I was recently considering purchasing more silver bars from jm bullion considering the spot price was so low due to the current pandemic going around the world. Well, low and behold I went to jm bullion and saw that their prices were far above the spot price as quoted on the stock market. Their explanation was that demand is high and supply is low... does that mean silver has the corona virus? Does our silver come from China? Profit is one thing, and I realize profit is necessary to stay in business, but such a high profit margin in such a time as this seems like price gouging. For instance, if toilet paper normally sells for $. 50 a roll, respectively, and a store/person is trying to sell it for $5.00 a roll that is considered price gouging which is illegal. Why should precious metals be different? I checked other precious metal suppliers and their prices reflect that of jm bullion, so I'm thinking it is an industry wide conspiracy. My point is, if one were to pay these prices, one would never realize a profit on their investment unless a financial crisis the likes we have never seen occurs. If that happens there would be nothing to purchase with one's hoard of precious metal anyway. Bottom line, I will not be buying more precious metals in the near future. The point is a profit on investment. I do not see that at current asking prices.
So far, I am very satisfied with JM Bullion. I received my order without any headache and the product was in perfect condition.
I placed my order on Wednesday afternoon and my shipment arrived in good condition on Friday. I can't ask for better than that!
Needs to be handled with extreme care. My silver was damaged, and not in uncirculated condition. I paid for gem uncerlated condition but it was not. Please contact me about this matter. I buy a lot of silver from JM. In the future if my coins keep comming this unwanted condition I will have no choice but to switch to apmex.
