I ordered 4 OEM Honda Civic door weatherstrips from HondaPartsNow.com ($355.22). The parts were wrong — didn't fit my vehicle.
I submitted an RMA request 4 days after delivery. They responded asking for part numbers. I provided them within 6 days. Then they went completely silent. I followed up 3 separate times over the next 18 days. Nothing.
On Day 30 — the last day of their return window — they finally responded: "Your RMA request is determined to be beyond that time range and we cannot authorize a return at this time."
They ran out the clock on their own return policy. Asked me for information, got it, then sat on it until they could claim the deadline passed. Their own order system shows my RMA was submitted on 02/14/26,4 days after delivery. They didn't process it. They didn't respond. They just waited.
No RMA form ever issued. No store credit offered. No escalation path. Just a generic "no" from a no-reply email.
This isn't an isolated incident. Sitejabber has them at 1.1 stars. Honda forums are full of the exact same story: wrong parts, impossible returns, customer service that ghosts you. They know exactly what they're doing.
If you're shopping for Honda parts online, go literally anywhere else. Your dealer, Amazon, any other OEM parts site. This company takes your money, sends wrong parts, then makes it impossible to return them. I filed a chargeback and I'd do it again.
I ordered a spoiler in December 2024. Order number is: CH*******, but it turned out to be the wrong order. We followed the instructions, took pictures of the label and tracking number, and spent $40.00 on shipping. We returned it without any damage, but it was denied by the end of the three-month process. The reason is that it was opened. How do you know if it is the right or wrong order if you don't open it? And the company said they are mailing the part back to me. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What would I do with it if it was the wrong part of my CRV? I think the company wants to sell out the parts. They want money very badly.
Recieved the wrong item but because I opened it they refused my return. How else would I know if something fits unless I open it? Customer service people are very rude and unhelpful. Just go to the dealership and pay whatever they want, it's worth it not to deal with this company.
RECEIVED THE WRONG PARTS AND THEY DONT WANT TO SEND THE RIGHT ONES THAT ARE ALREADY PAID FOR! IF ITS NOT STEALING PEOPLE I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS. I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PROCEDURE, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE YOUR EMPLOYEE ARE STUPID AND PUT THE PARTS IN THE WRONG PACKAGE. YOU SHOULD HAVE A PROCEDURE FOR THAT RATHER THAN STEALING PEOPLE MONEY!
I ordered several parts for this company for my Honda Ridgeline. This specific order just recently included three items the one item which was a door edge guard I wanted to return because it was not the quality I expected from a Honda part. Upon calling and contacting the company, they requested photos and pictures of the original box for the item which I sent. They then got in touch with me and said they needed the outer box with the original shipping label photographed on it. The only problem with that was, they had opened up a larger item and shoved the two smaller items inside that box so that they could ship three items in one box. That larger item had already been installed in the vehicle and the box was disposed of. When I explained that to them, they use that as their excuse to not offer me a return authorization or refund basically sticking me with an item I did not want and without any other option for return. I told him I would take that up with my credit card company as I intend to and I will pursue this until I win. This is a horrible policy and it is a terrible way to treat a consumer who has purchased items in the past. I was in business my entire life and I am a strong believer in consumer care and satisfaction. Do yourself a favor find a better dealer for the items you need and enjoy accompany that has good policy and good customer service. DO NOT BUY HERE!
They will tell you your parts are in stock. 5 days later you will learn they are backordered. Not the best prices. Avoid them.
Buyer Beware - Experience with Honda Parts Now/Auto Parts Prime I recently had a regrettable experience with Honda Parts Now, which, as it turns out, operates under the same management as Auto Parts Prime. After placing an order (Order Number: CH*******), I received incorrect parts and immediately contacted them for an exchange. To my disappointment, my request was denied. This issue escalated when I approached Auto Parts Prime and discovered I was missing another part from my order.
During my communications with both entities, I realized I was speaking to the same representative at both companies. Some digging revealed that these two are indeed the same business, which might explain the similar pattern of poor customer service. It appears that Auto Parts Prime, known for its low ratings, has launched Honda Parts Now possibly as a strategy to escape their bad reputation.
This experience cost me $200 and a lot of frustration. I learned a valuable lesson: always read reviews and research a company thoroughly before making a purchase. Potential buyers should be very cautious when dealing with this company or its affiliates.
Date of experience: April 23,2024
I purchased a blower motor using my VIN as well as entered my car's year, make, and model to ensure the correct blower motor item fit for my vehicle. Once I received the item on 3/2/24, I discovered it was not the correct fit for my vehicle as advertised on their website. On 3/5/24 I reached out to RMA department and they ensured my item to be approved for return. I did not receive any correspondence or update until I called back on 3/27/24, where they assured I will receive an update in 1-3 days. I did not receive any correspondence until I called on 4/5/24, to which the RMA department said they will give an update that day. I received an email on 4/5/24, that my RMA has been denied. I called the RMA department on 4/5/24 to follow up on reason for denial. The RMA manager Marabell filed an exception and said that I'll receive an update in next week. I did not receive any correspondence, so I called RMA on 4/17/24 and they said there was no update on my file. I called again on 4/18/24 and they said that they would give me an update the same day. I have not received any correspondence. I called back again on 5/13/24 for any updates and they said they did not have an update, but would get back to me in 2 hours. Within 2 hours, I receive an email that my exception has been denied. I call the RMA department and speak with Marabell, she assures me there is nothing to be done here, my request is denied. She suggests I speak with another RMA manager. I speak with Joe, the highest RMA manager and he says there is nothing to be done and that there was nothing to be done since 4/5/24 when I received the denial. He claimed that I did not enter my VIN. I told him that I did, he denied that was true. I offer to send him a screenshot of my order and the website saying that the item fits my vehicle based on my VIN number entered. He would not accept it and denied that I entered my VIN number. I requested to escalate and speak with his supervisor. He refused my request.
Hondapartsnow.com sent me the incorrect parts for my order and were unwilling to send me the right part to complete the order. I had to purchase the part myself. They were unwilling to make things right after much communication. Very dissapointing.
One of the worst packaging jobs I have ever received. The bolts and screws were scattered all over the box. They only taped the package in 2 places and one of the places they taped was already ripped. Contacted them to tell them I was missing a screw. Since I don't have a parts list they were also suppose to send me they won't help me. It was for a roof rail system for my Honda car. They do have better prices than the Honda dealership but that's probably because they save money on packaging your product correctly and just throw it all in the box. They also don't send you any instructions or parts list. Them won't help you when you're missing parts because you don't have what they should have sent you in the first place. I would be carful buying from them. Had to pay more money to a Honda dealership so I could get the screw that was missing.
Buyer Beware of this unscrupulous company. I ordered a mirror in mid January, shipping took longer than usual from Florida. On arrival it was incorrect part. Very difficult to get a Return Authorization (RMA). Returned the part in original packaging and by this stage, I knew I was not dealing with a reputable company, so took photos of the packaging. They received it on January 29, despite numerous calls (8 calls)regarding the refund, 5 emails, and speaking to their RMA manger (Joe), the refund never came through. February 29 they finally responded, Quote.! " We have received your return parts and we are sorry to inform you that your refund has been denied due to the following reasons. The Part is non-returnable items due to it being, but not limited to. - Any opened packages or unsealed items. What a load of hogwash. I will take this further, as honesty and integrity are my hallmark and Honda Parts Now are anything but that. Very difficult or next to impossible company to deal with in a fair manner! Buyer Beware!
Horrible return policy and customer service. I ordered a combination light switch but received a different one that doesn't work with my model. I requested an RMA number for a return and never received one until I called them and they emailed back declining my return. Because the package was open. How was I supposed to know that the item you sent WAS WRONG!? Do not waste your money with these Honda Parts Now.
Ordered Differential washers. It a whole month to get them and turned out they were not OEM. They didn't want to issue a refund or replacement. Had to dispute the charge from my credit card company to get my money back.
Highly Unrecommended. Will not be buying from them again, ever!
This website does not allow zero stars! Bummer.
I ordered from them for a side mirror. Opened the box for the first time with my mechanic and the part was already chipped (shown in the pic). This chipped off piece was also not in the box so I know it must have happened prior to shipping. They refuse to let me exchange or return this part because they have a ridiculous 5 day return policy. NEVER SHOP HERE
I placed an ORDER five minute later they sent an email chase my credit card company do not verify merchant. And i had to used PAYPAL FOR MY ORDER?
My credit card was charge and you want me to used paypal
" Unfortunately, per your card issuer's policy, they don't not offer merchant verification services.
If you were still interested in obtaining these items, you would place using pay pal. We do apologize for any inconveniences."
I'm uncertain about the nature of their operations, but I reported the situation to my card company, which safeguards all my purchases. Opting for PayPal feels akin to making a cash payment or adhering to a hacker's directive to acquire a gift card for an order.
I ordered parts in December 21,2023. I followed up on January 2,2024 to see the status of my order. I was told that the order would ship on the 3rd of January. I checked back with them again on the the 5th of January. I was told they would ship on the 8th of January. Just called today January 10 and again I was told that they would ship on the 11th. I canceled my order and picked up both parts at the Honda Dealership and the parts were within $4.00 because I didn't pay shipping.
Bought a wheel cover for my Honda. Cheap plastic, it flew off the first time I took the car out. Customer service would not make good for it.
Stay away from this place,
I ordered a fob with the remote start and received the standard USA fob. They wanted pictures of the packaging and fob. Soon as the saw the package opened they denied my return. The fob comes disassembled so how does a person know that everything is there and if the buttons are correct? I'd give them a zero if it was possible.
I waited 7 days for the parts. The tracking number provided by USPS says the package was never picked up. Called and asked to cancel the order so I could purchase the parts locally. They would not cancel and refund the order until they received confirmation from the shipping carrier that the item was lost. Another 7 to 10 days. Why is this my problem? I cancelled directly through my credit card company.
Say things are in stock that aren't. Send wrong parts and takes WEEKS to get refunds back. Customer service is awful. Get told the same thing over and over and never happens
