I tried out LA Date for a couple weeks and came to the conclusion that it IS a scam. The profiles are fake with employees communicating with you somewhere in the third World acting as the profile person. It is much more expensive for men, Why? Also, I noticed many similarities with each profile of obvious prompts to do certain things that cost you more money. Why would a profile member try to get someone to spend money on the site instead of trying to meet up? You will never be able to move a conversation outside of the site to chat or email because they are conning you to milk your wallet empty thus forcing you to spend money talking to a fake profile which is being ran by multiple employees somewhere in the World but they sure are NOT who the are trying to represent themselves as. Also, I got the same story narrative from multiple different profiles of women. How could they have ALL been teased by their families for eating too much chocolate? Seriously. This is a straight up con and if you are a smart individual you will see through this con immediately and seek communication with someone who is actually looking to date. I can't stress it enough. It's FAKE and so are the profiles. You are probably chatting with a guy in India.
