.

Stole my money

Received the dress that they said was custom made. That was a lie. Returned the dress paid 70 dollars to return it to china, they said that I would be refunded. Emailed lightin the box several times with no response … now I'm out of 270.00

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I had written a review on their website and miraculously it vanished. My original review was that the clothing looks great online, but when you receive it, you realize that the quality is poor and nothing like the pictures. I tried to return it as it falls under their returnable policy, but they stick it to you twice when their return options are keep the item and get 20% in reward dollars (so you can buy more of their cheap quality merchandise) or keep what you ordered and get 10% refund back OR the icing on the cake is return everything back to China which will cost you more than what it was worth to receive all of your money back. What a joke when Light in the Box (LITB) has a shipping facility in Spring Gardens NY which is where the package came from. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from LITB, its not worth the stress or losing your money over. I should have learned my lesson the first time when I tried to return something and after sending several emails and not hearing from their 'customer service' they said it was already past the return window. So what do we learn as we walk away from this? BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS.

Some helpful advise

Update: Although it took time and much correspondence and persistence the LIB supervisor refunded my money for the purchase (wrong color dress shipped) and my shipping costs for trying to return the item in good faith. I'm encouraged by this and will likely order again. This is how customer service should work.

They provide detailed instructions. You'll spend $60 in shipping to China to return only to have your package come back! They won't respond to your emails or website requests with photos of your damaged/wrong items. If you like what you get (and some of their stuff is good), it's good but if you don't you're HOSED by this company. They'll also say "sorry your ticket was not received; submit another one here and the link is invalid every time"

I bought two onesies with a cost of 100+ dollars. The quality was not what I expected. When I tried to return it they game me this options:

We would like to propose the following offers:
A) Keep the item and receive a reward of 20% of the product's value.
B) Keep the item with a refund of 10% of the product's value.
C) Return the item back for a refund to China paying for the return which can take weeks or months. (this option is only for RETURNABLE items)

Long Story short, I received less than 10 dollars refund.
I wont buy here anything again. If you buy here you will have to keep it even if you are not satisfied with the product.

You get what you pay for.

I wear a lot of hats but had trouble finding one that matched an outfit I had. Found one on Light in the Box. It was cheap so I don't know what I was expecting. The hat arrived in an package envelope so it was crushed & misshapened. The bow was detached but had Velcro to attach. Unfortunately it was the same side Velcro so it doesn't stick. I understand now why there aren't any product reviews on the website.

I was scammed

I purchased a pair of shoes from Lightinthebox but only one arrived. I had to pay the cost of posting it back to China and never heard from them again. They closed my transaction and are now uncontactable with no email or phone number. They are a total scam. If a company rep is reading this contact me.

Very Bad Packaging

I ordered large wall stickers and they came folded, creased, rolled and then bent in half to fit into a tiny box.
I have tried to apply them to the wall but the creases aren't coming out so I am very unhappy with my purchase.

... unless you are 100% certain that you will love the item and that it will fit. It arrived from China and did not fit well. The material was nothing like the photo and the sleeves of the dress were uneven. I cannot return, must keep but they will give me a 40% credit (no thanks, not ordering from here again), or a 30% credit on my cc. How ridiculous. And yes, I did read the Returns policy prior to purchase. Never again.

Don't waste your time

My order has been processing for the past month. They keep telling me I've been made a priority shipment... But 8 days later, still processing... I would ask for a refund but apparently you wait even longer... I've always had better service with Shein... I made an order at the same time with shein, my order came within 2 weeks. And it was a large order... So I will choose Shein over light in the box any day.
