Grammarly has been a great resource to correct and clarify my typing with personal and work assignments.
My main concern with Grammarly was how "over powering" I was concerned it could become. It is not. Sometimes the "G" box gets in the way but that is very rare. I give the designers credit for allowing the writer to be original.
Grammarly comes in handy. I send a lot of emails to many different people, and it's very helpful. My only complaint is the limit on allowed corrections/suggestions. The free version only allows you to use it 3 times a day. Any more than that and you'll need to purchase the upgrade. The organization that I work for doesn't have the budget for this, so I'm not able to upgrade beyond the free version.
Mostly I love Grammarly. I've been using it about 3 months and I mostly use it for work. My only critiques are that it tries to remove words I've added for emphasis. I routinely mark those as wrong but still get them flagged.
I've found for other things that my own writing has improved since using Grammarly.
I also live using the AI suggestions for tone. For example, if I write an email that I feel is too long or not direct enough, I can ask it to help me shorten my email or help make my tone more direct. I don't use the exact suggestion, but it helps me reword my own writing.

I would highly recommend this app. It has helped me numerous times. It has corrected some mistakes and also recommends what words to use and how to spell it. It has been a real life saver. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
Generally my grammar is fine, but being dyslexic makes spelling difficult for me sometimes and I really appreciate the corrections. It saves me a lot of embarrassment!
