Don't do it. The trial is a lure to get you to enter payment and then you are hit with an immediate charge. They refuse to refund, claiming that it is in their terms that they bury. It's a shame that companies like this exist. Trash flavored trash.

Same thing happened to me like everyone else. $49.99 charge for no reason on my card. Going through Paypal and my cc company to try to get reimbursed.

Signed up to try the site out but was charged for a Video Call that I did not want for $49.99. I told customer service I did not sign up for that but the service said no refunds since astrologers are lined up to call me. I call bs! When I first signed up the next step screens kept asking me to sign up for different services and it took a while to find the skip or no button. Very deceptive practices and imagine being an older adult with poor eyesight not understanding and I'm in my late 30's…ugh. I just was curious and it cost me over $70…Don't waste your time with this app.

They trick you to sign up for $12 palm reading and then take US$19 per week from your account thereafter. They have stolen nearly AUS$300. I'm trying to fight it but it was in their fine print and they have a 'no refund' policy.

This app is a total scam. I signed up for the "free" 7 day trial and was immediately charged the $19.00 weekly subscription. I cancelled within 3 hours of signing up, verified it was cancelled and moved on. Only to have them charge me $49.99 two weeks later. No phone number to call, no way to contact them except interacting with a bot. I was able to open a ticket, to be told they have a no refund policy.

Several emails later, they told me the reason for the charge was because there must have been insufficient funds in my account, so they charged me for the service. A service was that supposed to be "free" for 7 days, I cancelled within hours and was charged two different amounts on 2 different dates. In addition, it was a credit card, so the assumption of "insufficient funds" is asinine.

I am currently disputing with my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers.

The platform does not operate in IOS, and the only way is to open it as a Safari page using the welcome mail. They collect the customer's money in a suspicious way and do not make refunds. It's an absolute scam.

Buyer beware, this app is a scam. I signed up for the trial period, but never received the welcome letter, nor could find any evidence of a subscription on my devices. I decided to look up other reviews & learned that most consumers have had the same experience (see Apple community forum reviews). So I tried to cancel the subscription. I even saved an image of their Bot's confirmation of my cancellation. I was still charged. So I went back on the hint.app website and was told that I was charged because I never cancelled. The Bot told me that a ticket was created to resolve my issue, but I never received any follow up. I decided to notify my bank and block any future attempts at taking money. I also reported the app to Instagram.

Back in early 2023 I looked at the Hint App and was about to do the 1 Month trial until I saw that it cost $19/week thereafter. So, I didn't execute the free trial and exited the app and uninstalled it. Several months later, random $19 charges began appearing and I missed this until Hint charged my account $19 three times in one day. After much back and forth, In June of 2022, Hint returned about half of the nearly $600 they owed me. I took the win and moved on. Fast forward to November of 2023 and they mysteriously began charging my business account $19/week Again, I noticed this after multiple charges occurred on the same day. I have attempted numerous times to contact both the help and support emails but with no reply. I have no account to sign into to cancel and they just keep charging me. I have reported this to my bank but somehow, even with a new debit card, they have managed to keep charging me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!

Had to cancel my card…never have I ever been scammed like this….HintApp is terrible. They did come back and refund me all the 2024 charges. They just told me they could not refund the one charge in Dec 2023. I was thankful to get what I did back.
