I ordered a Tanzanian zipper plant, and it came with no pups. All the photos on the listing showed a plant with pups. I am very disappointed, as I spent HOURS looking at plants and chose this site because of the pups that were shown. I could have bought from others, but ordered this one for the above reasons. Won't do business with again.
I'm disappointed, got succulents totally different than what I ordered. Emails with no response. Bad customers services. The first 2 photos is what I received. The bottom 2 is what I ordered.
They sent me the worst looking Lithops I've ever seen in my life. Then they argued with me that there were fine and wouldn't provide a refund. Buyer beware!
Leaf and Clay should stick to succulents. Many of my purchases were 4 and 5 stars because the plants are robust. Recently L&C has ventured into tropicals. I bought a little Alocasia. It would have been fine, but it came from somewhere else. It was over watered, packaged poorly, and in the UPS system for over a week. It was stinky and root rotted upon delivery. So sad. Beware of buying their tropicals. They need more experience learning from their mistakes. I will be taking a break. There are several other companies that do a great job.
The overall plants looked very well and healthy. But when I received the small jewelry sized box, I did feel a bit alarmed knowing there were two plants in there. After opening it I noticed they sent the plants bare roots with no pot or soil. My disappointment lay in the fact that it couldn't have cost much money for them to put them in a small pot with a bit of soil. It took over a week for me to get the product after they shipped it, so leaving the roots bare for that long is concerning. The cost for a tiny plant like this and then large shipping cost for something that weighed less that an emery board really disappointed me. I will continue to view their site just to get info on the plants but I strongly doubt I will ever order another product from them.
If your a real succulent lover this site will interest you they have many cool types, they mail there plants - Bare roots not in small pots, just let them sit in a bowl of water for a few minutes when they arrive in the mail, they are strong plants,
