First, their app is garbage. But I tried is for the 30% new customer discount. Yeah. Went to the checkout and Klarna said I would get a $15 discount but it didn't reflect in the final total or their payment schedule. Nowhere. I then wasted 30 minutes with a customer service rep whose answer was to just trust them - make the purchase and the discount would PROBABLY show up later. If I'm doing the checkout through their app, why isn't the discount transparent and obvious? Not to mention that the seller has a policy of not allowing changes or cancellation after you finalize. The items were final sale- can't return them. So that purchase is irreversible for me. But she pushed and pushed for me to "just trust" them. No guarantee, though. Just a probably with zero understanding that this made a difference. Then I was "transferred" to a "specialist" where it said there were longer wait times. And I waited. And waited. And I learned when I checked back that "longer wait times" MEANT 1-2 DAYS. Hey, it's only people's money, right? Meanwhile I list the shipping deal and some of the prices so the seller lost the sale completely. So, don't do it. It's awful. And that discount was especially for new customers! Can you imagine?
Purchased item using Klarna to pay for it. Issues with purchase and returned it. Seller disappeared. Klarna obstructive in helping me with refund. Very poor customer service.
Would not advise using them.
As of this week they now want full access to my bank account. Not happening! These guys went way too far with this. Tracking my personal info? I don't like the big brother monitoring crap. I'm done.
I bought a Helix bed and blanket. The bed was defective so I returned the original and the replacement also as defective which both were. Helix gave a return to Klarna for the bed but not the blanket that I kept. The blanket was $94.44. I made 2 payments on the total purchase of $210.16. I get a response from Klarna telling me since Helix did not refund the entire purchase meaning since I kept the blanket. They are choosing to keep the entire $210.16 I paid. They had already sent me an email telling me they were going to refund all payments I paid since the bed was defective. But they would not and will not. They told me I had to pay for the total interest that had accrued on the loan. What is unfair is I should not be made to pay for any interest on a defective bed. This company is absolutely deceptive. Buyer beware when dealing with this company. If you can go with another company DO IT! I wish I had known before dealing with this company what deceptive practices they have.
A few months ago I made a pretty big order on Shein and decided to use klarnas pay in four option. It is now been 2 months since the items will return to Shane's successfully and have gotten several confirmations from them saying they have received the item but Klarna keeps trying to charge me for the final payment, I was actually told the final two payments would be canceled as I had paid enough for the order but they still charged me for the third payment and are trying to charge me for the 4th. I'm now out about $60 for clothes I don't have so in the future I will use a different pay in 4 option
Klara is going into my personal account charging me fr an order I canceled and proved it to them its just illegal. I have to close my bank card after 20 attempts to contact them. I was told 245 minute wait to talk to a live person.
I try to use Klarna to purchase some article in Banggood. Manage till the point when Klarna requested to login to my bank account via Klarna site without description any payment options. I could not believe to this, i. E. Klarna requested access to my bank account without any statement/obligation from their side. I tried this few times with the same output. I got very unsafe feeling and did not proceed further. I know that will never used is and I do not suggest it anyone.
Thanks to klarna now we can make a purchase from most of the online shops and pay later. This is just what most of us needed, no more waiting for month ends..
So, I have 2 paid orders with Klarna. For some reason, even though Walmart sends all their stuff out in multiple packages, Klarna will split the payments that you make into 2, basically 8 payments instead of 4. I have brought this up several times but they don't seem to care. This is VERY misleading when their terms clearly say 4 payments, not 8. Another problem I have is there is no way to make a payment early. Your only options are to wait til the exact due date of your next payment or to pay it off early but still results in 2 payments, instead of 1. They need to report problems and not just brush you off when you report it to them
