So they called wanting to sell us SEO. I very politely asked to be put on the do not call list. They refused, stating it was my fault they called because our BBB rating was so high. I wanted to get their info so I said, "okay, what are you selling?" They told me. I asked for their info - they gave me a bogus company name... it took a bit of research to discover they were iLocalGurus and not the other company. They are terrible, and it's obvious that all of the "good" reviews out there are from employees. Stay away. Hint: if they were any good at SEO, wouldn't you be able to find them in a Google search for SEO companies?

They are very aggressive salesmen

Due to the fact that marijuana was just legalized in California a lot more/NEWER stoners are going to be looking for a way to find weed but they dont know about weed maps so i gave i local gurus / zack a little bit of trust only because he was super nice i went with a 239$ package so he could build me a website and he could set me up to my full potential at first i was mad cuz i didn't get any calls from google for the first 60 days and i called to cancel but they told me to be patient and i did
That was 4 months ago and now i dont have have a delivery service anymore i just opened up a storefront in laguna beach i still get calls and my website is perfect i am glad i gave it a little bit of trust

Are company traffic has gone up 3 fold since we singed up with Ilocalgurus.
If you don't understand SEO or the directories listings its OK. This process takes time but for what these guys provide for the price is un heard of. The website are one of a kind with the ease of using your Facebook business page. Awesome!
If you think you can get all the services for the price these guys offer go ahead but I was paying $999 per month from a company that I had no control of my website.
Being pro active is a plus but ILG will help you. The problem is most people are lazy and think it magic. Bottom line is if you don't start with internet marketing you will be left behind.

Originally I was going to put 4 stars since I was eager to see my results and assumed it would be instant after purchase. Understandably it took about 90 days for everything to be up and working but once it was my return on the my investment was about %350 and is still growing. My business has tripled despite the slow start for this service. It definitely isnt a "get rich quick" system but certainly added a lot of credibility to my business and quality for potential customers searching for my business and for customers via word of mouth. It has been 9 months since I opened my account and like many people was a tad disgruntled at the start. And after reading these reviews and not seeing results immediately i called them and though I was very vehement in presenting my inquiry a customer service lady explained everything. Clearly stated in an email that it may take 90 days I waited the 90, and now am very grateful I did.

I have worked with iLocalGurus for 2yrs now. In the beginning i was a little Leary because they had a hard time getting access to my google business page but they were very accommodating during that time. Once we got access through google it was all up hill from there. Within 2months my business was on the front page of google and im still there. I had horrible marketing and exposure before I signed up w I local gurus. They completely turned my business around and were so helpful and friendly. They always took time to hear me out and address any questions or concerns I had. I especially love their customer service team. They got me ranking on the first page and so many directories all of my customers tell me that's how they hear about me and find me. I am so grateful I signed up because the amount of money I pay monthly is SO worth the amount of money I make monthly because of them!

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY SAYS! THEY SAY THEIR BAD REVIEWS ARE EXTORTION. THE SALES ARE HIGH PRESSURE AND CHASE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR ON A TIME LIMIT OR RACE TO GET THE LAST SPOT AVAIL TO ADVERTISE. CHASE WIL TELL YOU YOUR GOING TO BE ON THE FRONT PAGE IMEDIATELY IF YOU SIGN UP NOW. TRY 45-60 DAYS TO FULLY OPTIMIZE. AND THEN HE LIKES TO ACT TOUGH ON THE PHONE. TOTAL DISRESPECT AND LIES!

I'm an investor and I do a lot of outsourcing for SEO services and the like. I have a partner named Gary who told me I could save about a-thousand dollars going with a company called ilocal - the one I'm reviewing now. I said to Gary - no way for that price, I've tried 'em all mentality. Gary showed me what they did for him in the past and I said I'd be willing to place a bet with him. If the company site ranked within 3 months I'd include that in the investment fund - if not, then he'd cover the loss AND agree to pay one of my other SEO companies the thousand or so a month. With the deal in my favor either way we agreed to me paying ilocal for three months. OK I'm still with them after now, five months. They're doing just about as good as my choice SEO company. Bottom line: I'd bet my money on ilocal again in the future.
