I commend you for having an easy to navigate website and fantastic efficiency in shipping. I ordered on a weekend, and still had my mats early on Wednesday - that's pretty impressive.

Your product is clean, professional looking, and the puzzle style mats I purchased go together very well.

My disappointment comes with the confusion that I have only now discovered upon delivery. I bought the "Home MMA BJJ 1-5/8 Inch" mats... I laid them on top of my existing carpet-padding & carpet. And the mat surface is MUCH HARDER than the carpet! I specifically chose them because, according to the page:

Home MMA mats are an excellent choice for ground grappling technique practice and full on takedowns. They are designed specifically for the grappling arts: Judo, Jiu Jitsu and MMA for home users.

Sure, I see that there is a "Grappling 1-5/8" mat that may have been softer (judging now solely on price). Imagine though, that you see something for "full on takedowns" and compare it to something that doesn't say that at all. There's no way this mat lives up to the advertising.

I know there's a refund opportunity... but I've paid shipping, would have to pay shipping again, and would have a 20% restocking fee... I can't justify spending like that... and now that I've taken the edges off to assemble them and tried rolling around on them to convince myself they're ok, I wonder if they'd now be "used" anyways.

I should have just spent more money and just purchased the same thing I had in my professional dojo in Los Angeles: polyethelene foam rolls (which I had purchased from Norberts). Instead, I tried this for my home training, and regret it.

I do feel like I was misled, and know better now. It seems like I was expecting more than I was paying for - and ended up with less than I had to start with. That's what's disappointing.
