Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of booking a cleaning through Homeaglow.
I booked a simple one-time cleaning. What I didn't know was that they automatically enroll you in a recurring $59/month "ForeverClean" membership. I only found out when the charge hit my card.
When I contacted support, they said the fee is "non-refundable," even though I never intentionally signed up for a subscription and never used the service.
So if you're planning to try them, double-check every detail. The membership terms are not clearly disclosed and it's easy to get hit with a charge you didn't expect.
> Absolute scam. Homeaglow took my money and gave me nothing in return. There is NO real customer service — no working phone number, no response to emails, nothing. They make it impossible to get help or a refund. I feel completely ripped off. No one should trust this company. Save your money and stay far away from them

My first experience with Homeaglow was my last. The cleaner who showed up did not clean anything that I wanted cleaned, criticized my decorating, left owing me more cleaning time and took a call from another company with which he had applied for a job. I cancelled the service by phone in October, 2024. Because I have had health issues recently I needed assistance with my finances and I am just now getting to them myself. In so doing I learned that Homeaglow has been charging me monthly and I believe that I am entitled to a refund of $535.14. They claim that I never cancelled and won't refund my money. This is not a company with which you should deal.
I've used Homeaglow twice now, and both times have been deeply frustrating. Despite booking in advance, the assigned cleaner kept changing repeatedly—even up until the scheduled time. Most recently, my preferred date and time were changed without my approval, which threw off my entire schedule. Even worse, the cleaners did not fully clean my bathrooms either time. On both visits, they completely ignored the bathtub, shower, and glass shower doors—basic tasks that should be standard for any house cleaning service. I was hoping the first experience was just a fluke, but after the second time, it's clear this is a serious quality control issue. I gave Homeaglow a fair chance and was extremely patient, but I've been left disappointed, inconvenienced, and now forced to waste more time filing complaints and asking for refunds. I do not recommend this service unless they make major improvements in reliability, scheduling, and cleaner accountability. A cleaning service should reduce stress, not create more.
Although my floors are really clean, David did not vacuum the bedrooms, the toilet and tubs were not touched and the mirrors were not cleaned. The couches were not vacuumed either.
I was extremely disappointed with Homeaglow. I tried to cancel the service immediately after my first cleaning because I was not satisfied, but I was later told I owed a $370 cancellation fee. I was never clearly informed about this fee—if it was mentioned, it was buried in fine print before the service even began. I never saw the link they claim explained the fee, and I certainly never agreed to those terms knowingly. I contacted them asking to confirm my cancellation back in April (4/2025) and to avoid any further charges, but I received no clear resolution. It feels like the company is taking advantage of customers by locking them into a commitment without making the terms obvious. This experience was frustrating and felt deceptive. I do not recommend this company's service
This company is a scam. They charge you $19 for the first cleaning and then you are locked in for 6 months for $70-200 a month and you have to pay $150 to cancel. It's a shame they couldn't run a legit business, the cleaners were good, the company is a scam. RUN AWAY!
A really horrible experience. I booked the initial cleaning online. My cleaner arrived late and I have a high suspicion that she was using drugs. I'm an EMT, I know the signs. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I was offered a credit towards another cleaning. I declined the offer and terminated our relationship. Now, months later, I find that I have been getting billed $51.20 per month for the past 4 months.
After contacting Customer Service (in name only), Emma informed me that I had joined some "ForeverClean" program and that there would be a cancellation fee.
There are so many house-cleaning options available, STAY AWAY FROM HOMEAGLOW!
They are a rip-off and should not be allowed to continue doing business.
I tried their initial service it was mediocre at best
First person showed up did not do a good job the second person did not show up
Then I started noticing monthly charges on my credit card I did not start signed up for recurring service just 1 time cleanings
And yet they signed me up
Bunch of scammers
Not really clean. I'm not sure if he knew how to clean or if he just really didn't care. I would think that every cleaning agent would be trained on how to clean, not thinking that they knew how to clean when they began working with this company. Do not send me someone who does not know how to clean or that I have to tell how to clean. I want a professional to come to my home, not someone I have to tell how to clean a bathroom.
I spent $180 for my cleaning! The cleaning lady they sent me was not experienced, which I paid an additional $20 for. She did not have a mop so I had to go got one and I literally cleaned half the house with her! When I canceled the next day they charged me an $88 dollar cancelation fee and a $49 membership fee, totaling $180! I will never do business with this company nor recommend them to anyone!
Our homeaglo cleaner stole $5,000 worth of jewelry and vanished. I've also had homeaglo cleaners scam the system by drawing out their arrival time until I gave up and was still charged for it.
HOMEAGLO IS NOT BONDED
They will disclaim responsibility for any bad actions on the part of their cleaners.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I NEVER would have signed up for this 6 month commitment. Total Scam. No way to cancel. No contact info. No email.
Disgusted that domestic terrorists are scamming people
The only reason it has a 1 start is because I had to choose something to continue. I signed up in August and have had 2 cleanings. The young lady was nice but doesn't really have much cleaning skills - she washed the few dishes in the sink and stored them wet. She swept and mopped the floor but didn't move anything. I tried her again but i was still not happy with her just pushing dust around again even after I had instructed to make sure she moved the chairs and garbage container to vacuum and mop she failed to do so. She does make things look tidy (what i needed was cleaning not storing) i have set up 3 more appointments, no shows not even a call to reschedule and i was then told that because the same day cancelation i would be changed. Yesterday i had an appointment once again a no show, I texted and asked where she was? She said she tried calling several times (no calls or texts were received) that she was sick and would reschedule, i gave her my availability and then texted me back saying she charges $100 if i was interested she would come. WTF really - what kind of business is this - they are a joke. Don't waste your money - my 7 year old can dust and clean better than them.
The Cleaner Tricia stole from my house and then charged more to my credit card then the amount I agreed upon. I requested 3 hours of cleaning and she charged me for more than 3 hours plus stole about $500 worth of stuff
Worst company ever. BE AWARE that if you sign up for their teaser rate you are automatically locked into a contract WITH A MONTHLY FEE OF OVER $50! No way would I have agreed to that if I had seen it. And when I tried to contact them - they tout 24/7 customer service altho it took 2 days to get a response- they conveniently waited until the first cleaning was done to respond to me because once the first cleaning was done I was instantly charged my first $50+ fee. AND this is on top of the cost to clean. And they refuse to release me from my contract. Clearly they don't care about very, very unhappy and angry consumers. I am taking this further believe me. This company should be shut down for the way that they scam you.
I've had issues with Homeaglow since my second cleaning.
They don't have enough cleaners in my area. Clients cannot wait until the day before their cleaning schedule to see if someone has accepted.
The company is not organized and doesn't follow through with finding cleaners until no one accepts the job the day before. Then it's a priority on their part. That's when they list a number of other cleaners.
This should happen days before the cleaning date. Their clients can't sit around and wait. The clients hire Homeaglow to find the cleaners other wise they could find them themselves at a lesser price and a better job with cleaning. Homeaglow charges regardless if they find someone or not and calls it a subscription.
Most of their cleaners are not up to par even though they claim they are.
Your advertisement sounds good unfortunately that's not what a client receives.
Reading internet reviews many clients have had the same experience as I have.
It's the company's responsibility to find dependable help. If they cannot find someone to clean the clients house they should not be charged that month otherwise what you were selling is a scam.
Regards
Chris C
The worst company ever! They charge me $300 for one cleaning while it was supposed to be 100. Did not respond to any of my emails or text messages. There is no phone number to contact them. This is the worst cleaning company ever!
I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Homeaglow. Despite my explicit request for cancellation, they have continued to charge me, which has forced me to report this issue to the necessary consumer protection agencies. This has been a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal that no customer should ever have to experience.
Please, if you're considering using their services, take this as a cautionary tale. Make sure to double-check all correspondences and account statuses to avoid falling into the same trap I did. Learn from my mistakes and think twice before engaging with this company. No one deserves to be taken advantage of like this.
This cleaning service demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. They made certain that every nook and cranny was treated, leaving no detail neglected. As a result, my home is now sparkling clean and looks beautiful. The staff displayed exceptional thoroughness and attention to their work, far exceeding my expectations in every aspect. I am quite pleased with the service done and the visible improvement in the cleanliness of my home. Without hesitation, I would recommend this service to anyone in need of a thorough and complete cleaning. Their dedication to perfection is reflected in the outstanding achievements they achieve.
