Huffington Post is the National Enquirer of Liberalism. Its content consists of about 60% Conservative/Republican bashing, 20% LGBT cheerleading, 18% Sex and Orgasm related articles, and 2% actual news. The majority of commenters are viciously indoctrinated with liberal ideology and highly confrontational against any other point of view. The "headlines" of many or most articles are sensationalized to the point of being misleading, but the readers eat it up.
If you are not a politically correct individual don't even try to post there. Moderators delete any post that do not agree with their agenda. So basically a bunch of left leaning liberals talking to themselves without any disagreement. They delete anything you say if you disagree. I tried to disagree that being gay is something your born with. It got deleted. I would not recommend this site for anyone who wants impartial news.If you want a discussion go to sodahead.com
It is definitely NOT balanced or even close to being an actual legit news site. Maybe it was wayy back in the day but not possible now. Anyone who is being even semi honest with themselves would have to admit it is skewed extremely to one side... to the extreme. To find out what is actually going on in the world, look to other avenues/forums. Going to multiple ones (even ones that may not give 100% of what one may like or align to ideals) will give a more realistic and "honest/balanced" report than this drivel. This would be the 'perfect' source for news/info ONLY if ones desire was to read only what one liked and ascribed to. (Not honest, nor realistic, nor is it ethical journalism)
I am very ill amused and unimpressed with Huffington Post
I was a regular contributor to Huffington Posts forums until they decided if you didn't tie it in with a facebook account you cannot post anything. I have a legit email address to verify my account but am banned from Huffington post for not using a Facebook Account. This is a joke and a form of controlling and for this reason I don't read anything from HuffPost anymore.
Very liberal, left leaning Emagazine. Articles are frequently pro -gay and anti-God Huffpo tries to bend and distort the truth against the Republicans and any critics of Obama and big government All comments are moderated and not used or printed by the site.
I have been a commentator on HP for over three years and I have watched it steady decline over that time. Perfectly innocuous comments are deleted. HP moderators act in capricious and arbitrary manner and in no rational way. Having then post our names by our comments is the "straw that broke the camel's back for me." I will never comment there again.
This website is ok. A lot of people have problems with their comment (if ever) getting through. This website is first moderated by machine, if it fails the machine (like for example comment mentions of bombs/politics/terrorist) then it gets moderated by a human being. Which could take hours. They have easy navigable sections full of interesting topic. They do have autoplay videos which could get very annoying, I just downloaded ad-block on my firefox and never again. This website is a must visit for anyone who is bored.
This is the most radical leftist sick scam of a website I have ever seen. If you are not accepting their lies and their completely unreal point of what the truth is they ban you. They are so scared of the conservatives it is truly pathetic. If they were normal people they would allow other points of view. A bunch of chicken littles and Obama zombies
For the last time, only 17% of the federal government is shut down. The sky is not falling. There is over 200 billion tax dollars coming into the treasury every month. The payment on the national debt is 20 billion. We are not going to default on any loans. Huffpost and the other chicken littles are either lying to scare you or they don't know what they're talking about. Either way, nothing horrible is going to happen. Example: The sequester was reported to be the end of life as we know it. Remember that!?!?! Barely... because nothing happened. These 'reporters' are full of it!
This is a great site to learn current news. The site is very easy to navigate. You can search for a specific area of interest. You can find articles that are a little older, but cover the subject matter you are looking for.
My favourite website to check up on the news. I go to it at least three times a day to catch up on what's going on with the world.
The coverage is major... limp left wing... if you disagree with their bloggers... they do not print it... it you challenge them on their hypocrisy... they ban you... and if you have a technical problem... other people's comments end up on your profile page... they don't fix anything... if you call them $#*!s for their inability to manage their website... they ban you... if you use words they print... they will delete you or ban you... will not blog there ever again...
I love the news and information that one gets from this site. Great site indeed.
Great for gossip and politics as long as you're leaning left.
This site is pure left wing! You won't find any conservative views here. They screen all of the responses they get, and guess what?, if they don't like them, they just don't let them get posted. Now, how unbiased is that? I notice on other media sites, that the comments are posted immediately. What this tells me is that the Huffpost is indeed biased and should be rated as low as possible. Comcast needs to do something about this. It will tank in a short time if they do not get more factual unbiased content. The problem is Ariana Huffington. She is as far left as they come, so there you go.
Very informative and fast. Lots of important world news & green section is one of the best section a website has to offer. It has community moderators and badge system for members. It is a left leaning media though. Conservatives/republicans are welcome to a discussion but their voice would probably drowned by liberal members. Overall a decent web newspaper.
This is where I get most of my daily news. I find it to be mostly unbiased even though some they are left leaning, like anything else you have to form your own opinion on most topics and just use them as a news source.
I post within guidelines... do not get personal. Stick to ideologies and questions... yet many posts containing my own conservative views are deleted by moderators. When I would write to Stephanie H the Community Support Leader I would get no response. I finally wrote to Mario. Who forwarded her my complaint. What she wrote back was mean spirited and false. Said my posts are racist and that I named George Soros twice. I never typed his name... did not allude to him... know little about him... no racism at all. It was a shocking piece of writing, obviously, coming from someone with carte blanche to falsely accuse posters and paranoid... enough to fill in the blanks in their mind to assume someone said something they did not. The thought police in action censoring. I wrote asking for my posts... asked for an apology... but no reply from Stephanie or Mario. Surely someone there is educated to understand a writer's true intent? And humane enough to put someone in charge who doesn't blindly fill in thoughts that weren't there? Someone who does not play kill the messenger?
Is there a way to write to someone there who places decency above agenda!
The Huffington Post frequently (at least once a week) has articles written by 'experts' or parents of children with neurobehavioral disabilities, especially autism. It takes less than a couple minutes to read an article and digest it, making it easy and absolutely necessary for me to do so. Of particular interest to me are the posts written by parents, as they give me various perspectives of the family process.
Decent site for left leaning news stories from a variety of sources. Many opinion articles from important people. Wish they would update the site more often on the4 weekends. Very easy to navigate to different subjects.
Answer: This is the cancer of the internet. I've never seen a a sadder excuse for a news site. If you do use this site you should not only take everything you read with a grain of salt, but with the entire shaker
Answer: Because the reviews are so bad they don t want to self inflict their demiss
Answer: All I can say is that strong rumors suggest that this newspaper has ties with the CIA, so far, I have not read one article from the Huffington Post that was true. EVeryone I read and check were fact news, but, I don't suggest you should check with "FAct Check" there is not where I check because FAct Check is owned by a journalists that is financed by Soros, so it is a biased source. Never found one article from this newspaper that was not inflamatory and untruthful. Most say it is a peace of garbage.
