It will try and ¨fix¨ your writing but all it does is want to make me rip my hair out. I have to write an essay for my class and she's having us use the ¨overall score¨ and the premium suggestions are killing me. It wants me to fix problems like ¨It tells the story of Salva Dut a lost boy from South Sudan" And if I remove the ¨A" making it improper (It's fine with that by the way). The whole premium section is a scam don't waste your money.

As a professional journalist/writer, I thought that I had excellent skills in language, punctuation, and other tools of the trade. It wasn't until I used Grammarly that I discovered that there were many errors I was making with my professional and personal writings. Grammarly helped to point these out and made me a better writer than I already was. It truly is an invaluable tool for anyone who writes, whether it is professional work or just a post on Facebook.

I use the last version of word in a windows 10 computer. I'm writing my thesis and grammarly seemed like a great idea, but in reality it doesn't work for office word. It makes it incredibly slow and 99% corrects what is suggested in the wrong place, for example adding a comma that was suggested in the middle of a word instead of at the end of the word. I lost my money and time trying to make it work. If you are writing a short letter or email it's great. For real academic world it's not.

Sharp knives let a chef's vision make it to the plate. A fresh saw blade allows a carpenter to fit joints perfectly. For a writer, expressing a cutting insight with a pithy paragraph requires well-honed words in concise arrangements. Even after writing as a lawyer for 25 years, Grammarly has urged me to write better. It calls out missing commas, suggests better phrasing, and corrects spelling errors. It is subtle and unobtrusive across word processing apps and websites, and it learns from you, too. I recommended Grammarly to coworkers, friends, and my university-attending children. Others will judge you by the words you speak and write, so use the best words that you can.

I type and communicate all the time. My writing is long and wordy. I use excellent language, but type fast and poorly. Grammarly is there to strengthen my communications and correct my fast but inaccurate typing. I can in spell with accuracy, and have never spelled a word wrong back in my school days. But a typist I am not. Grammarly helps me greatly with this. It has cut back my overly wordy sentences and corrected my typing.

If you are a company or running your own business, purchase this programme. If you are like me, forced into early retirement, if you can afford it, and do a lot of communicating, use Grammarly. It is expensive at first glance, but my husband, still working, uses it. The full Monty, so to speak. If I could afford it, I would purchase it. I most assuredly would. And I would buy the top version offered.

My friends refer to me as the English Nazi. I earned that title years ago in high school. It does not matter why one's communication needs Grammarly. Poor typing, cluttered brain, dyslexia, the list is extensive. But whatever the reason, I highly endorse it.
