Gunbrokers good side but they deal with Franklin armory which are rip off pieces of s*** the gun blows up in your face and then you get screwed out of the money you paid for the gun and the gun
Update: 12.5.22
I was scammed on gunbroker by the dealer "Missouri Arms" 602 Market St. Fulton, MO *******. I created a claim with gunbroker and submitted all necessary documentation required for a valid gun broker claim. Its been months and I've re-inquired multiple times...crickets. BEWARE OF GUNBROKER. EVEN THEIR CLAIMS DEPARTMEN T IS A SCAM, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FIREARMS FROM THIS WEBSITE.
Do not purchase from the following seller on this website. It is scam.
Missouri Arms

FULTON, MO *******-1928
Horrible, stay away - my credit card info was stolen. They didn't do anything to the seller which have stolen my info.
Non responsible useless customer support. If seller f***ed you up - it is your ONLY problems. Don't go there. Many scammers there.
I purchased a $1,250.00 rifle that was advertised as new but when it arrived it was scratched and scuffed in many places. I reported this to GUNBROKER and they said they could not compel a seller to do anything. They could only recommend. They said the "Fraudulent Misrepresentation" the seller made was not Fraud under their guidelines. I spent weeks sending pics, emailing and replying. They said they escalated the case and instructed the seller to contact me for return. No one ever contacted me and GUNBROKER became slower and slower in their emails to me. They denied my FRAUD claim and said it was a CONDITION issue not fraud. I sent them the definition of Fraudulent Misrepresentation and they did not reply. They have no desire to kill the golden goose (seller) in favor of there buyer customers (sheep). If you buy a gun through them, remember YOU ARE ON YOUR ON. You can not compel a non-reputable seller from half way across the country to do ANYTHING.
After paying for a gun purchased at auction, I found myself victim of fraud. Gunbroker advertises they will reimburse you for fraud, however all they do is ask you the same questions over and over hoping you will eventually give up. They will not talk to you over the phone and communicate very slowly through email. I never ended up getting any money and was one of the lucky ones to find the scammer and receive my money back. Be very careful it is a well known site for scams.
Won an auction first of September 2016 in which seller then failed to send item. Go through hassle of filing complaint only to receive refund minus $100 of value paid for a firearm. Finally receive payment end of March 2017. Slow or no response to emails.
Waste of my time. Don't specify $1 fee until after verification. Don't mention needing credit card on file, until after bidding. And don't list bid reserves, just state that bid doesn't reach. This site is a waste of time if you have anything else to do.
I bought what I thought was a Sig M400 Enhanced with a fixed front sight and a flip up Magpul back sight. What I got was a Sig M400 without sights at all. I called Sig and gave them the serial number and they said it was sold with a Romeo Red Dot sight and should have come with that brand new from the factory, which is how the rifle was listed. Lo and behold, Sportsman Supply was selling Romeo Red dot sights-wonder where they got those? Anyway, the man I talked to at Sportsman Supply tried to argue that the ad listed that no sights came on the rifle. After I said that I searched the sight extensively, and he looked, he had to admit that it did not state that. He admitted they took off the sight and didn't list it that way in the ad but said he did nothing wrong and refused to do anything. When I told him I was going to report him he said good luck with that. I guess he already knew GB would not do a thing. And he was right as they have not responded to my fraud charge and I doubt they will. I have the money to go after them, though, and am thinking about doing so out of principle. I guarantee a jury of my peers will say they are liable, and they will make it right and pay for their lawyer and mine.
First of all, they charge you $1 fee just to be a member. In all of my days online shopping multiple types of merchandise I've never had to pay a fee to have an account with a sit. Secondly, because my identity couldn't be verified they wanted a picture of my id with the correct address and utility bill with address. For all that trouble the site was not worth it and I buy everything I need from Legion, which I highly recommend.
My account was suspended before I could buy anything. Apparently I didn't pay the buck they charge you to bid on items. Logged in and made that payment weeks ago. Account still suspended and no solution in sight. Moving on. Don't waste your time.
After buying from them, i listed a gun for sale, it appeared breifly, then dissapeared, after paying the fees. Emailed 3 times, no response, no phone! Bterrible business, do not use!
After reading reviews for (2) gun selling auctions sites, gunsamerica.com & now gunbroker.com I decided to not list my gun for sale... Buyer & Sellers Beware. Absolutely NO... say it again, NO, customer support for failed transactions. Lets all cancel and shut them down.
Their business has got to be great-2016 gun selling has never been better. I've read many reviews here where buyers and sellers beware, but that is the nature of on-line, not in person, transactions. Stuff happens, and most of it is because of the individual's involved lack of responsibility... GB can't be held accountable for idiots. But they are responsible for the basic mechanics, especially their billing procedures Double charging for their service fees/commission for the purchase of the same gun is unacceptable. They charge you to relist a gun, and when it is sold to someone that doesn't pay and gets resold in their auction(that you paid then to relist it), they know that the commission on the first non-sale must be returned. Their "service" department intentionally dodged the issue and stopped responding to my valid requests. Very disappointed I had to close my dozen+ transaction account.
Be careful with GB as they will always side with sellers in disputes and they tend to allow the sellers to walk over the buyers. I suppose they see the sellers as their revenue stream but without buyers the sellers are worthless. That's is another thing. You can find good prices here but some of these sellers are real A**holes. Beware of the sellers and check their rating before you buy. Overall, Gunbroker.com is not a good company to deal with as internet auction sites go.
A den of liars and cheats. Gunbroker does no overwatch and has no support. All they care about is stealing money from you.
Don't trust gunbroker site. Had a very bad experiance purchased and paid for an item and received a totally different non working piece of junk.
Seller didnt respond and became unregistered.
Buyer beware
The seller failed to deliver the firearm after being paid twice. Verification of payment was made through the fraud department of two financial institutions. Concern that GunBroker failed to verify the existence of the firearm before listing it for sale (won't provide a serial number) and posted an exaggerated rating for the seller. GunBroker has been no help in resolving the matter and only responds with canned responses.
First and last time I ever use this site. I would rate it a negative 10. I won a bid and after several emails to both seller and gunbroker.com could not even get a response. Use this site at your own peril. Disgusted in michigan
After gunbroker took money for registration they then decided to refuse my activation but never returned the money. Customer service is zero, emails are rude and mechanical. The cost of buying on this site is like buying something for 135% more then you can buy in a store by the time your done with the fees of shipping and paying an ffl. The sellers are greedy fear mongers and unresponsive to problems with your purchases from them. All in all they suck
Answer: Asking the wrong guy, will never return to that site, quite pleased with Auction Arms
Answer: One can hope the FEDS would shut them down you and every one else that uses them is in serious peril from the web site owners. They are the most unethical people you will find, In for the quick buck and non existant customer service. PLEASE try other sites to conduct your legitamite business on GB stinks.
Answer: I would absolutely look locally, ask a policeman where they would recommend you shop or google gun dealers in your area and then check the reviews. Under "no" circumstance would I suggest you do anything with GunBroker except delete, block and ignore. Run form them. Integrity does not exist here. My guns were withdrawn within a week or so of listing and now almost a year later they are still trying to access funds from my credit card. These people are not to be trusted with your personal financial information. Unless of course you enjoy drama, problems and working with people of questionable ethics.
Answer: I paid my seller within hours but he did not like the closing bid so he added a to high shipping. He relisted and sold for more $ and GB branded me a non payer.
Answer: Part of their scam
Answer: How many ways can you spell scam
