Hands down the worst retail experience I've ever had. I've received damaged shoes multiple times, and every replacement process has been a complete headache. I was even overcharged during returns and given misleading information more than once. Truly disappointing customer service and a company I'll never shop with again.
Can't get a hold of customer support on the phone or email. The store says all issues must be resolved by phone. Been on hold for 48 minutes now and 25 minutes two weeks ago before having to get off the phone
Terrible, ordered canceled without reason, no email, call 5 fives waited on hold each time to never have anyone pick up! This is awful!
My daughter went to JD Sports in Beachwood, OH to buy a pair of Nike Air Max 90 tennis shoes and they didn't have her size so she asked if they could send her the size she needed. She confirmed with the Associate several times that the size would be correct. When she received her order, the associate ordered the same size she had tried on in the store. Very incompetent that the associate did not place the correct size for the order after my daughter asked several times that the size would be correct. The following day after she received her order, seeing that the Beachwood location incorrectly placed her order, I went to the Mentor, OH location to exchange them for the size she needed. I took both the tennis shoes in the Nike shoebox and the shipping box it came in. I explained to the store associate, Joey, that my daughter just received the shoes yesterday and she tried one on shoe and it was the wrong size. They sent her the same size she tried on in the store, so she wanted to exchange them for the correct size. He proceeded to examine the shoes like they were a piece of fine art and told me that they were "very worn" and continued to argue with me that they were "very worn"! I was completely taken back and somewhat insulted by this and told him that that is how we received the shoes, box a little damaged, no tissue paper between the shoes, so that is not my issue because once again that is how we received them. I let him know they were delivered while my daughter was at work, and that when she got home at 5, she tried on the one shoe and put it back in the box because it was small. She was home the whole evening so she couldn't have possibly "worn" the shoes, especially since they were small on her. They were also all white, so if they would have been "very worn" then the whites of the shoes would have been dirty and looked "very worn" as well, which they weren't. I don't have enough hours in my day to deal with incompetencies like this. I told him that I wanted to have them exchanged, he scanned the box and told the associate to bring the correct size out from the back. The box he brought out only had one shoe in it, and they proceeded to look for the other shoe on the sales floor. Go figure, they were unable to find the missing shoe in the correct size. So I had mentioned if it could be shipped to us instead, and he said yes. As he is putting in the information, he proceeds to tell me that I owe nine dollars and change, and I told him I was not going to pay for anything because they sent the wrong shoe. He said the shoes were purchased during the tax free holiday, and that I would have to pay the tax, and I flat out told him I was not going to pay for anything because it is not my fault that they sent out the wrong shoes. He proceeded to put his hands to his face as he seemed irritated and frustrated with my not agreeing to pay any additional monies. At this point Jodi, not sure if she was a manager or not, stepped in to take over. She completed the transaction and I double checked to make sure that the correct size was ordered and left the store. I will never step foot in a JD Sports store ever again! They are rude and send you worn merchandise that they give you a hard time to exchange or return! After reading the other 1 star reviews, I see we aren't the only ones experiencing the same issues. Avoid this store at all costs!
Worst retail company I have ever dealt with. Sent damaged/defect shoes numerous times. Nightmare trying to replace. Have been overcharged while doing returns & have been outright lied to on numerous occasions. Pitiful excuse for a company.
Do not purchase anything from JD Sports online. I have had so much stress trying to resolve my issue and in the end they just fobbed me off. I returned 4 trainers that I purchased online in the same sealed bag via their returns label. However after weeks of waiting they only refunded part of the money. They are stating they only received 2 out of the 4 trainers. I'm owed £250 from them but they are refusing to pay out! Someone has obviously tampered with the package and removed two boxes. However it is my word against theirs, eventhough I sent them photos from the cctv showing the very large package being collected. The way this has been handled is completely unprofessional and careless. I will never shop with them ever again. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. NEVER RETURN VIA COURIER - ALWAYS IN STORE. EVEN BETTER SHOP ELSEWHERE!

I ordered my sneakers on 12/28/24 and just received them 1/8/24. After waiting for so long these idiots put two different sizes in the box.
I placed an order online on 12-14 and paid for expedited delivery. I received several emails and text messages my packages were being delivered. I Never Received my order or refund. I called serveral times being on hold each time 14-16 mins for the phone to hang up without helping me. I finally started to email them requesting a refund. I have over 5 emails from different representatives assuring me a refund would be sent in 1-3 days it has now been 9 business days and I still don't have not received my order or my refund. This order was for my children for children for items they really wanted. This caused me to break promises to my children for Christmas and figure something else out. My experience was the absolute worst and will never order from this company!
Purchased sneakers for my son for Christmas I brought him with me to try them on, we went home wrapped the box and put under tree... 12/26 my son wanted to exchange for a different shoe so went back to the store at which time an associate sniffed the shoe and inspected it for 10 minutes and exclaimed they are used there is sock lint and dog hair on them. I went back to speak with manager he again told me nothing he could do and then bragged in front of all the teenage cashiers that he doesn't need my business they make plant of money.

They are irresponsible, they cancel your online orders and then they don't give you any problems to return your money. They are thieves.
Ordered 2 pairs of trainers for my grandson Christmas beginning of December, I got a message on 2nd December saying my order was delayed with DPD and they'd let me know when I could expect it, I kept checking but no updates. Today I called as its Christmas next week only to be told that my parcel is lost and they could only now offer me a refund, I tried to reorder on their site but the sizes I need are out of stock. I'm frantically trying to purchase the items elsewhere but now can't get them in time for Christmas, JD should be ashamed of themselves as if I'd not called no one would of bothered to let me know, I'll never buy from them again
I recently placed an order with JD Canada for three items, and unfortunately, the products I received were entirely incorrect. It is evident that there was no quality control or order verification prior to shipping. I am disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, especially considering the reputation of JD Sports.
The order was a straightforward purchase of a tracksuit and a pair of shoes, yet the tracksuit arrived without the jacket and the shoes were completely different from what I had ordered. To make matters worse, there was no proactive effort from your team to resolve the issue. Instead, I was offered a quick refund with no regard for the inconvenience caused, especially this close to Christmas.
As a loyal customer of JD Sports in England for nearly 20 years, I have never encountered such poor service and unprofessionalism. I strongly urge you to address these operational shortcomings and reconsider your staff training and management practices. The level of service I have received falls far below the standard I have come to expect from your brand, and it is deeply disappointing.
It is my first time having problems with JD. I ordered several times, and I am extremely disappointed with how my situation has been handled.
I ordered 2 items a month ago and I received just one, I called them and I was told that I have to pick it up from the store but I don't recall choosing this option. I went to the shop and my order wasn't there, they told me they will call me but they never did. I called them again and I was told someone picked it up from the store and I will be refunded. It's been weeks and I still didn't get no refund.
Order incorrectly delivered by JD, returned the same day. Now 3.5 weeks later, no money has been returned and they refer to the payment provider. What bad service
Bought some 95 trainers from JD, but took them back due to a fault with the trainers, after 28 days I am still waiting for my replacement trainers or money back, no response from the company, rude manager, avoid this store the good days are long gone for this chain of stores, just a rip-off now with no focus on the customer, just focused on selling 2nd rate sportswear
Received shoes in wrong size and damaged box, called customer care and told them they told me to follow the instructions. Took back to post and had to pay twice. The post returned it but put stickers on box and refund cannot be issued. Ridiculous that's your carrier
You think you are ordering from a shop in nz...then get delays cos they are shipping in from australia and UK...im going to click and collect at Rebel sport next time,,,,
Bought a football online for next day deliver, even after four days no show up of product.
When called they said item is out of stock. Neither they informed me nor they refunded my money.
Never buy from JD sports online. I got an email saying item was despatched which is not true. On the phone after four days their customer service confirmed since there is no stock available so we couldn't sent it.
I PLACED AN ORDER ON 6-10-24 TO BE DELIVERED BY THE 17TH, I CALLED AND CALLED CHECKED AND CHECKED THE STATUS OF THE ORDER AND IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN PACKAGED OR DELIVERED, I CALLED AGAIN ON THE 18TH AND THE COMPANY STATED THEY RESENT THE SHOE OUT, STILL AFTER THREE DAYS STILL DID NOT RECIEVE THE SHOE, FINALLY I CALLED AND THE LADY I SPOKE WITH LISA CARTER AND SHE HELPED ME FIND A STORE WHERE I WAS ABLE TO PICK UP THE SHOE AT A LOCATION, AS I EXPLAIND TO THE REP'S, THESE SHOES WERE A FATHER'S DAY GIFT, THEIR SERVICE WAS POOR IN HELPING ME WITH WHEN AND WHERE THE SHOES WERE IN TRANSIT, I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH JD SPORTS AGAIN, I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY WAY THEY COULD DISCOUNT THE SHOE, THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR ME, POOR SERVICE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOW THEY RESPOND AND TREAT CUSTOMERS
