I am very pleased with this website amd plan to visit when I am ready to start the process.

I wish you would have a drop box area like this so I could explain more of my situation. I DON'T have a typical 2nd mortgage, but a "Girl Friend" Promisorry note that I thought I had paid up, and the lender couldn't find her papers and went ahead and tried to take my home from me and all I could do was Chapter 13. I am almost out of it, It will hopefully end early, but has been a nightmare. I was working and had a good income all along, but she had an expensive attorney and tried to hurt me. It's a long story, but almost over. I am basically paying her twice in my mind, so need approx. $40,000 at the close of my Chapter 13 or I could possibly lose my home, which is a family home, but has a grandmother's apartment attached to it which I rent for 20 years to a dear man who would be devasted to leave. There are many moving parts as I also have balloon payment at the end which I tried to add on due to me modifying the loan back in 2012. (MY actual monthly payment is only $1100 dollars a month and I have NOT missed my payments here in 20 years! Would love to talk to someone, but yes, there is lots of equity in my home and I'm still working at 70! So, I ONLY did the Chapter 13 as she was trying to hurt me and I did what I could quickly to 'save' my home!

I expected more details. Just a referral so call a lender is not real helpful

Not a good idea to call at 5 a.m. Well, you say I just be up yet at 5 a.m..but we just got rip andare heading straight back from an overseas to bedd now so doon;t have sales people return middle of thenight messages unti the next dday at the very minimum.
