They had a plant I've been looking for for ages. The price was a bit steep, but given the rare nature of the plant it was worth it to buy. Shipping was very fast. Plant was in fantastic condition and well packaged.

My plant was bigger than expected, but turned up without a pot. In lockdown finding a pot quickly and soil is not easy. I think it was in shock being out of soil and now has a big leaf dying

Hi Sarah. Thanks for ordering from us and for taking the time to leave a review. The product page for the Philodendron Florida mentions that the plant will be sent bare rooted, wrapped in sphagnum moss. We do send most of our plants in their pot, but this can be hard to do for the larger plants. We will always indicate how a plant will be sent in the shipping information on the product page. We've sent several Philodendon Florida in the post this way without any issues. These are hardy plants and we avoid any stress to the roots by leaving the bulk of soil surrounding the roots in place when we add the sphagnum moss. Please email us if you have any concerns regarding the health of your plant or if you would like some care advice.
