I am based in the United States and had a disappointing experience with Kalki Fashion regarding a returned order and a refund that has now been pending for more than four months.
The item was returned with the original tags and was only tried on briefly. After initiating the return, I followed up multiple times with customer support regarding the refund. Each time I was told that the issue was being checked by the "concerned team" and that I would receive an update.
After four months of repeated follow-ups, I was finally told for the first time that the refund could not be processed because the pants allegedly had a "small tear." This is the first time such a claim has been mentioned, despite multiple earlier conversations about the refund.
If there had been any issue with the returned product, it should have been communicated immediately when the item was received and inspected. Instead, the product was kept by the company while the refund continued to be delayed without explanation.
As an international customer, this experience has been extremely frustrating. At this point the company has both the returned product and the payment, which is not an acceptable way to handle a return.
Buyers outside India should be aware that resolving refund issues may be difficult and take months.
I hope Kalki Fashion reviews this case properly and resolves the matter by issuing the refund.
I had an awful experience ordering from Kalki Fashion. The sari I received was unwearable — the material was extremely poor quality, already fraying and falling apart. The blouse was nothing like the picture online; it was completely different, cheaply made, and honestly hideous. On top of that, they sneak in hidden tariff/customs charges that you only discover after you've paid and your order is already en route. This is extremely misleading and unfair to customers. When I reached out for help, their customer service was terrible — dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to take any responsibility. Overall, this company feels dishonest and the products are substandard. Save yourself the frustration, money, and disappointment — shop elsewhere. I have had great experiences with Kynah, Pernia and Lashkaraa.
Sent me wrong size, later agreed to exchange that for $20. But when I sent back the wrong item, they refused to exchange it and refunded me the money after deducting $20. They charged this $20 for something they did not even deliver to me. And they are not refunding me the amount now. Fraud people. Nobody should buy from them.
Nothing seems more overwhelming and grand after viewing few of the bridal collection and party wear for women that are displayed on the online gallery of Kalkifashion.com. I was literally awestruck to see the intricate craftsmanship that was evident in the saree and blouse designs as well as in the kurtis, lehengas and salwar kameez that are beautifully handmade to perfection.
Never have witnessed such a flurry of designs and riot of colours when I went shopping for my bridal wear. The latest design, embroidery work and the overall execution was flawless when it came to bridal gowns, lehengas and designer sarees. Kalkifashion changed my perception of grandeur, class and sophistication when shopping for ethnic bridal collection.
