After a couple hrs past my delivery time I had received nothing. I checked on my order they said the driver had delivered it already. I never got it so, they said they'd resubmit the order and it be out within the hr nothing came. Contacted them again and they said they'd resubmit. 7hrs after I ordered I got the groceries but not all that I paid for. My card was charged 115.00 my groceries came to 49.64. Weeks have gone by with several communications back and forth on this issue and the need for s refund. Nothing done just a round around. Lastly they told me to contact my bank I guess it must be their fault Instacart didn't give me my refund. NOT! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... NOT ETHICAL AT ALL. WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS COSTLY, FRUSTRATING AND TIME CONSUMING. THE CONCEPT OF THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IS GREAT... THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY INSTACART IS CROOKED!

Publix Instacart in Stockbridge charged me $50.00 for a $40.15 order. When I called them to ask for my refund, the representative presented did not know anything about the deposit at first. Then she couldn't find the order. Then she put me on on indefinite hold. When I called back, more of the same. They couldn't find my information, but they found my bank account very quickly. Its only $9.85 but it's mine and Instacart has very deceptive monetary practices. They have not returned my money. Don't give these people your personal information.

Delivery NO SHOWS
February 16, 2020

The shoppers, if they show up, don't know how to get buzzed in to a building.
Twice the shopper not only did not deliver, but also did not communicate what happened, leaving me cooling my heels waiting for nothing.

Horrible
February 16, 2020

If i could five zero stars. I used instacart for the first time. And the lady lied to me. Who was shopping saying my stuff wasn't at the store. I sent my husband up there to verify. And it was indeed there. Then i call to get better customer service and they just keep me on hold forever and helped None! Poor Service!

No English
February 15, 2020

Instacart needs to do an English competency test. It is not fair to employ drivers who can't communicate with a prodominatly English speaking population. It is frustrating communicating with your shopper and my orders are wrong or incomplete. I support anyone who wants to work, but not at my expense or convenience. Do better

First the good things: the delivery was prompt, and the young man who dropped off half of what I ordered was friendly and polite.

But a company that CAN'T GET A FREAKIN' SIMPLE ORDER REMOTELY CLOSE TO RIGHT is not worth a second chance. Ordered two boxes of Old Spaghetti Factory mizithra cheese. Two $5-dollar boxes of my daughter's longtime favorite cheese for her favorite dinner, spaghetti.

Only one box of cheese was in the box.
First strike. My daughter would be inconvenienced by that. But at least the receipt had the correct amount for one box. Total including tax, delivery fee and a small tip was $9.57 on the emailed receipt. But then, my wife looked at her credit card account saw that she'd been charged $25 for that $5 box of cheese. So now she has to dispute the charge and chew up her valuable time to get rid of Instacart's fraudulent charge. Strikes 2,3 and more. Game over. We will not use Instacart again.

Wages Are So Bad
February 13, 2020

This place is disgusting to work for. They have dropped wages so much it is almost unbelievable. When I first started working there I could afford to pay my bills, didn't really have anything left over but I was happy I could pay my bills. I no longer make enough to pay my bills and sometimes can barely afford gas for the week and have accumulated a lot of credit card debt in order to pay the rest of them where I had no credit card debt when I started. I have anxiety every day wondering if I will make enough money. When we got payed better I turned down a couple of jobs that are unfortunately not available anymore bc I was making an ok amount with Instacart. I've never seen where u can literally make less than half at a job after being there for a couple of years. They obviously do not care if there employees can live off what they are making. And they keep hiring so many people so they can continue to drop wages every week and the new hires have no idea how much they are getting takin advantage of bc they didn't work there before they started dropping wages. Every week they would drop delivery pay until it got so low and we never thought they could ever go lower but they have so much. I saw an Instacart payment of only $10 recently for over 40 items and the customer didn't tip. This could easily take a couple of hours after taking in driving time, having to text the customer about replacements, checking out and delivery and then getting back home if that is the only order you are able to get that day. This is well under minimum wage when they are trying to raise minimum wage and of course using gas and wear and tear on our vehicles. I saw another order that they took off the dashboard and then put it back on with another order and only added $3.00 for almost 20 more items and an extra delivery. They pay $7.00 if u have one item but sometimes only $3.00 more for 40 or 50 more items that could take at least an hour longer sometimes. You are not getting paid enough for your time at all. Just bc they made the minimum a little higher doesn't mean it's ok to drop everything else by so much. I would be so embarrassed if so many of my employees felt they were not getting paid fairly.

Twice in a row a problem
February 11, 2020

The first time I used Instacart all went well. The second time I canceled the order because there were so many items that were not available. Instacart showed up anyway with replacement items I did not want. This last time I was charged and there was no delivery. I am severally handicapped and when I got a text that the delivery would be at 5:45 PM, I sat by the door. At 7:30, I had enough of waiting. Time to ask for a refund.

Missing 9 items
February 10, 2020

I used Instacart which I often, I've always had great service and received all my items. Today, the shopper "Lexus" arrived with my order missing ground beef, hot dogs, 2 Ocean spray juices, 3 packets of gravy, sugar and butter.
Upon filing the complaint with instacart, they indeed refunded the $38.00 which would not be back in my account for up to 10 business days (the money came out immediately mind you) I encouraged them to contact the employee who stated they dropped all groceries off, but indeed had only dropped off 6 other items, 3 packs of rolls, milk, cheese and frozen pizza.
I am on bed rest from surgery and not able to get back out for the items and out the food to be delivered and the money not back in account for 10 days.
When I asked could they just do it in the form of an insta credit to the account and keep the money they already took so I could replace order immediately, the answer was we cannot help you. I will NEVER use them again due to poor customer service and employees able to lie and steal from clients.

Horrible Experience
February 8, 2020

If I could give them 0 stars I would! OMG, I have never dealt with such incompetency in my life. So I was home sick with a cold yesterday and I didn't want to go out. I went online to Instacard at about 10:15 am and I ordered a few items from King Soopers. I received a text that my items would be here in about an hour. An hour passed and I got a text that my items had been delivered with a photo of items dropped off at a door, not my door though! I called them and told them they had delivered the items to the wrong house. They apologized and said they would send the shopper out and deliver them in about 2 hours. Two hours passed, nothing. I called them and they said the shopper had a flat fire and they would have another shopper drop off the items in 2 hours. Two hours passed and nothing. I called them and they said the shopper was shopping. Finally at 5:15 pm, I got my items. I will NEVER use this company again.

I used Instacart a few times. I got injured and need the service.
Absolutely the worst service I've ever had.
First part of the ordering process is pretty good. Very fast but,... and it's a big one. The delivery people OMG! Incompetent doesn't cover it. Most of these people must be from another planet.
They can't find the address even though they use GPS and if they do find it some of them can't use an intercom. One girl called dispatch to get my phone number so I could let her in? It took a while but I finally got down there. I said: I guess you didn't have the instructions and then I noticed she had them in her hand. I said: you have them right there I can see them it says use the intercom. "What intercom" the one three feet from you. The big silver box. "Oh that, those things never work" WHAT?!
I could never make this stuff up and I'm a writer. I've got a few more just as crazy.
I will never use the service again. My blood pressure went up. It ain't worth it.

Very helpful
February 9, 2020

I have used Instacart three times now and have never had a problem with it. The shoppers I have had have been great; very friendly. Each time I've ordered I have been contagious with the flu and ammonia so I tell them that and they keep away a little bit which is fine withMe because I would do the same thing. Everything shows up, it has been delivered when it says it has, and I have never had a problem with expiration dates or anything.

Terrible service
February 5, 2020

This company does the online shopping for Publix customers. I used their service twice and, even though I left a note saying that I do not want to replace items, they did it anyway. I used this service because I don't have the time to go personally to do the shopping and now I find that I have to go anyway to return items but Publix doesn't give me the money back so I have to accept a gift card instead. This is a scam. Publix is a serious company. They should reconsider letting Instacart to do the online shopping for their customers.

Absolute scammers. Not only they charge you extra for some service fees and tips, but they also send you wrong items that they "replaced" based on their own judgement. When asked for refund they don't refund any of the fees or tips, so my refund came $8 short of the original order of $30.

This company is a scam
February 3, 2020

This company is a scam. I went online to buy products from Giant and nowhere on the site they tell you that they overcharge the price of whatever you buy.
When they delivered the products they gave me the Giant receipt and then, when Instacart sent me the receipt it was 30% more than in Giant, and not because of the service fees and tip, but because they charge whatever they want. Scammers!

Total scam
February 2, 2020

Not only are they charging you all kinds of fees and tips but they charge you more for your groceries than what they pay. My order today was a total of $271 dollars if you include the difference in what you pay for groceries I paid $80 to have my groceries delivered. They bury their disclaimer several pages down so unless you scrutinize the receipt, assuming you get one, you aren't going to know. I'm disabled and don't have a car. I have used their service for the last year because it's hard for me to get out and almost beyond my capability to carry the groceries into my house on my own. I live on less than 1400 dollars per month so every dollar counts. I feel like I've been raped by Instacart.
