They connect you with a scam insurance agent who says they are qualified to sell you insurance in your state, talks about a well known insurance company like Aetna, explains all the details, which all sound legitimate, but then directs you to a "Verification Specialist" who ends up pressuring you to sign a document which ends up costing a different price, and more than that, is actually a completely different insurance plan than you were told you were signing up for. I am in the process of cancelling the charges made to me through my credit card company. The agent I was connected to said his name was Rocky Aponte and the number he gave me was: *******434. His company is called National Brokers of America and they are a complete scam. I hope you can avoid what I went through. It was awful, and it is truly sad that this goes on in our country. I will be reporting all of this to my state Attorney General.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE #! Complete waste of time and tons of harassment. This company is a marketing aggregator. Once you enter your information, they sell your information to dozens of insurance agents all over the country. I entered my info about a week ago and my phone started exploding. I'm averaging 15 sales calls a day from different insurance agents. Each agent has actually paid $ for my information in hopes of selling me a policy. I feel bad for these agents because each one of them has no idea they bought such a worthless lead. I can't imagine spending $10-$20 on a lead only to find out I'm one of 100 agents that were sold the same lead. You'd be much better off calling a local agent - one stop shop!
I wanted information on affordable healthcare in my area. I wanted an online quote and instead I got an immediate phone call to which I was told that there were no plans for my budget in the area. I thanked them and hung up. I now get 5 - 15 phone calls a day asking if I need health insurance. I do but I guarantee I won't be going through anyone who cold calls me. That is 100% scam potential. Lately they don't say anything but just hang up on me. Today I decided to call back. The gentleman knew my name before I even spoke. He asked if I needed health insurance. I told him politely to stop calling me. He said I've never called you but I will put you on the do not call list. Well thank you. HealthCare.com didn't not help and gave me even more problems. I am very disgusted with this company.
I signed up for the website to get a quote. Got a call immediately, and figured out within 2 minutes that I didn't need the service. Then the calls started coming... all the calls. From every insurance company imaginable. Many called multiple times within a few hours when I didn't pick up. Some of them super angry that they were inconvenienced because they called me when I wasn't interested. One rep even kept yelling at me after I said I was not interested and I wanted to be put on a do not call list. I was expecting to get a call or two with a quote, but I wasn't expecting that when I said I was no longer interested, all these companies would stop calling me. STAY AWAY.
Put your info onto this website at your own peril. If you do you will have your contact information out to an unlimited number of salespeople who will call you all day and night. NIGHTMARE.
This is the worst website / company i have ever been in contact with. After asking to be taken off the call list i was told to "shut the F*** up" and that the agent "did not care" about not wanting to be contacted. The number that called was *******591 at 9:34am on 05/02/19. This however was the 23 time someone tried calling in the past 24 hours. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR INFORMATION.
She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She let me know options that was available to me that other agents did not... She found me exactly what i needed. I will stay on hold until i am able to speak with only her. I don't know how much she makes but she deserves a raise. She's also wonderful and pretty funny. She brightened my day. Thank you J. Kelley
Another scam site. After offering a HC plan from top-rated Providence for $261/mo, the online policy page showed a non-name junk-rated company. When I inquired about the unannounced chance, I was switched to 'Daniel,' who claimed that the Providence plan is not avail; able in WA. Daniel screamed at me that it wasn't a big deal... This site is a scam; avoid it!
Received thousands call trying to sell me insurance from the day I input my information in this website one years ago!
I called thinking I would get a quote and written policy information. Bill (no last name) told me he was a licensed agent. Gave me a quote of $503/month, $0 out of pocket, PPO group plan. That seemed too good to be true. Then he mentioned the $125 application fee. I have NEVER paid a fee to apply for insurance.
He pushed me for a cc and I told him I wanted to read the policy information first. He talked 5 minutes non stop about him nit risking a $50,000 fine, 30 day money back guarantee, only 2 spots in the group, etc.
I received a text and 4 phone calls within 5 minutes of terminating the call. They are bad news.
The moral of the story - pay attention to the web address.
For the last 2 days i have received over 10 calls per hour from 3 numbers trying to sell me insurance. I have requested to be on the do not call list twice, and when i asked to speak to a manager, they hung up on me. It took me threatening legal action on the healthcare.com facebook messaging for them to stop.
Should have known better. Was just looking for some different rates but the immediately was bombarded with so many calls. Not sure why they keep on calling after I told multiple people I wasn't interested.
I tried to get some information online, I some how got into a endless loop and could not seem to get a quote. Since then our company have been getting 10 to 15 robo calls a day. That was 7 days ago. It have been very disruptive to our sales since we have to answer every call. When it was not a robo call, and I got to talk to someone, they hung up as soon as I asked why are they calling me so many times.
Horrible lying scammers at the lowest level. Just ask to see the policy in writing in the first few words. Even if you you're not interested they ignore it and keep going.
They resist saying their true company name until you press them. If they do tell you, look up the company on BBB... horrible. They are selling a health related product... but its nothing you need whatsoever. Its total farce.
Like other reviews, I've had 50 calls in the last two days. Only one rep said that was BS to get all these calls. I just started answering and hanging up immediately. The agents that call should be ashamed of what they do. At least find a respectable line of work. Despicable!
Desperate for healthcare, started applying for quotes. Less than a minute after submitting application, bombarded with phone calls. Received every hour since signup. Emailed support to be removed from call list, but no response. Terrible website and terrible service.
We tried to get health coverage and paid the application fee. When we called back the next day to ask some questions, they hung up on us. We never received the quote by email. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY! DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!
Never pay an app fee. I am a license insurance agent. We are not allowed to charge app fees it is against the law go to healthcare.gov if you need coverage. An app fee is never charged. Contact the attorney general in your state and insurance commissoner as well. Get detailed info if healthcare.com asks for an app fee.
Healthcare.com is a private site, not associated with. Gov.
If you want no obligation quote on premium and to see whether or not you qualify for ATPC (tax credit) and CSR (Cost Share Reduction) go to healthcare.gov
Customer service was rude. Had to put personal info on their request for info. Got a call right away. They asked if it was for pregnancy insurance. Then they asked if I needed healthcare today. When I said "no" it was for open enrollment, they hung up!
Answer: I thought it was healthcare.gov but it's a privately owned company that apparently gives your phone number to a million different scam callers
