It took a phone call and threatening to cancel payment with VISA to get my order shipped. They never answered any of 3 emails. They accepted payment and still had not shipped after 6 days. WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS OUTFIT TO ANYONE!
I bought a knife and leather cover for $400. It was listed as in stock. After more than 10 days, they still have not even mail it out yet! I am getting very worried it may be a scam site.
My advise, please reply to emails and update clients on the reason for the delays. If and when it actually ships out, I sure hope they use express mail and not by sea or land.
I will update if I got scammed or this is a genuine business site.
I ordered a knife for my husband on Nov 29th 2012. My credit card was charged instantly and yet not only have I still not received the item ( it is now 12/17/2012) but the item has not even shipped yet! It was in stock at the time I ordered it and when I contacted the retailer over one week ago they told me it would ship out last week! If your shipping is slow then let people know this! My husband ordered two items from another online retailer last monday and had the items by friday! They sure took my money fast, too bad they don't ship that fast!
I ordered a knife from them over a week ago (3/19/2012). The item showed IN STOCK. My bank account was IMMEDIATELY deducted. I received my first email that afternoon, stating that my order had been confirmed. I then received my SHIPMENT NOTIFICATION later that evening. BEWARE - They mislead you by printing a shipping label immediately upon ordering, you receive an electronic notification, thinking you item had shipped, but it hasn't. I sent them an email - NO REPLY. I even posted on their Facebook page, hoping to get a reply - they DELETED my post and made it where I couldn't comment on their page. Still have not heard back from them. In this day and age this is UNACCEPTABLE.
I thought they had forgotten to engrave my axe, until I looked REALLY hard and found something under the rust. Yes, the axe had rust on it.
I still have the rag with red on it from cleaning. I found what seems to be my name on it. I can barely make it out and still not clear
With a magnifying lens. Nothing like what they have on video on their homepage. Communication was great until I noted the problem. I've sent 3 mails over the past 6 days about my situation but no answer. I know its too late but I read the fine print on the home page. "Not responsible for engraving" What can I say... At least I got the axe? The engraving was so small that I could possibly pretend its not there? Wish I could at least get my engraving money back...

Item took too long to ship, sent e-mail querry but never received a reply, I paid for UPS ground but item was shipped Postal Service (Mail). Overall, service is poor.
I messes up my order. They fixed it. Fast E-Mail response and great communication. They are a little slow in mailing but no problem getting your stuff. Seems to be a Great company. I will order again and don't expect any problems at all. Fantastic engraving on knifes I have ordered. They look great. I can; t brag enough on there commutation plus they have a phone that actually works, and someone actually picks up.
I love my Slip N Snip scissors that I purchased through this site. Hand-tools.com has a very easy site to navigate with many kinds of knives and scissors to choose from. I found this not only the most friendly site in which to purchase the Slip N Snip scissors but the cheapest, too. An honest dealer. Thanks for such a pleasant purchase.
I purchased a Cold Steel Trail Boss axe. The company provided timely communication via email when the item shipped. Item arrived as scheduled exactly as advertised. The item was a non-standard shipping length but was packaged to avoid damage during shipping. A pleasure doing business with you. I'll definately shop here again!

THE KNIFE I GOT WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. VERY HIGH QUALITY. PRICE AND SHIPPING ARE VERY REASONABLE.

The executive ice scraper is rad- reasonably priced, completely legal, and easier on the hands than brass knuckles. It looks great on my key chain too.

I think this company is awesome, they were very polite, and the most important thing is that I got the Antique Silver Ninja sword for roughly $10.00 less than the other site I was about to buy it from. I cancelled my order with the other guys to buy it here. I shopped around a lot and this company had it at the best price.
They're a little slow for some orders, but they warn you about that ahead of time (It took a week to process my order before it was shipped). Other than that, though, they're a great company! I would definitely recommend them.
I have dealt with Hand-Tools.com in the past and have nothing but praise for this company. They had the knife I was looking for at a decent price and also offered engraving on the blade and embroidery on the sheath... something the other websites didn't offer.
