My husband and daughter went to JCrew at Shops of Nanuet, NY. A skinny talk blonde and a short brown haired salesgirls acted very snobbish when they entered the store. They were not that helpful. People should not judge other people fir the way they dress. My husband spent a lot of money to my gifts and should have been treated with respect. Toward the end one gave him gift boxes for my cashmere sweaters. Please try to hire friendly and non discriminatory personnel. I don't know if I will be shopping there anymore. It's a shame there is beautiful clothing in that store.
Maria was the manager on duty when I called to tell her I thought I had been overcharged for several items I had purchased. She looked up the transaction and adjusted the prices and was SO SO very professional, efficient, and POLITE. It was impressive! It can't not recognize that kind of customer service.

I use a prepaid to order x-mas and didn't realize that jcrew charges once(which goes into pending), and then charges you again for the same order when it ships. Then you will get ur original charge back in a week after the ship it. So have the $ to pay for it twice in your account or you will not get it. What a BAD policy. Christmas ruined!
I went to JCrew at Columbus Circle yesterday, and Briana help me to find the stuff from other's store by calling some stores, it's very nice of her. And today I come back to the store to get something else. Now I love JCrew cuz of her service impressions. Next time when comeback I will open the store card
I had an issue with J. Crew website placing an online order. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who then transferred me to someone on the technical/trouble shooting team. Problem was accurately being looked into, but most importantly I was very pleased with how attentive and professional both representatives were. It isn't common to get the highest level of costumer service in this day and age!
I have had multiple issues with J Crew items. I ordered several of their T shirts and after just a couple of wears (gentle wash & hang dry) the shirts all got little holes all along the lower half. I ordered my mother a sweater and it was such a poor quality I took it back to the store and was told I had to return via postal service. I was charged $7.50 in shipping and then I still didn't get my money back. They sent me a "credit". J Crew is $#*!! You will be sorry if you purchase from them. One tip... if you do buy from them don't do it on line.
Three separate times I have ordered a pair of New Balance sneakers and all three times the shipping date was pushed back over several weeks and then canceled. I can understand this happening one time. They were in stock two of the times and this still occurred. I will be ordering from another company hear on out. Customer service was polite, but absolutely nothing was done. Oops, sorry is not enough. Sorry, J. Crew moving on.
What a disappointment. As a young professional I was excited to start shopping at J. Crew. I saw an instagram blogger wearing a pair of their pants and thought it would be a good time to invest in some good quality pants. I bought the high rise cameron pants in black in April and bought the navy pair at the beginning of May. Recently the button on the navy pair fell right off. For the high price point of these pants I feel that the quality should hold up better or atleast longer than 4 months. I was not too worried because I was hoping that J. Crew could help me! I went to my local store and received horrible customer service telling me that "there is no guarantee with our clothing". No apology or assistance at all. I then wrote an email to corporate hoping they could give me a refund or even a new button so that i could fix the issue myself, but they told me they could not do that. Overall J. Crew had horrible customer service in store and via email. I felt more of a bother than anything else and my situation was not resolved at all. The associates I dealt with did not give me any type of apology for their low quality clothing. For the high price point I expected more. I hope that J Crew can step it up and stand by their product. I recommend sticking with brands that stand by their product and support their customers with all types of needs.
I shop a lot of online clothing stores and J. Crew is by far the most difficult to work with.
My previous order contained the wrong items in the package.
This order I had difficulty getting the right sizing. I called J. Crew and they advised me of the sizing but once I got them they were still the wrong size. The representative I first spoke with was a rude gentleman that was apparently in a hurry. He rushed me into completing a second order and charged me shipping to replace the items that were the wrong size. I had to call again this morning because there was a third item that we did not get included (because he was rushing me), and he forgot to send a return label to me. I am confused about the $7.50 return fee, because no other clothing company charges this fee. I will be sure to stay away from J. Crew moving forward and inform others to do the same.
Really great place to buy designer clothes, items arrived pretty quickly and in perfect condition! There's a lot to choose from on the site and the shopping process is smooth and enjoyable, would recommend :)
This has happened 2X to me now. I don't know why I ever shop here! When I go to order they tell you that pick up at the store is on a certain date. The items are never there on that date. When I try to cancel, they tell me that I can't.
Now I have to jump through more hoops to return the items once they dribble in on separate shipments and dates. It is such a pain!. They take your $$ in a millisecond and but it takes extreme efforts to get it back. Terrible.
Who in the world doesn't like Jcrew!? Fast delivery, Best quality, Good customer service and good sale prices! :) I've bought 2 pants to die for from their website on sale and the quality is perfect. The funny thing is that I bought them on sale. I will always continue to shop from them.
I went to the Nags head outlet mall at OBX. One of the associate asked me if i need a size and all the while i thought she was that sincere so i told her i needed size 4. She came back with size 4 and threw the size 4 top in the floor. She could have place it on top of the door but no, she threw it in the floor and that was really really RUDE! I happen to get her name cuz shes also the one who help me at the register. Cashier CYNTHIA. I also work in a retail store and that is just a big NO NO!
J Crew charged me a 35 dollar late fee on my due date and when I called and spoke to a Supervisor Jennifer ID # 9324 her response was I paid my bill at 6:30 P.M. and that at 6:00 P.M. is a new day. Meanwhile we have 6 more hours before the day ends.My bill was 35 dollars and I paid 35 dollars meanwhile I was charged a late fee if 35 dollars so that means I paid zero dollars on my bill.
I have shopped with JC for years and always had a positive experience. If there is an issue or something doesn't fit the return policy is very good (unless you purchase a final sale item, then there is not returns.). Many of the items I purchased from years ago still look beautiful and new.
The quality of all their products is guaranteed to be always best, it never disappoints in that region. Cool new collection with good price.

My wife purchased a sweater for me from this retailer for Christmas. The package arrived and we noticed right away that there was an issue. The sweater which was supposed to be an XL was indeed in an XL package (plastic bag). When we took to sweater out for me to try on, I noticed it was a Large not an XL. So a large in an XL packaging. The next thing we noticed was that the sweater was already pilling and for a "new sweater" we thought this was odd. In any case she sent it back to exchange it for the correct size, and to our surprise, J-Crew said they couldn't exchange the "new sweater" because it was from their 2019 collection. Somewhere between their warehouse and the delivery of this so called "new sweater" someone pulled a switch, old for new. Now let me ask this audience, why the hell would FedEx or UPS do such a thing? We will never purchase anything from J-Crew ever again. Buyer Beware! They are horrible at customer service and someone in their fulfillment center is stealing from "US" the consumer.
I've ordered shoes and boots from them and they've arrived thoughtfully packaged, it's a gift to unwrap them! The clothing is well designed and beautifully made, I'm so glad to have discovered JCrew!
Horrible company! I am always appalled when a large company treats customers in a manner that would shut down any small to mid size mom and pop operation. I ordered pajamas for my wife before Christmas. Dec 12 to be exact. I paid extra for 2-3 day shipping. When it did not come i called (Dec 20th) They apologized and said they would wave the shipping cost. Its now Feb 3! I called and they couldn't find my account. When they did they said it is set to ship March 30th! WHAT! I asked for a manager, Rachel Webb. She said actually one of the pajamas is set to go out now! REALLY, COME ON! She said they will cancel the one order and when I get the one that should ship out in the next week, that I can ship it back. I said I want nothing from your company. If this was a small business, the proper thing to do would be to credit me for the ones being shipped and cancel the other order. Instead there was never a mention of a credit. No mention that they take ownership for 2 months of no communication and status updates. I guess I am old school, but just let me walk into damn store and leave with my items. This is a joke! I highly recommend NOT using JCREW Online services. I will not buy anything from them any longer.
