Seems to have white uncolored streaks down arms. Doesnt look like the tye dye. Like someone laid bleach filled shoe laces down arms of it. Did anybody get sun hoody that looks this way, Doesn't look bad but not like my orange one.
I ordered rain boots from this company, and paid for it through PayPal. A few days later I get a notice of a refund. First of all, they didn't even send me a reason (I had to email them for one). Second of all, the only refunded the boots, tax, and shipping. Don't get me wrong. I donate to other animal places, but without being scammed. The guy said that they were out of stock when my order was placed. It shouldn't have been accepted then. I feel they just let their system accept out of stock orders to keep donations. I'd rather not be tricked for my donations. I'll never support this company.
I purchased 1 coat, 6 tops and 3 dresses. The clothing had that cheap dye smell and lack of quality. I contacted company and returned all of the items. I waited 1 month for the credit on my credit card. It never came. I contacted company and they said I did not return anything. I emailed them a copy of my Return postage receipt and the tracking saying the package did arrive. They stated they would call me back. They never did. I called them and they stated they only received 2 shirts back. (Funny since the whole shipment was together. They stated they would only give me Store credit due to length of time that had passed. (This was their fault-not mine.) Tried to use Store Credit and they said it didn't exist! Don't use this company unless you have money to burn and need a hobby talking to crabby employees in the Return Department.
I bought a couple of items from them about a year and a half ago. They were fine buys. No real complaints about the merchandise.
But immediately the emails started coming - 5, 6, 7 a day. You know there's enough email flooding at us. That's ridiculous. I changed my subscription settings several times. Nothing changed. I unsubscribed several times. Nothing changed. I finally just set them as SPAM. Now when I go to SPAM to see if anything legitimate got caught up I still see just as many messages a day more than a year after unsubscribing.
I think it is shameful, SHAMEFUL, that a company that claims to be all We Are the World, working for the betterment of the down-trodden walk all over their customers brow-beating them in to buying more and more and more.
Yes, they may be donating lots of dollars. But I don't believe for a moment, with tactics like this, that someone's pockets aren't getting lined as well.
I'm not saying don't buy their stuff. But if you do set up a throw away email account you'll never look at again. Otherwise you'll be harassed into oblivion.
GodfoundshooedI am a supporter of Animal rescue and saw this as an opportunity to support this effort as well as purchase a few Christmas gifts. I received one of the four items I ordered and the bill of lading had paper stickers attached for each of the missing items stating that the other items were OUT OF STOCK. Another sticker stated; We've issued a refund for each sold out item (and shipping where applicable).
Three guess as to what happened next (and the first 2 don't count). NO REFUND. After several emails going back and forth from a CSR named Bashie English - who told me there was a misunderstanding and that all items had been shipped so no refund would be issued! Today I sent another email to 'BASHIE' threatening legal action if I did not see a refund in my account by the end of the day. But then I found a phone number at the end of her email and made a call to hopefully get someone who would handle this immediately. I spoke to Sherick, who may have saved me from taking further steps, by apologizing for the out of stock situation and then for his co-worker who apparently had not bothered to do any checking on this order. My refund will be processed today. Sherick is the only positive thing I can say about this experience. I WILL NEVER support any charity through the Greater Good Network again and I warn others to avoid this as well.
By the way - no refund on TAX OR SHIPPING!
It would appear that 'Debra M' probably works for this company and is trying to re-build some of their reputation!
Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life! I tried to purchase something off the website and the order was declined. I tried several times and each time the purchase order failed. When I went to check my bank statement the money had gone from my available balance (I would like to stress that the company has not officially taken any money from me, but that money is no longer available for me to use).
When I contacted customer service it took two emails to get a response. I have, unfortunately, been dealing with "Bashie English" who is the most incompetent, useless individual I have ever had to deal with. When I asked for his help he told me that there was "nothing he could do" and that was it. I have not heard anything since and all following emails have been ignored.
Completely at a loss as to how to resolve my problem and try to get my £100+ back. I will never be dealing with this company again, especially now seeing all of the terrible reviews and suggestions that they are a scam.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! DONATE TO LOCAL CHARITIES THAT YOU KNOW ARE GENUINE!
I have purchased from this site & have NEVER had any problems. My orders always come very quickly. Everything I have purchased is very good quality. To hear negative comments & I do feel sorry for their poor experience. I have spoke to customer service with a question about a product. They gave me the information needed & even followed up with an email. As for the review that said "no reputable company charges for return postage", I have never found a company that doesn't make the customer pay for return postage. I have read in their website & the first thing I read is WE ARE A NOT FOR PROFIT CHARITY. I do hope people give them a chance. And for those that can't I do hope they have a better experience with another site.
Had ordered American flag tote, necklace, top. Each item is beautiful and made well!
They email you where your items are and date of delivery and time!
I recommend them.
Every order also feeds a veteran so many meals, they let you know that too.
I recommend them highly.
I purchased a lot from this company and I never sent anything back or complained until I ordered Cat's of many Faces hobo. The lining tore very easily and after it did I went onto their site and looked at the review's and 1 person had the same hobo as I bought replaced and 2 other's complained of the tearing as myself. Customer service (Bashie English) tole me that no one else complained about the hobo and the defect must be on my end. I went back to look at the review's and the hobo and review's were taken down. And after all I have spent on their product's. They refuse to do anything. I will never order from this site again!
I PURCHASED A PAIR OF SANDALS FROM THE BREAST CANCER SITE. I WORE THEM AROUND THE HOUSE BUT THEY WERE TOO BIG. I RETURNED THEM AND I GOT AN E-MAIL SAYING THEY WERE NOT IN RESALEABLE CONDITION AND THEY WERE THROWN AWAY. I QUESTIONED WHY THEY WERE NOT RETURNED TO ME BUT HAVE NOT GOT A REPLY. I AM OUT 29.99 AS THEY WILL MAKE A ONE TIME EXCEPTION AND GIVE ME A CREDIT. I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
Extremely happy with the items that I purchased. They were a good price and good quality for what I paid for it.
As for if a % of the money actually goes to feed animals, I don't know. Wish someone had a definitive answer for me.
Even if it doesn't, I bought an inexpensive item and the quality was lovely so I cannot complain.
I do hope that the money IS donated to where they say it goes. If anyone has a correct answer and not just a guess, wish you would let us all know.
Even though shipping is itemized separately from merchandise, this scam company collects taxes on shipping. No other company does this for my location. Customer Service says "our company is different".

They are a "commercial fundraiser" and only 8% of our contribution is ever give to a real charity. What a scam!
Folks, it doesn't matter HOW your order was handled, whether the merchandise was pleasing to you, etc. The question at hand is, Do the funds from what we buy actually go to charitable causes?
Just because something was the wrong size, or the dye in it affected your allergies, has absolutely nothing to do with the most important question, and what I'm trying to find out, which is: Does ANY of our money make it to CHARITY?
Do not buy from this 'so called' charity, because they will rip you off...!
Using their size chart I bought a ring from them and when it arrived it was 3 sizes too small. I know this because I got it checked at a British jewellers. I followed their returns guidelines and sent it back via recorded delivery. In total I spent $42.21 to buy the ring and return it due to their size chart being totally wrong. They only refunded me $19.82. Clearly this is how they make their money for their 'charity'.
I just received an order of clothing. I immediately washed all items as I am allergic to clothing dye. One tunic did not have a care label so I washed it on the "Gentle" cycle. The shoulder of the tunic fell apart in the wash, so I contacted the company. Their response? "It was hand-wash only so we can't replace it." There was no care label... really?

I've been a supporter of Greater Good's work for over a dozen years because I like the idea of also supporting charities when I shop. They've lost my business as of today, however, and I'm spreading the word why you shouldn't shop with them either. Or at least be very, very careful with your order!
I ordered an item that - when I received it - was very different from what was described on the Greater Good site. When I called about returning it, I was told I'd have to pay for the return shipping - which would come to more than the cost of the item. WTF?! No other reputable company requires customers to pay for return shipping on items that aren't as described on their website. Even companies that provide free shipping. What a scam!
Just received two items ordered in record time. I admit that I don't order often, but I have never been disappointed in the quality of them items. I like the fact that when I do order, it goes to help the animals in need. I have spread the word about your organization to anyone and everyone who will listen.
Over the last 5 years I have purchased dozens of items. I usually buy 5-10 items 1-2 times a year for Christmas and birthdays. I have bought jewelry, art items, soaps, ceramics, clothes, hand bags, shoes, and more. The Antique Sari tote bags were of such good quality that I have purchased something like 7 so far.
I have found that the quality and craftsmanship varied between the hundreds of items that they carry. But then, consider that the items come from many different countries and different communities. And I select what I choose to buy carefully so that I can support those communities.
Answer: Depending on how you donate will depend where the money goes. At GreaterGood we have several ways to donate to our causes. If you purchase items from our various websites such as the Animal Rescue site portions of those funds from your purchase go to help shelter animals in general. The amount averages to be about $. 50 per dollar goes to help shelters. If you elect to donate to a specific cause such as our flights to freedom or specific 'Gifts that Give More' option, 100% of that money donated goes to the actual cause you selected. The donations that you give for any of our Gifts that Give More causes is also tax deductible. You can also obtain further donation information from our non-profit partner's website at www.greatergood.org.

Answer: Carole, once your order is placed, you should receive an order confirmation email to the email address you entered at the time of the order. Once the package is picked and packaged and a tracking number assigned (which should have occurred already if it has been a week), a shipping confirmation email is sent to you with the tracking number. Once the package ships, we ask that you allow 7-10 business days for delivery. If you feel that you have not received the communication that you think you should have on this order, please contact our customer service department at either [email protected] or by calling 877-355-4321
Answer: Joyce Thank you for your question. However, I think you may be thinking of another organization. We at GreaterGood do not sell mobility scooters. Some consumers confuse our organization with another similar organization called Greater Goods (with an s). You might want to try them.
Answer: We are true to each of our cause areas and have employees and customers across the political spectrum. Our customers can choose which sites to click and shop on based on their preferences, and we work hard to provide each of them good products and services. Because our cause areas are different, we don't sell leather or horn on The Animal Rescue Site but do sell items made from these materials on The Breast Cancer Site or the Veterans Site; since we believe we have a duty to each of our charity partners and cause areas to raise funds and be impactful, in whatever ways can help most. For instance, we work hard to source and sell fair trade goods which provide rural women artisans a way to pay for their children's education in addition to providing meals and opportunity to refugees from war and disaster both in the USA and elsewhere on The Hunger Site. Greg and I met at the University of Michigan in the mid-70s on the "Bottle Bill" campaign and believe there is much more agreement across the political spectrum on issues than is commonly acknowledged. The returnable bottle law in Michigan is the strongest in the nation, and it was passed by voters across the political spectrum who are all interested in reducing waste and energy usage. That campaign was primarily funded by the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (www.mucc.org) who are hunters; with lots of volunteers from environmental groups and young people who were primarily not hunters. Both Greg and I believe there needs to be more economic justice; which was one of the reasons we created this on-line business over 20 years ago, because it empowers our customers and staff to be able to do good in the world every day. We are proud that we have raised over $60 million dollars for charity since 1999, but we have a long way to go. Tim Kunin (co-founder of CharityUSA, the owners and operators of the GreaterGood websites).
Answer: Bryan Yes we do have a phone number for our customer service center but we are not a shelter. We are an online retailer that sells products and proceeds from those sales go to support animal shelters. Our phone number is (888) 355-4321. However, if you are looking to foster pets, I would recommend calling a local shelter or animal humane society in your area. Thank you Jodi Director, Customer Service GreaterGood
Answer: Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in our causes. I cannot speak as to why the questions from 2018 were not responded to as I am a recent addition to the GreaterGood organization and I am the Director of Customer Service. I have taken over the review and response to sites such as sitejabber. If you have any specific questions about our causes, please let us know or you can also contact our Customer Service team for assistance. They can be reached at 1-888-355-4321 or by email at [email protected].
