Extra weight and extending protrusion makes the battery prone to falling out of the battery well, causing the system to shutdown improperly. So far, I haven't found any file corruption due to this, but I will be seeking a solution to keep this from happening.
Your Search could not find your battery from "HP Pavilion dv7-1127cl". Try it. Google could. After I selected the battery I wanted and ordered it I could not find how to check out. Finally found your tiny "View Cart" in the border of screen. After all these problems, entering my credit card information took about 4 attempts before I managed to do it to your satisfaction. So, congratulations.
