Every experience I have had at LabCorp has been negative. I have waited over an hour. Most recently, my wife had a lab test that she has had many times before. MediCare has always covered it. They had her sign some form that questioned payment. Well, I got a bill for $366! With a call, they "discounted" this by 20%. I should have had to pay nothing but I didn't want a negative credit report item. I WILL NEVER USE LABCORP AGAIN! Look at the other reviews: mostly negative.
TERRIBLE. Had a simple CRP test... it's been seven weeks and no results, no callback after 6 left voicemails, and no response to three: contact us" emails.
Would have given ZERO stars if possible!
Just wanted to say I went to the labcorp at 108th ave and Mcdowell in Avondale, Az. I got there at 6:30 am, they open at 7am, there were 6 people in line before me. Before they opened though, a lady came out and took our lab orders inside, which made it even faster. Once inside you registered on a computer that you were there. I was called back in about 10 minutes or so, very quickly. The tech Elizabeth was the one who drew my blood, very personable and very nice lady. I have to say I have had hundreds of blood draws because of Cancer and I have lots of scar tissue so normally a blood draw hurts quite a bit. I was actually waiting for the stick and Elizabeth said all done. This was the best blood draw I have ever had, I never felt one thing at all. Elizabeth is the best and hope you can pass the kudo's on to her, she deserves all of that and a raise also. Thanks. Dave S.
I waited for an hour and a half for the front desk staff to tell me that their kiosk didn't check me in correctly but instead of taking me next Given the technological error, he made me wait another half hour while treating me like crap ignoring me and acting as though I was invisible and rudely refusing to tell me how much longer Or when I would actually go
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go.
I went to get some bloodwork sent to my doctor and I was stuck in the waiting room for 50 MINUTES! There was only two people working in that room and one seemed very ill. I don't care if there's a pandemic going on, I shouldn't be in the waiting room for an hour! I had other things to do that day and I fell behind schedule just for simple bloodwork.
I had a appointment time for 10:45 am made a week before. Arrived early to see four people waiting outside in misty rain. In the waiting room I counted between 12 and 14 people while I was waiting. No one was at front desk, I checked in using the kiosk. Sign read no more than 11 people in waiting room due to COVID, no one monitoring room nor telling anyone how long the waiting time was. A person did tell us on the way out it was a 2 hour wait. One lady had been waiting over a hour with not one conversation or contact with a LabCorp employee. Very poorly run. Get your test done somewhere other than the FAYETTEVILLE GA office. The office across the street from the Fayetteville Piedmont Hospital.
We made appointments on line and get there. Put our memes in the device and 2 hours later were seen after numerous attempts to let them know we had appointments they do not honor them at all.
Why can't they answer the phone? Why can't they have decent employees with decent dispositions? I don't expect a lot, but human decency would be nice. The lab at St. Joseph's hospital in St. Charles Missouri doesn't care one bit about patients. I wish zero rating was an option.
Considering most use this on-site lab for employment required drug screening involving urine tests in person.
Having an appointment time should have you taking that test within 15 mins of the time.
Making you wait 50 minutes past your appointment time to take the urine test (while you have already been holding it in for a bit), coupled with keeping the a/c so cold and your holding it in... is extremely inconsiderate and a bit sadistic. Do they not realize the discomfort and for some people the pain this causes?
Please review your appointmeny and procedures to be more considerate
Long wait to get tested. Then the results were never sent to my Doctor's office for over a week. I probably spent a total of five hours total to get the results. First problem was Lab Corp's telephone dialog was so difficult to navigate. No way to talk to Customer Service. Finally resolved the issue 7 days later after finally spending over an hour navigating through several people to download a copy of the results, which they never would send to my DR Office by email... because of not FAX. Then I emailed it to my DR. Final resolution; 1. Contacted Billing and they said I to get Results Copy I had to go online. That required about 30 minutes to register and print. But a hangup in the navigation gave we an opportunity to talk for the first rime to a Customer Service person, who was finally helpful to send the result to my computer. If LabCorp had telephone prompt on my first call, it would have saved me hours of frustration. Everything is computerized. When you enter the office... you can talk to someone, maybe... but that position was vacant most of the time. There was one there luckily when I arrived, who advised me to sign-in on one of several "sign-in stations and the wait would be up to 25 minutes. (I had used this place before without a long wait) But this time it took 55 minutes after the sign in... only 30 minutes longer that estimated. During the last week only one of five telephone calls was answered. The others took too long to leave a message... which was never returned. Last time I will use Lab Corp!
Went to the Foley AL location at 1 pm, signs in and waited for one hour while the only person working the whole place, took care of 2 people! When my turn came, she notified me that I did not have an aptmnt so was to wait as a walk in! While I u detest and that, why could she not place a notice abt walks in and let the customer decide if they want to wait or not! I have end stage 4 ckd and very very ill! Frozen to death there waiting jut to be told that... ups, you a walk in and I am running behind as it is! Just very unprofessional and rude! Will NEVER walk in that location again! I had so many mistakes done there already with my lab work, and this just closed the deal for me! The lotion in Fairhope is amazing and I will drive the extra miles for it or will change and try Quest instead! Not to mention the nurse could not even recognize an order! She would tell me is not an order and I would tell her yes it is! And when she took the time to actually read it... it was! What a joke!
The technician did not draw enough blood to perform all the tests that were ordered by my doctor. Sounds like a joke but this really happened. So I'll be headed to Quest to complete the bloodwork. Smh
Got a bill for 245.00 from labcorp for thyroid test with no insurance. They gave me a discount which made it about 180.00. Seems great right? Had follow up bloodwork at sonora quest for exact same thing. My bill was 65.00 without insurance or a discount. Not 165.00 but 65.00. Labcorp said they could help reduce my bill if I had been affected by covid however no other illnesses qualified. I feel like this type billing should be fraudulent. I will tell my family, friends, co workers and anyone I meet to check out sonora quest. I'll never use labcorp again.
Top notch professional service. Joyce located at the Thornton CO 120th & Colorado location very professional and has a great bed side manner.
Lab Corp is easy and convenient
My Med Provider tried to fax lab orders for routine bloodwork to a LabCorp location in Elyria, Oh.
When this presented problems, I tried to contact them to see if there was some other way to get the orders to them.
The only way to get a live person, is to lie and declare yourself (via the phone options) to be a Provider.
Twice I spoke to their "Customer Service" Rep, and was promised a callback.
I also left multiple VM's at the Elyria location, and did not receive call backs.
I have been using LabCorp for several years, but I am DONE WITH THEM NOW!
Now I work in health care also (phlebotomy) we are the only ones in here and waited 30 mins already! I just don't understand it! What's the problem?
SO MANY ISSUES THAT I WOULD'NT BOTHER TO ENUMERATE. When I got what I thought was a code there was an attachment which would not open NO CODE. I actually got a person she knew nothing of attachments. Password continually rejected. Would not accept. Html documents in what I thought was there PISSED app. Told me my name which is 6 letters needed at least 2. Consequently no review. Somebody is trying real hard to keep there job.
I waited over an hour and was told my appointment didn't matter, and that they don't even see the set appointment. You're taken in line as a walk-in. I would have budgeted more time if that was the case!
Absolutely disgustingly rude receptionist/collector. And when I pushed back, she threw me out! The most terrible lab I have ever been to. The most terrible business I have ever been to. Absolutely never go to this lab. I will now plan on going to quest.
My physican usually has an in house technician do my testing, lapcorp only provides me with my results on the app. The only times I've actually needed to go into their offices is when I got to experience their horrible customer service, and lack of knowledge from their technicians. I do have to point out that the african american lady in the San Bernardino, Ca office is beyond rude, I don't know how she's still employed there. Results for Covid have also taken an extensive amount of time to get processed. I've been waiting for over 3 weeks with no work awaitimg the final report tonreturn to work. I'm unable to get any answer, although I've submitted requests via email and phone as they instructed to have someone conta t me. Still waiting on a response. Unfortunately it's been all bad experiences for me.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
