I've used Grammarly 3-5 hours a day writing a novel for several months. My monthly reports place me 95 to 98% in all categories. I have developed a love hate Relationship with it. The synonyms feature is rudimentary in comparison to MS WORD which I still must keep a ailable on one of my five monitors. It almost always wants to replace my colon colon with a semicolon. Takes a lot of time figuring out whether or not to acceppt some corrections. And some are dangerous.
I cannot give a good or bad rating, so I chose to go average, which isn't terrible, but I can only use the grammar checker, and none of the premium stuff which is what I am very curious about. I may still end up purchasing, but my fear is that once I do, I will not like it. Why could I not get a weeks trial or something like that? I am wanting to write a lot more and would love a program like this, I just don't want to make a blind purchase, thank you. I will change my review if I can actually try out the premium stuff.

Hello, I love Grammarly and everything in it. Well not everything, just the money I need to pay to get a premium. Since I'm starting to write a ton of essays, I'm using Grammarly, but sometimes they tell me that I need to fix something, which makes me worried since I can't see what was wrong so I might lose points on my essay. I was told by my college room mate ive known for 50 years to install it. It does help but much of what i work on is industry specific. I dont write letters but just emails.

It is helping me a lot to improve my English, it shows me my typical mistakes and show me how to write better.
When writing copy for any kind of promotion, you need a 2nd pair of eyes. It's easy to make errors, and no one wants to see them in print! Grammarly provides that service.
This app is great, it helps me with my schoolwork, especially LA. But sometimes when I click on the improvement it wants me to make, it can sometimes delete a few letters and the space from the word, and group 2 words together. Example: at one point I typed "really good" in a sentence and I clicked on the Grammarly improvement and all it did was what I described and it came out as reagood. Other than that, great app! If you could improve the problem, I will definitely change the rating to 5 stars!

I think that sometimes the suggestions get on my nerves. Anyway, Grammarly is a great app!
Grammarly flags misspelled words or incomplete sentences as I type, as well as lets me copy and paste text into a blank page to check work on that one page only.
This ap requires very little thinking, I love that it corrects my grammar, it's been a long time since my last English class.
