I have used Hostwinds for about 5 months now for my personal website, and it has been great. Reliable uptime (99.9% guarantee), and decent customer support (works 24/7 and really helpful) on several occasions when I've had trouble with my site.
I've been with many hosting providers and have never found a host that offers the service and support I get from Hostwinds Web Host! Uptime and Speed have been superb. I like this host. They have live chat to help if you get stuck... and they seem to be available almost all the time.

I signed up for the "Windows" VPS Managed services and it's been a few days and the service is working GREAT! And since I got the service I only had to contact support and they fixed my server and setup my backup add-on which didn't take long at all. So if you want my opinion the help and service is GREAT! And I will surely recommend them.

It was very easy to purchase hosting at a great introductory rate, and the yearly renewal rate is still extremely competitive. I was previously with another host for the past two years and so already had my domain and website built. Hostwing's technical staff was extremely fast in getting my site migrated and making sure I stayed online the whole time! I expect this time next year I'll be happy to renew!

This is my first bad review about hosting. On December 14,2019, I ordered a vpn plan from hostwinds. From the beginning there was a problem because I ordered a server from the Netherlands and got from the USA.
On the same day I bought 2 other hosting one from Hostinger and one Cloudways in order to check which hosting would be the best for my online store. Hostwinds were definitely the worst. The next day I sent a request to delete the hosting. I didn't log in to the client area anymore and I was convinced that hosting was deleted as per my request.
After a month I was charged again for the next month. I have requested a refund. I received that a month earlier they sent me an email that I have to confirm the request to cancel hosting again (unfortunately the email went into spam).
I sent them three more requests and confirm that I want to terminate hosting and ask to erase all my personal and paypal data from their system. On one query I got the answer that the request is incomplete and on 2 other support tickets I didn't get the answer and the tickets are on hold. To date, I have not received any refund. And the worst thing is that they still have access to my payment details and I'm afraid that again next month they will be charged for hosting costs. Avoid Hostwind
I am 100% satisfied Hostwinds customer. Recommend Hostwinds provider. I was looking for a host with stable servers. I found Hostwinds SSD web host with RAID 10 via google search. I have never had a problem they couldn't fix, and fast. Personally I really enjoy my experience dealing with them. Great network uptime! I don't think I will ever leave.

I bought their managed VPS Plans and asked them to set up WordPress with LEMP but they haven't installed NGINX due to which website was almost down for 24 hours then I decided to downgrade from Managed VPS to Unmanaged VPS lack of
Support expertise. I checked available upgrade options on their panel which generated an invoice which I haven't paid as I never wanted to make any other payment to them but they pulled the $109.33 without my permissions and when I asked the refund they said Refund is not possible.
Services are good enough you get a quick response from Level 1 Support but rest of other things are totally mess.
Hello everyone, I came here not to waste time writing that "hostwind" is good hosting, but I feel obliged to truly recommend you, a wonderful support, at all the time readily available and helpful, at all the time I have been very annoyed that I do not have much experience, but they are wonderful in helping. 5 stars deserve it.

My two sites have been on one of Hostwinds provider's servers for over a year now. Taking advantage of the opportunity can say that I'm happy using their SSD hosting services. They have the online support option which is great but sending them a mail is often better and they will reply within one hour if not a half hour and they'll fix your problem fast!
I am extremely pleased with Hostwinds. I am only semi-literate on most tech issues, but their instantly available live support have helped me immensely. Any hosting company can brag about their uptime and reliability, but these people really deliver the goods. Their pricing is a great value.
