Formerly with the Wasington Post, Brian Krebs has, I believe, one of the better security type blogs available. Written in plain, easy to understand English, he covers everything from 'Money Mule Scam jobs' to the latest updates you need on your operating system to help stay safe.
You don't need to be a 'techie' to find the info on his site informative & useful.
