The company's reputation is predominantly negative, with numerous customers expressing frustration over perceived scams and misleading practices regarding their work-from-home offerings. Common concerns include unexpected fees, ineffective marketing strategies, and a lack of genuine support, as many report difficulties in obtaining refunds or assistance from customer service. While a few customers successfully received refunds through third-party services, the overall sentiment reflects disappointment and distrust. The frequent mention of upselling tactics and unfulfilled promises has led to a strong recommendation for potential users to avoid the service altogether.

Very misleading! Does not mention the various fees involved at every step of starting your own online business. Request for a refund? Well, you can wait and wait and wait forever! Customer service sucks; would not reply to your emails when you ask for a refund. Stay away!
I feel like an old fool. I am disabled wanted to work from home, this looked very legit. Not so.Its like everyone has said. They say free, then give you 10 items to pick from for your website, however, if you try to pick one it won't let you unless you pay $47.95 to set up as a PRO. When they get your info and set you up on paypal they disappear and you can't find them. I contacted my bank where I've been a customer many years. As soon as these charges are submitted the bank is going after them. All you have to do is make an effort to get your money or service prove you have tried to contact these scum. Then at your request your bank will persue them and get your money back.
I signed up with the minimum 1 website over a month ago. Although I am getting an adverage of 69 people to my so called website I have not had one sale credited to my paypal account. I have also requested a refund twice only to be told to be patient and you need to wait a couple of months or 250 visitors before you start making serious money. They also said I should receive a sale soon. I also requested proof from them of someone that actually does receive income but had no response. If this is really a scam how are they still operating and why have the police not cracked down on this fraudulant exercise? Look forward to anyones feedback...
As I have only signed up 3 days ago, I am still cautiously optimistic. I have read the reviews on here, they are very worrying. I tend to agree that these websites bought are maybe not effective money spinners, but, I am currently setting up an independent website, and I fully intend to use all the information on marketing gleaned from my membership of home web centre, having downloaded all their books on marketing. I have found loads of help about setting up an individual website on the web, so will use home website centre as a learning curve. Did I hear you all say "Good luck with that then!" :) ps will let you know if I ever get access to my websites through my members access, I remain hopeful.
I was enticed into this opportunity by someone who said that I could make £15 with three clicks of a mouse and that I could do that as many times as I wanted, 5, 10, 20 times a day depending on how much a day I wanted to make they even had charts showing how your money built up over the year. Thats what I paid for but what I got was totally different. I don't know why I did'nt just go for the refund right there but I did'nt then straight away they start to milk you for all you have got. Suddenly this fantastic opportunity is not so fantastic you are limited to 1 web site
Which they say is ok if you just want a hobby but if you want to make serious money you need to upgrade and today just happens to be half price day Wow! Was I lucky so I clicked to up grade CaChing I thought I heard a cash register somewhere but it was'nt mine. Right so now I'm at the Pro level and I can have ten websites (one page per site), I start to do it, yeah its easy, one after another, I do 5
Sites have dinner come back and do 4 more on a range of subjects from weightloss
Which is always a good one to how to stop snoring and recipe books and they say you can charge what you want but recommend about $49.99 but when I saw the quality of the e-books I decided to price them much lower between $9.99 and $19.99 ok click publish. Now your site is out there your link to paypal is set up I'm
Sceptical but hopefull then I click the magical get customers button. Bam, its only going to cost me $49.99 for today only. I decline the offer but I am tempted to go all the way because if I don't I won't know. Is it greed or desperation the cost is piling up. I just need to make a little extra money, I think I might lose it soon if I don't find something sraight forward and honest. I think I'll go back to my web sites and lower my prices again maybe someone might be willing to pay $2.99 and not bother about a refund when they see the quality of the product. I wish I could change the site myself but you can't theres only about 12 templates to choose from. You can check your stats to see how many visitors you get but that could be fixed. I don't even know that they are on line. Its the moon landings syndrome.
I signed up for this last night at the price of 32.00, I thought I would get a list of companies needing posting done. I got one page, of book covers with auwful titles that no-one wants to buy. Only one was available to put on my webpage. The others would require upgrading to Pro at a reg cost of 197.00 but offered for 97.00, I said no, then it offered it at 67.00, I said no, then 47.00 I really had a hard time saying no, thinking I should get my income started faster, but I said no, waiting to see what one site would earn. It offered it to me for a limited time of 2 minutes at a price of 27.00, I said no again. Proceeded to set up my webpage (first) and found no instruction. When done it said to view it click here, so I did, and I saw what I thought was my webpage, but then it required me to set up Paypal to accept payments. I did. Then I read the horror stories about paypal ripping people off.
I also saw on my boyfriends computer the ad he saw of a woman who made 7,000 in Port Alberni and her picture, he wanted to find out what company it was for, it was Home-on-line job position. Then he suddenly said, oh, I also saw it earlier and checked the history on his computer, he found the same picture, only this time it said it was a woman in Abbotsford. It got us worrying. I rechecked, and through homewebsite center was able to set up a free webpage, it gave me links to find it. Which I tried and found it. Today, I searched the same links and they are not to be matched anywhere. I'm so glad I didn't pay more, but hope nobody else pays they're hard earned money for this stuff that doesn't exist. I did have a look at the book, and if anyone was to print a hard copy it would take alot of ink since it has a large dark border on each page.
I never trusted those kind of things, but don't know why I fell for this website. I paid 20$ for signing up fee, get one free website to start with. Then I was asked to upgrade to this, to that with price of 90$, other ppl uses this have made whatever amount... blah blah... i just ignored it, so the upgrade prices dropped all the way to 39$... lolz... still ignoring it. Everyday, i got an email from pple called themselve as CEO or whatever that is of this website, saying all nice things like, ur one of lucky who got picked to recieve this, to access this for that low amount... blah... i so know this is a scam so, jst ignore it. I only lost 20$, sorry for anyone who wasted money on upgrading things...
This is a scam. To get your FULL Refund NOW:
1. Call ClickBank *******035 directly to file dispute (get your reference # ready) and you will get your refund charged by ClickBank and you will get refund within minutes. I guess this is a known and recurring dispute at ClickBank.
2. File dispute over request of the transactions charged via PayPal (especially people with PRO upgrade) and you will get refund within minutes. I guess this is a known and recurring dispute at PayPal, too.
Don't bother to email homewebsitecenter.com for any refund because you will waste your time and get nothing back.
The website is a total scam been with them for eight months have'nt made one dime
And Insant customers is a scam to I have the same amount of visitor for all my websites
How can that be possible over three thousand visits in one weak yet no sales
I signed up for this website May 2010 and haven't made a sell yet, I paid for the fee and then signed up for pro and I payed almost $80.00 and still haven't made nothing yet, dropped my prices to $9.00 and $9.95 and still nobody haven't responded to my websites, I just lost money, from May to October should have made some money by now but still haven't made anything.
Whatever you do do not buy this product it is rubbish as soon as they take your money they ignore you i know this from experience i have sent so many emails i paid for their priority support where you should get a answer in 30 mins i am waiting for hours and hours so do not buy into this rubbish it is a trick...
Guys, please do not waste your valuable time and money on any of this work from home thing. It is all a SCAM. I saw this compeling story on our local newspaper about a woman that was supposly making $5000. 00 a month working for this people. It was suppose to be a matter of paying $2.79 for shipping and handling which I paid just to see what the whole thing is about. I never received a thing from them and later learned that they was trying to charge me $139.00 because it was a five day free trail and that time has exceeded. I immidiately called my bank to stop the transcation since it was still pending and informed them that it was a fraud.
Please be advised, if u have already signed with this people, call your bank or credit card company to deactivate the card and issue you a new. If not, they will be charging your account every month or even every other day.
One of the biggest scam and total ripp off, they should be hunted down and prosecuted, these are a bunch of virtual thieves, I was literally ripped of starting with $49, then 97, then 60 and it just kept on going on, after creating websites and posting my sites to varius search engines for another $49, I was even unable to find it, checking on the graphs of visitors, they all look the same. They are now bombarding my e-mail with request for more money. They must be stopped.
After finally deciding to read some reviews... I'm thoroughly convinced this is a scam. I have 2 sites. 1 of which has gotten more than ******* hits and not 1 sale... After complaining rather diligently I'm finally told I can lower the price... Well I can't edit my site without upgrading for $47... So lowering the price isn't an option... They set the price initially and with no doubt 100's if not 1000's of these sites out there it's rediculous to even try. I agree with a previous post that being a savvy computer guy, I have no idea how to even find my site on the net and since they host the site I have no real way of verifying that the statistics are even real... which I seriously doubt... It's a total scam... Don't waste you money,,, And if you have, report it to the attorney general of your state...
I agree with the other people that have commented on this site they promise a lot but ask u to upgrade to some stupid supercharge system that I don't see would do anything that i supposedly don't already have. Almost all of the websites that i have (over15) have almost the exact same hits, ALL OF THEM! 100's of hits since June 1st and not a single sale, that seems awful hard to believe! They tell you to be patient, what a #&*#@ SCAM, SAVE YOUR MONEY! It's a wast of time and somebody needs to do something to get them off the web!
They start with it costs nothing, than it costs $49. Then they recommend you upgrade for another $49. After you start they say it takes about three weeks to get a sale. I changed pricing 4 times and in three months have not made ONE CENT. But have over 1500 hits per week on each site. Something isn't kosher here. Would recommend staying as far away as you can
I joined July 19 and paid for all the add-ons. Although I have had over 6000 "visitors" there's not been one sale. I asked where the Instant Customers were and told it can take a couple of months before I see results. They now say the development team are looking into my account to see why I've not had any sales... a week on and now can't even get a reply. I've been spending over 3 hours each day to try to generate business as well as trying varoius prices... a scam good and proper
I was after making a quick buck or two on this website, and like everyone else on this forum, I've wasted valuable £'s on something that is a complete scam. Even lowering the prices on the products, I'm still getting nothing.
If you're thinking of doing this, don't. Save your money for something useful. And it seems there are more of these websites cropping up all over the place at the momemt.
Hi. I just posted off this message to homewebsite center and will copy it here. It pretty much describes how i feel after reading that if i put in the effort i will get at least some reward. Not looking for a million dollars obviously but even one sale would be nice since i have dropped all prices to under 20 dollars 3 weeks ago and have done at least 70 hours of advertising since then.
This is a copy:
Hi. I am wondering if this is really a legitimate site. Not to be rude, but since i have signed up and created all the sites available i have spent appx 3hrs each day advertising my sites. But what i find strange is that i have only been advertising five sites that i thought would sell the best. But looking at my statistics the numbers all seem the same and a couple are even identical. It just seems a little strange that exactly the same number of people in certain countries have apparently viewed my sites exactly the same amount of times and these are the sites that i have not even advertised but still have the same amount of hits as the ones that i have been sending out on email blasters. Can someone maybe explain how the statistics work in a little more detail for me so it might make a little more sense. That would be great.
Total scam and a waste of really good time.
If you are wiiling to do the work to make the money, this site is not for you. Totally bogus.
Apparently i was also on the live chat but kept getting automated messages that had nothing to do with what i was asking.
It makes promises that it doesn't doesn't deliver. It needs to be reported and removed before anyone else gets duped.
