My Update! I made two orders! And first of all their shipping: terrible! Not worth the high price! So don't believe their claim of fast shipping!- a lie! And I got my orders finally! I made my Order not once But twice!- back to Back! Only because I really liked what I saw! Only to get my two Orders!- after waiting longer than I wanted too! Before you purchase note that many purchases will not qualify for a refund. Be sure to look at what's excluded, many dresses are considered custom made and they won't refund if it doesn't fit. In order to return you have to pay postage back to China, but they won't accept the package without a return authorization. Check out the BBB ratings before you buy.
Before my purchase, the delivery time was set to 5-7 days. However, now that I have made the purchase (of over 150€!) the delivery is showing it may take up to a month. I need my items much sooner than that I or I will not be able to use them at all. My order is still showing as processing after 4 days and I am afraid I will not receive my items in time. I have tried contacting customer service but I have not gotten a response. PLEASE I do not want to cancel my order but I will have to if I do not receive a response ASAP!

I do not do reviews but because I thought this merchandiser was the worst I have used, I WANTED TO WARN PEOPLE. I bought (2) pair of pants and each was a different size. They would not allow me to return the pair that did not fit. If that was not bad enough, the items I purchased were not of the quality I expected or wanted. Deleivery took 8-10 weeks and I asked them to cancel my order and they refused. And their customer service is lacking. MY OPINION. I will not be shopping here again.

I love the wall hanging pictures, amazing colours and quality, just like shown on the Pictures. Very good price, so I bought many of them for presents... only long time waiting... It would be nice If more of the dresses and T- Shirts and jackets would be made of Cotton, Natural Material, less electrical uploading and sweating... Me and other customers would buy even more. But thank you for quick writing back, so good customer service in that point.
LightInTheBox reached out quickly. They explained the delay was caused by Chinese New Year. They also help set another ETA (this Friday). Finger cross.
We bought the dress for coming wedding. The website shows 7-10 day processing time. BUT, it is over 30 days since order was placed, and it is still "under processing".
We contacted customer service a few days ago, who told us it will be shipped no later than March 5th. Okay fine, we will wait.
Today is March 6th, the order has NOT been shipped as they promised. Excuse me? Can some one at least let us know the next. Should we wait for a few more days to cancel the order?
Now, the wedding day is approaching, we may have to shop our wedding dress somewhere else. Disappointed.

I wish to advise that although the below comments still reflect my own shopping experience, Customer Service has since reached out to me and refunded the full costs of both dresses, for which I am most thankful. This site has many lovely clothes, and their shipping timeline is fast and tracking information keeps the customer informed as to progress, so provided the purchase is received as ordered, no negative comments would ever apply to any part of the transaction.
I have nothing but bad comments to make about this website. There is no guarantee that your order will be correct, and there is absolutely no co-operation from Customer Service. I ordered a dress size 9/10Y but received a dress size 8/9Y. After totally unsatisfactory interaction with Customer Service, I cut my losses and re-ordered the dress, only to now receive size 5-6Y. I am now out of pocket for 2 dresses and 2 shipping costs. Contacting Customer Service is an absolute waste of time – offers of percentage "reward" on new orders are only valid if "The Total Price for All Products must be over TWICE of the rewards value." Any offer of refund entails the customer paying for return cost of the item even though these repeated mistakes are ALL THE FAULT OF THE COMPANY and its shoddy despatch department.

I ordered a xl trench coat street jacket that took forever to arrive and when I received it, I opened a plastic bag to find the ugliest cheapest jacket that I've seen in my life, it doesn't even look like the pictures on the site. The jacket was way, way too small yet it was marked as XL. Stay the hell away from this site! Don't get ripped of like I did, I'm really sorry I did not check the reviews on this site before I ordered from LightTheBox.

Light in the Box is a JOKE! I bought a dress, checking the return policy before hand to be sure I could get a refund, received the dress and the quality was junk. Tried to return it, it was a whole process, we had to upload photos, a ton of back and forth correspondence, it ended up that the $30 dress was going to be $29 to ship back. Light in the Box said we may not even get a refund, they would determine this upon inspection. Not wanting to risk losing an additional $29, we decided to keep for a partial refund, they ended up giving us $9 store credit. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Stick with well known reputable places!

Do not expect anything from them. I do not recommend this online store because they told me "7days" delivery. It is 20, and I received an email saying that the order could not be sent. The order was for about 190 dollars, and I expected the order because I have my son's weeding.

The items were of absolutely terrible quality. The size was all over the place, the shape of the cardigan and top were completely weird, and the waistline on the shorts were so out of shape that I'm not sure what words to use to describe it.
At my attempt to refund the items, I had to make a choice between posting them back and paying for the postage, or settling for a low cash refund. Either way, I lost a fair bit of money, while the company cashed in. This business model is very questionable, and the crappiness of the items was t questioned. It's like they know exactly what they're doing, which is a scam.

The clothes are very cheaply made. I just received a dress I ordered. It is nothing like the picture. The fabric is different and very cheap. I have tried going on their site to find out how to return my item. The site is very complicated and does not respond. Also, they do not send a return label, so you have to pay yourself.
I will never purchase from them again.

This product doesn't look like on the photo. Doesn't fit and overall looks terrible. I wanted to return it immediately but realized that it was almost impossible.
At the help center, they said I need to ship it back to China and I need to be responsible for shipment which costs more than this product!

CHINESE COMPANY, RIP OFF! I purchased two items from Light in Thé Box and thé two items I received (linen Dress and white Culots!). The dress fabric was see through and thé culots were polyester, paper thin and just plain awful. I requested a return label and they are telling me that thé items had to be returned within 7 days of receipt. As I was on vacation until March 2nd, thé return time had come and gone! It took over a month to get thé items, which resulted in me being out of the country when they finally arrived. I have been going back and forth with them via email and they are willing to give me $3 for each item. The audacity of them to not want to return thé full amount. It would appear that this is their MO. They send you junk and then want to negotiate how much money they are willing to refund you. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! Buy Canadian or US!

They stiffed me out of $151.00--never sent the products. I am filing with the US Attorney General and the US Inspector General as they should not be allowed to sell in this country. They take your money and send nothing! I requested a refund several times and they did not refund me. At one point, they said they cancelled my order and still did not refund me. In fact, some of us are trying to get together a class action suit.

I ordered two items that were advertised as "sweaters" from Lightinthe Box. When I got the items (in a timely fashion) I was very disappointed because they were thin tops not "sweaters" at all! I spent $69.00. The company offered me 3 options--a)keep item $30 rewards b) keep item and get a refund of $25 c) return item to a Chinese address for a full refund. To return the items it would cost me more than the items are worth as they want a tracking number ($70). I am in Canada and the site advertises as Canadian however there is no warehouse in Canada so I'm not sure why they advertise this. I certainly will never order from this company again it's much more hassle than its's worth. Not only that but one of the tops came and was missing material at the neckline--like someone forgot to finish sewing the garment Unfortunately I can't post pictures.
March 16,2022----Lightinthebox has returned my money to my credit card but it wasn't until I finally, after 3 weeks of communicating with them and getting the same answers and posting a bad review. Did they refund this money. Much too much hassle to use their site again.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
