We moved our business mobiles to Vodafone on 2 October 2025 through Ice-Comms after being assured we would receive strong indoor and outdoor coverage at our site. Their sales team specifically promoted excellent signal performance and even claimed that "Vodafone and Three merged so coverage is even better." Vodafone's own coverage checker also showed full strength in our area.

Reality could not be further from that promise. We have zero signal indoors across all 25 SIMs and 0–1 bar outside. This immediately disrupted our operations — missed calls, staff unable to authenticate logins, and essential business communications failing.

We reported the issue on 3 October 2025. At the time of writing, over a month has passed and the situation remains unchanged. There is still no resolution timeline and we are given no realistic steps to fix the problem.

The only actions taken so far:
SIM card swaps
Asking us to manually roam between networks

Neither action changes the reality that there is no usable Vodafone signal in our area. The SIMs do not allow roaming to alternative networks, so being told to manually select Vodafone instead of leaving it on automatic does nothing — it is not a solution, just an exercise in wasting time, while the promised coverage simply does not exist.

To make matters worse, we have requested PAC codes so we can return to our previous provider who did work. Those requests have been refused, effectively trapping us in a contract with a service that simply does not function. We are paying for connectivity we do not receive, and being denied the ability to leave despite failure to provide the contracted service.Attempts to escalate have been extremely disappointing. Ice-Comms Directors James Taylor, Stuart Bonell, and Jamie Ward have not been willing to discuss or resolve the matter. Instead, we are told to email complaints and wait — with no action, no urgency, and no accountability while our business suffers daily disruption.

We entered this agreement in good faith based on representations made by Ice-Comms and Vodafone regarding coverage. Those representations have proven false. The service has failed from day one, our business communications are crippled, and we are being forced to pay for a network that does not work.

Summary:
Promised strong coverage, received zero coverage
No working signal indoors and almost none outdoors
Reported early, still no fix after more than a month
No clear timeline or technical plan to resolve
PAC codes refused, preventing us from moving to a functional provider
Senior leadership unwilling to directly address the issue

We expect a working business service or the freedom to leave without penalty. At present we have neither.Until this is resolved and we are either provided with the service promised or released from contract, we cannot recommend Vodafone or Ice-Comms to any business.
