I am a 7th grader,

I-ready is a sorry excuse for a website, it is slow, and the website is horrible to navigate, the diagnostic is long and boring but not too bad compared to M-STEP the Michigan standardized testing, and the lessons are horrible quality, I could probably get better education by feeding ChatGPT my test answers and having it teach me the skills i need to know. And in the attached image, my teacher had assigned 2 things prior with no due date, (don't mind the time I have location off and I havent set it yet)

Im in 5th grade. They started doing this I-ready app for about 1-2 years now I think I dont really know but I hate it. It makes you take a rigged diagnostic in then after that you take more lessons. After I took the diagnostic I had to do lessons. KINDERGARTEN WORK, it had to make me put numbers in order as if I dont know how to count, while doing it I was genuinely so bored I shut my brain off and was just frowning the whole time, if anything my brain felt like it was rotting, hurting doing the same thing repeated and repeated over and over again. Genuinely the worst app I think I have ever seen for schools, not to mention that they also make it look like a cartoon for little children in kindergarten, and if your not on the diagnostic for a couple of days it makes you redo it, and theres no dark mode and it kills your eyes, and if you fail a question it doesnt help you or give you the answer or anything it just says "retry" or something and theres not skip button if you dont know an answer on the diagnostic, and for someone like me where im pretty sure it times your answers as well, someone WITH ADHD, makes it even harder to do because i often find myself just zoning out, forgetting answers, etc,.

Who likes iready?
March 7, 2026

I used to love iready when all it was was fun lessons and punch cards for prizes. What happened? The characters weren't everyone's favorite, but I kept wondering when I'd see them again. Then 6th grade hit. Iready pro removed all that I still liked. The diagnostics are long and some of my friends had to stress to complete it. I don't like iready, and I don't think anyone would miss it. This should be on Stewie Griffin's list.

Don't use i-Ready!
March 7, 2026

Hi, my name is Preston. I am an autistic 5th grade student who lives in California. My teacher wants me to do i-Ready, but i-Ready makes me stressed out. On the subjects of reading and math, I am forced to finish at least 45 minutes with at least 2 lessons. If I do this, I have the ability to get Fun Friday. I sometimes do Fun Friday, despite the fact that my school district has their own very strict firewall. It blocks bypassers, non-managed websites and applications, you name it! But for now, all I want to say is don't use i-Ready. Almost the entire amount of people who use i-Ready hate it, and that includes me. I-Ready is not helpful for education. And, let me just make one blanket statement here. If you support i-Ready, or if you are a member of the i-Ready team, like Kelly Sia, then a lot of people are not going to like you. I-Ready is not educational, they just want your tutoring money. Also, i-Ready spies on minors who get wrong answers. This could mean that i-Ready is being run by scammers. Thank you for reading this, and tell your teacher this review. If you have any questions for me, please contact my email. I hope you have a great day.

It can improve in these ways
* Lessons can be shorter time
* Create a notebook so kids don't always do math in their head
* If you fail a lesson make a easier lesson instead of repeating it
*( In play cupcake earn more money and when you want to buy something in that game take out the ahhh sound)
*( In play pizza when buying something change it that you have to switch buyers just to earn money instead just do the same buying thing as play cupcake)
* ( In play cupcake when you get the wrong order change that it says grow your brain and to much coordinates) and that is how I-Ready can get better

Long and useless
February 6, 2026

I-ready just talks a long time without really helping. It takes up time just to learn barely anything, and they teach the students many different, complicated, long methods for math that are different from school. As a result of those lengthy lessons, it takes a long time to complete them, and some students don't have that time. Some people struggle just complete one lesson and sometimes fail; this results in having to do the WHOLE lesson all over. And just for nothing? Students barely learn anything from that. In addition to that, some lessons from the old I-ready that teachers assign have LONG introductions/practice, then they have a quiz that has 1 question WRONG, it can bring YOUR % DOWN ABOUT 15%-20%. The new I-ready just has a taskbar THAT BARELY MOVES. Sometimes when they try to apply what they learn from the lessons to the FAST, for example, it could be wrong. In conclusion, I-ready is just a waste of time and utterly useless. From my experience of using I-ready every single week, doing 4 lessons, it is just a waste of my time that I could be using to study for my test, hanging out with my friends, or just resting. And some people IN MY CLASS have to do about 4 or 5 lessons for each of the subjects, and sometimes both. So doing about 10 lessons in total for I-ready is just useless when they learn absolutely NOTHING. So again, I-ready is useless and long.

I'm an eighth grader and I have to use this god forsaken sorry excuse of a website. The diagnostic is long, annoying, boring, and uninteresting. They don't even make it a test because they keep changing the questions and they don't let you change your answers or see your score. The lessons are not much better, as they are also boring and uninteresting but they are also biased and/or don't make sense a lot of the time. Only the hard questions are graded and getting three wrong answers makes you fail the lesson. When you fail a lesson they make you do it all over again with absolutely no guidance at all, like they think you are a robot or something. The lessons are also very slow, and the only questions you can change your answers to are the ungraded questions which takes a really long time as they make you listen to how to get the answer right, meanwhile I figured out the correct answer when the question said my previous answer was wrong. The characters look terrible, have no personality, and they don't have a purpose. They are just there to make your tedious I-Ready experience even worse. I would still say all of this a year ago, but since then I-Ready has gotten rid of the games. These games were fun and were a good break from the grind of the lessons. But now they have been discontinued, replaced by a stupid, boring, and poorly edited breathing video. Now I-Ready is truly just a waste of time and has become a modern form of medieval torture. Curriculum Associates can suck my b**** and those of thousands of angry I-Ready learners. They should be punished for all of the wasted time and suffering that they have caused. They treat children like statistics and don't give accurate data and are just all around a s***** company. Teachers, use Brainpop or Khan Academy or literally anything else. I know that there are some bad learning sites out there and I have used them, but none of them can even come close to the aggravation and suffering that exists as a byproduct of I-Ready.

$#*!K IM REVISITING
January 16, 2026

So as it turns out my school wants to make me blacked out like a phantung and make me have a tantrum. The thing is I have had previous experiences with this $#*! $#*! website and the thing is for anybody that sees this I want to to let you know this is not hate just to hate, but because its so tedious. Specifically the parts of the quizzes. After each math or ELA lesson there is a quiz and it does not help at all with this slave like app. After each fail it doesn't even give you advice and if you fail the lesson entirely it restarts you repeatedly until you fail 3 times. After 3 times it moves you on and you essentially learn nothing and you can't go back to previous lessons. Overall, you'll learn nothing from this hellhole and you should boycott Iready.
