They ban a lot of bad movie reviews, and their actual movie rating is missleadning to the public...

There has not been a better site than IMDb for movie and series listing. No, don't mention Rotten Tomato, cause the ratings of that site are $#*!, 'Black Panther is the top movie of all time? Like get lost.
I also like how IMDb moderates every information submission, review, and such. It protects the site from false data entry.
But the user profile feature definitely needs some upgrades. There should be a separate bar for just the profile of the user.
By the way, I love the top 250 lists.

PS: The new update of the IMDb page is $#*!.

I just posted a review of "Elvis" last week. I think, for the first time ever, I had the majority of readers agree with it and it was getting popular. I logged into IMDB only to find my review was totally removed. There was nothing controversial about it, nothing remotely offensive, I simply described why I did not like the movie. IMDB made it disappear. I won't be surprised if they make my "Prey" review disappear too.

I mean, this is a movie review site. The minute you start making reviews disappear because you didn't agree with them is the minute your site loses any and all credibility. Simply put, you cannot trust this site anymore. It's not what it used to be. There are plenty of uncensored social media sites we are allowed to express our views on, so good luck with this strategy guys.

For five years now, I have been trying to delete a factually inaccurate title I uploaded to IMDb when I was 14 years old. The customer support is a joke, they do not listen to anything I have to say and constantly defend their illogical "policies". Letterbo xd and TMDb are much much better alternatives.

This is a great place to find a movie title from around the world complete with director and cast. You can read reviews from users and find showtimes for currently playing films in theaters near you. You may even write your own reviews and give ratings to your favorite movies and television programs.

It used to be much better when they had a forum where users could ask questions about any movie. If you had a burning question or were trying to track down a forgotten title, someone out there had an answer. It's sad that IMDb removed this feature because of abuse.

I would give it 3.5 stars - but since they deleted the message boards its just not as fun.
I really enjoyed discussing movies on there with lucid people.
However, i think they had to take it down due to the number of asinine and/or crude remarks so often made on comment boards by senseless idiots.

What I most enjoy about IMDB is if you eveb just know part of the name of a movie, you'll probably be able to find it. If you like a particular actor, or director, or music artist, you can look them and see every movie or TV appearance they've done and then you can cross reference and find all sorts of movies you never knew existed!
I also enjoy looking up actors from the 30s thru 70's.

I also enjoy reading trivia and comments, amd movie trivia.

I have been using the site since the year began to review and rate movies, and while it is okay, it does have some problems. One of them being that if you share your opinion on a certain movie (especially if it's a new release), there is a high chance a lot of people will vote your review not helpful, especially if it is a movie they hate for a certain reason (like it's a live action remake of an animated film or it has a political message they don't like). Also, the site does have problems when uploading pictures. Best to steer clear of this one when it comes to posting movie reviews.

IMDB is where you rate and review movies and TV shows and make lists and polls about movies and TV shows. I think it's fun for people who are fans of reviewing TV shows and movies.

Tons of great information about movies. I use it all the time to look up actors and movie trivia. Info always seems accurate and well curated.
