I don't know if the new battery computer chip had anything to do with it but Google Chrome will no longer work on the computer.
The first battery that came was defective. I called and they sent me a new one which works fine along with a mailer to send the defective one back. The new one is fine and I'm satisfied.

The battery would not recharge. I followed all the instructions. Still continued to receive a message saying the battery was not recognized and to call Dell to order the correct battery. I contacted laptop battery express and talked to a very helpful representative. He has arranged for me to send this battery back and receive a new battery.
So far, so good - very quick and easy.
Shipping was very fast...other than that, I was not satisfied. I typed in the brand and model number of my laptop and was matched up with a battery and charger. It looked, from the picture, that I would receive and actual Asus battery, but I did not. I received a no-name battery. After "conditioning" it according to directions, I get about one hour use from a full charge. The power cord on the charger is very short, and the connection into the laptop is not secure. These items are no different than the cheaper ones I have previously purchased from Amazon. I would not pay the high price for these items from this company again.
So far so good. Just need the rest of process to be smooth! Thanks!

The last time I tried ordering a battery from an aftermarket supplier, I tried two different vendors and neither worked in my Sony VAIO. I had to buy it from Sony. With this vendor, the battery arrived quickly, it worked in my Sony and the price was about 60% of what I paid for the Sony battery last time.
