"Money back guarantee" is a lie. I paid hundreds for an item which was not delivered in 3 months, the seller never responded to any messages and Grailed said the best I can do is try to reach the seller or the shipping service
Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size of sweatshirt and tried to work with the guy to return it and get the right size. This is where he tried to scam me for more money. I paid $148 for the sweatshirt, he told me he would buy it back for $120. Then he would resale the same sweatshirt but now in the right size for $160. This guy tried to make $40 more dollars off me. I had no problem paying for the shipping to send it back, and the shipping to get my new sweatshirt. This is when I decided to give him a review of a one star and explained that this guy didn't try to work with me at all, but instead tried to get another $40 from me. Later that day, I went back in and noticed that my comment was gone and that he had changed it to 5 stars. I didn't know how he was able to change a review until I went back in and I realized that he is an administrator (which means he works for Grailed). That's when I realized that this site is a scam. We have been trying to get ahold of customer service to report him, but because he works from them we never receive a response. Don't fall for the 5 star review, they have the ability to change your review so it looks good on them. Stay away from this site!
My son has purchased items from the site in the past, but sold a pair of shoes for the first time almost 100 days ago for $617. He listed the UPS tracking number he used to deliver the shoes. He still has not been paid by Grailed. We cannot get anyone on the phone to help and the "customer service" ticket threads are a joke. We'll be notifying the BBB and our lawyer says it's time to get involved. I would not recommend Grailed to my worst enemy.
Grailed freeze my account for baseless accusation made by the buyer 7 MONTHS after the transaction (Paypal's decision was in favour of me) on March 2020. Although i explained trough email together with the supportive documents on the same day and numerous email sent to them for an outcome, they have not reply me and still freeze my account. Not professional
Hello, grailed is 50-50 % but I bought shoes from seller with name: mlwdsn and this seller is awesome, quick, perfect communication and legit shoes :))
Zero customer service, they dont even have phone number to reach out to them, email correspondent takes forever and not helpful at all, their authentication team (they hired their team via reddit that should tell you something) pass the counterfeit items as legit and authentic items as counterfeit, stay away if you are not looking for headache.
This company is not reputable. EBay figured out how to deal with disputes decades ago but this company does not have the ability. If there is a dispute you will get screwed. And scammers use this to screw you.
I sold an authentic designer branded item and the buyer immediately started crying foul and claiming it was fake. I offered a refund if the item was returned, but grailed.com returned the money before I received the item and I never got it back. I got scammed and the buyer probably resold my item after they got their money returned to them. They have all kinds of BS seller guarantees on their website but they are meaningless - how hard is it to hold the funds until the item is returned? This is a scammers paradise and the company will not help you out. DO NOT SELL HERE! If you are a scammer you have found your home - have at it!
Grailed paid there seller fees after a buyer going through Grailed tried to Scam me and charge back the shoes... Thanks Grailed...
Bought a pair of off white x Nike sneakers for $662. They were described "like new" but upon receiving them the condition was much worse. I attempted to file a "significantly not as described" claim with PayPal to get my money back but was denied. I also asked grailed for a legit check and never got one. I recently tried to repost the exact same sneakers in an attempt to at least recoup some of my money while being honest about the condition, and they were immediately taken down for being "inauthentic". If they're inauthentic, why was I allowed to buy them? And why was NOTHING done when I brought these problems to grailed last attention? I am now out nearly $700 and I don't know what to do. This has pretty much ruined my small reselling business. I am a 5 Star seller on grailed with 15 reviews, every single one 5 Stars. Until this issue is resolved I will go to every single outlet I can and let this be known. STAY AWAY FROM GRAILED. The site is infested with scammers, fakes and dishonest people and the "team" at grailed will do * literally nothing* to help you get a refund besides telling you to open a PayPal dispute. Don't be naive like I was, take your business somewhere legitimate. Grailed is certainly proving to me that they are not that.
Bought a tshirt from GRAILED. Seller put an ad saying worn just once but when tshirt arrived it was faded, had holes, stained. Appealed to GRAILED and they suggested to contact paypal. Paypal told to return the tshirt. After returning the tshirt paypal declined my claim saying seller messaged that he received a different tshirt(paypal n grailed believed him) don't know how and why. My money and tshirt both gone. Worst part of the story is GRAILED changes my review from 1 star to 4 star for the seller which i cannot edit now. GRAILED, PAYPAL and the SELLER all are the part of the conspiracy and i have lost my money. No buyer protection nothing
I love buying men's streetwear from this site because it is has a great selection and overall I think the site is more hip than ebay. I've found a lot of good deals here and will continue to use it into the future!
Honestly for people that are looking for certain grailed this might seem like the right website but once you realise how bad their customer service and support really is youll stay away as far as you can.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Purchased a pair of Givenchy sneakers but instead got women's underwear made in Romania. Complained to Grailed and they *banned me* because the UK tracking number on most of the pics did not match the US! Surprisingly, for a website that posts internationally, their incompetent and ignorant staff don't know that whenever a package arrives in another country it gets a local tracking number. In any case, I sent a photo of the US postage on the package and they still banned me. There is not a phone number you can call and it is different people replying to you so no one owns the complaint. Didn't get a refund so lost $320. NEVER AGAIN! GRAILED IS A SHAM!
Grailed is a marketplace for menswear of all kinds although with a streetwear root. With few exceptions most of the users are individual buyers and sellers of new and lightly used clothing. The concept isn't new but Grailed is the first menswear only marketplace and the largest of its kind. It's very easy to set up an account to begin buying and selling, which is enabled by PayPal. Grailed aims to create a community environment for its users, allowing users to communicate with one another and comment on its editorial contents. All of these set it apart from eBay alike.
As a result it draws both professional and casual sellers, coveted pieces, and high purchase intent buyers, which generate high traffic and transaction volume. Seller fee is 6% of the selling price plus PayPal fee, totalling about 10% of selling price.
I post listings on Grailed, eBay, and Styleforum since 2015. Grailed has generated a great deal more traffic and sales. Like on any marketplaces you may encounter scammers or dishonest sellers, so both buyers and sellers should be aware of their duty of care before making transactions. Upon dispute buyers and sellers should first try to resolve between each other before contacting PayPal and Grailed. I definitely recommend Grailed for both menswear buyers and sellers.
Grailed is strictly for menswear. What I like about it from a seller's point is that it has three levels to list your items: Grailed (the highest) to Core (the lowest). Core is for Ralph Lauren, Levis, those kinds of brands. Grailed is for the $300 t-shirts! And $1000 Athletic shoes; Jeezys.
The Good:
From a seller's point, I like the ease of listing items. I like the way my items look in photos. I like that they have a low % fee.
The Not so good:
But on the opposite side it seems lately the site has really been MIA. No traffic. I sold a couple of items within a month, and since then nothing is looked at or sold, so I think the owners and staff have taken a vacation and may not be working the site. They could also take a hint from Ebay and send out tips & announcements, letting the sellers know if their listing needs improvements.
It also seems to want to be an international site, doing a lot of business overseas, esp. In Asia. I'm not sure if they filter the sellers and care if they are selling knockoffs and pirated goods.
Answer: Definitely a scam in my personal experience. Purchased a fake and customer service is refusing to help or provide any sort of support/update
Answer: Another avenue to reach a wider crowd to sell an item...
Answer: Try GOAT or even StockX... atleast you will get a response from them...
