Are you an independent musician? Looking for ways to get more people to notice you?
Well, if you're considering Groover, I'd recommend spinning a sign on a street corner in a banana onesie instead. It's cheaper—and honestly, probably more effective. (I can't confirm this, as I only own a duck onesie.)

Groover is basically Submit Hub's European cousin. And while I generally love Europe, Groover might want to take a few notes on the acceptance part of the culture over there. Most of the playlists feel like they're curated by people who just want free money.

You can be an indie artist with international plays in 50+ countries (hi, that's me), 200+ streams in several of them, over 2,000 monthly listeners on the green circle with the white lines (Spotify), and even a glowing review from A&R Factory—and still, 99.9% of Groover curators will act like you recorded your entire track using a wet sponge and a flock of tone-deaf pigeons.

And don't even get me started on AI.

I'm a human artist—but it's just me, myself, and I. All of us are broke. We use as many real instruments as we can actually play (drums, piano, guitar, vocals, lyrics), and everything else gets handled in BandLab or Moises. Groover playlists will either say they accept AI music or won't specify at all. And yet—surprise—numerous reviewers still reject tracks for it.

Some are outright rude and suggest hiring "real musicians" (with money I don't have—possibly because they already took it). Others just ignore the review entirely, keep the credits, and leave me staring at my receipt wondering what I just paid for… while seriously reconsidering that banana onesie.
